^Dude if you did move the maintnance sheds it would be an expensive task (you should see all the prizes in the games warehouse) while it could be done I just don't see the park expanding too much more in that direction

I really doubt that this would be necessairy because the park has been doing without them for a couple years now...also turnstyles seem kindof like an un-necessary luxury to a chain that doesn't have a large amount of extra money to spend.

Yes some people will get upset at the workers, heck I have been given the middle finger for asking someone if they wanted to play Age and Weight, unfortunately that is part of the job and I just ignored it and moved on. A job at an amusement park is only for some people, my friends still make fun of me for how much I like my job.

Well so far they haven't done that, if they really were trying to de-paramountize everything employees would have recieved new uniforms, everything in the park would have recieved a new logo, new brochures...and had a normal guest walked in the park in August they really wouldn't have noticed any physical changes which I think was very smart of Cedar Fair

I agree they are really moving, I drove by the park yesterday on the way to the lodge and I think you can see Firehawk in the skyline now!

I remember back in the day when they had those hand power car/trains in Kiddie land which were taken out only last year. I also remember back in the days when there was a large tubes playset thingy where reptar is now and playing in those. Also there were the good old days in waterworks before it expanded. I remember also being able to bring food into the park and we would pack our lunches and eat at Bubba Gumps

Rather off topic here but in terms of a big steel coaster will we be able to see Firehawk as a part of the skyline of Kings Island or is it too far back and too small

Well the problem with somthing like Splash Mountain here at KI is that they will have to close it down in the offseason as opposed in Florida you can leave it open all season. Also don't forget FOF is a great dark ride and TRTR is one also.

Allright So I was out with pkitrumpet to Jungle Jims and I was really fascinated by the monorail that was out there as I knew it came from KI. As we drove around Jungle Jims we stopped by what appeared to be the station for the monorail. Was this the original station for the monorail from ki and does anybody know when Jungle Jims will finally get around to making the monorial functional again. As an interesting side note we found some bumper cars with coney islands name on them that had been turned into bases for the shelves for the isles.

I don't think that they could start filing lawsuits, doesn't seem fair to me, gwl has never done anything neglagent and trust me it is very important for them to create a safe experience.

I would imagine that she has one of the toughest jobs around having to be a public speaker and be on the spot for questions like that, while i am sure that there is plenty of information that she cannot share and has to keep confidential

This would make things very interesting for the park if they don't allow smoking at all...what about smokers who work at the park does this mean that they have to leave the property to smoke, if so where in the world do you go. I don't smoke but I know those who do and it would seem just rediculous to not allow it all all in the park. Seems there is no good solution to the problem.

Aww man I sure hope that they don't make the waterpark too much cooler. I always love walking in there and it is like the one place where you aren't freezing you but off when you walk from attraction to attraction...but then again they may have no choice. I have been to the waterpark 3 times, and i have never seen or had any of the people in my group have problems

I can back you up on that one on my way to the lodge on Monday I passed by it and it appeared in the back of the lot closest to GLW there was a crain and two flatbeds. On these flatbeds appeared to be pieces of track and under them supports which I can only imagine is the station.

I sure hope that isn't the color because that is just well...ugly. A wood coaster looks good brown but to paint a steel coaster that color would just be dumb. I am also assuming it is primer I don't think cf is that bad with colorcoding

Well I have never seen racer boy and I worked in games in that area quite a bit in 05. I don't know much about being able to hear or feel ghosts all I know is I have never had an encounter. I can't say I believe or don't believe in them, but when I am in like the coney arcade late at night I make sure I am quick to scram.

Hmmm...good topic I am going to say sitting around the efifle tower looking at any of the varous paths that go around the park, I like to do it on a non-operational day because it is so peaceful and nice.

I would urge you to go take a trip to the job fair or make a call to ki in the next coming days, I would imagine those positions are quite limited but I would think that with all then new shows and things they are adding they would be looking for sound technicians. While Kings Island may not pay the best I have found that I don't work for the pay but more for the enjoyment of the job and the people I have met there.

^At least you got your stinkin picture taken and you are in it, I worked over 600 hours and I never got the pic or the yearbook and when I tried to buy the yearbook from associate services in October they said the sale was over! I really would have bought one too.

Hey guys I was passing the park today on my way to GWL and I thought that i noticed that there was not as much of x-flight/Firehawk sitting in the parking lot anymore. Either this or they have been moving pieces around to make things possible more organized. Could they be begining the track construction?!

^Well I wish I could but in all my time that I put in at the park this year, while the park was up for sale, I never saw any group running around in business coats and such, not saying that your wrong but if I would imagine they would have swung my nick u and I would have seen them, but I am sure a ride operator will be able to tell you on here.
