^ Ok guys(especially you Browntggrr), stop harassing Brian5475E. He made some bad choices in posting but he got corrected and he no longer posts fake information. So, just let him post without being harassed about what he did when he first joined.2 points

Oh, it worked out just fine. Train location discussion has been moved here: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/25938-general-son-of-beast-discussion/page__pid__472195__st__60#entry4721952 points

Not sure whether you're being sarcastic or not, but I'll point you in the direction of the Terms of Service: Sorry if I'm just trying to keep these forums cleaned up for those who want to contribute worthwhile posts like LongLivesKingCobra and people who want to spam it with their vague crystal ball predictions.2 points

So you have one token, no picture, and you start a topic about it. Standbyme has a $hikpot of tokens AND a picture of them. I'm going to starting a topic called, "Standbyme Wins!!"2 points

How about a thread just entitled "HERE'S A THING!" and we can bullet point all of the minute, Kings Island related things we find / think / want / feel / learn / hear at once instead of having separate topics for each little thing that crosses our mind?2 points
-
As others have stated the old tokens are not really worth much...some people TRY to get $5-$10 each on eBay but they don't get it. I purchased a batch of them for less than $5.00.2 points

How are you going to have time to make a site dedicated to the train when you are spending all your time making new topics here?2 points

Lets you sit at the cool lunch table. Also shows how much you've posted. Until proven otherwise, I do take note of the circles a person has and bases my "want/need" to read what they post. There are some members who don't have 500 posts, yet I read what they have to say because they have proven to add intelligent conversation, even people who have less than 10! However, there are those that have more than that, 100-500 that I very much ignore. Not every person does this, it's just how I operate...1 point

Yeah, in California (that continues to be in a financial hole year after year), the State has agreed to sell $4.5 Billion of bonds (new debt) to fund part of the estimated $68 Billion cost of the project in order to secure $3.2 Billion of Federal Government support. I wouldn't plan on riding high speed rail from LA to SF very soon.1 point

I get the feeling railroader19 is desperately trying to get to 100 posts. If this is true PLEASE just go to an old post and type, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 100, in separate posts. Because once you hit 100, people here will take every topic you post more seriously. (plus you get to sit at the cool lunch table)1 point

Maybe I should go to Ford's web site and ask when are they going to bring back the T-Bird? But really, do these people that keeps posting and asking upper management at Kings Island or even Cedar Fair to confide in them and reveal their secret plans (at risk of their career in the amusement park industry)?1 point

Apparently the General SOB Discussion thread didn't work out as planned.......1 point

I don't know what's going on. A major new attraction hasn't been announced, so therefore this influx of "annoying" users is strange. Perhaps it's a rebirth of users past? Selective? Pizzababy? ect. ect. and so fourth...1 point

Sometimes an unpainted sign is a sign of things to come; sometimes an unpainted sign is just an unpainted sign. Those that know are not speaking, those that are speaking are just guessing; or are they?1 point

I don't think either type is best. They each have their own qualities and depends on what kind of mood I am in.1 point

Hersheypark has always been one of my favorite parks. My recommendation is to be at the park at ropedrop and head to any of these rides; Storm Runner, Fahrenheit, Roller Soaker, and Skyrush. These rides have the longest waits in the park. All other rides should have minimal waits, due to high capacity and the great operation done at the park. Lightning Racers is a walk-on all day, everyday. It is one of my favorite wooden coasters and I recommend taking advantage of the lack of a line to ride it multiple times. Roller Soaker is the only of its kind still remaining, for good reason. Low capacity and a generally boring ride bring it down to one of my least favorite rides ever. If you wish to ride, be there the moment it opens, otherwise it just isn't worth it. Fahrenheit, Storm Runner, and Skyrush are all fantastic Intamins (although I have not ridden Skyrush, but from what I've read, it is fantastic). Storm Runner is my favorite ride in the park with a great, short but sweet layout. When you ride, the front seat is worth the extra wait. Also, the area by Sidewinder and Storm Runner has some very tasty food. The pasta dish I had was great! Have fun at Hersheypark, I know you will!1 point

In this life I do not consider myself that knowledgeable about too much...but after over 10 years of following Kings Island stuff on eBay and other sites, I do feel like I have a feel for what Kings Island stuff is usually "worth". Sure, sometimes things go higher if the seller happens to get lucky when two people really want an item and fight for it...or lower if the seller describes the item wrong...but generally things stay in a certain price range. When I posted my comment and photo it was simply to let know railroader that the coins are no gold mine. I posted the photo to save him the trouble. The photo that I posted is one of my own "file photos" that I took years ago when I was cataloging my collection...I don't want to buy the same item twice! (My collection is all boxed away so I lose track sometimes.) The coin does have value...but that is only if it brings back good memories to whoever owns one. Another reason that I have photographed all of my stuff is so that my relatives can ebay everything easier once I am "gone"....really.1 point

To anyone that wants to watch the show, it goes from 9 to 10 tonight. Beforehand, Xtreme Waterparks goes from 8 to 9. I always love Travel Channel's rollercoaster and waterpark shows, so I know they will be great!1 point

This would be my ideal plan. Get to know both parks. Try to find the most efficent route to each ride from another ride. Try to plan each move of your day (that's what my friends and I did for Universal Studios). Do this, and you're likely to make the most of your day. You can never know for sure what crowds will be like. Make sure you check the weather forecasts for your planned days in advance (try checking as close to your dates as much as possible to get an accurate reading). For once, I actually echo railroader19's thoughts to a certain degree. Try to get to the parks at ropedrop, and then hit up the low capacity rides first thing, then wait in line for the higher ones later. Low capacity rides at each park that I highlighted are: Dorney Park: Stinger: This is the exact same ride as our Invertigo. If you haven't ridden ours, then ride. If you have, skip. Voodoo Possessed: This is a very fun style ride, like Wicked Twister. However, instead of a curved spike at the back, it has a straight spike. I would reccommend sitting in the back row for this ride, as it makes for a looong ride down while riding. I'm not sure if the holding brake is operational on this ride, as it is disabled on Six Flags Great America's version (structural fault), but if it is, added bonus. Screamin' Swing: With only 8 passengers total, this line will probably move slow. HOWEVER, this is a pay-per-ride attraction, so lines may be shorter. Demon Drop: I don't know about this ride-- It does seem ot have low capacity, but there are many cars moving at the same time, so lines could be moving swiftly. Wild Mouse: I don't think I have to explain! Hershey Park: Roller Soaker: Not only have I heard about capacity nightmares, but it also is not well received by the public, so I would just skip. Wild Mouse: Again, I don't need to explain. So there ya go. I would also recommend reading MF2000CMH's Excellent PTR that includes Hershey Park.1 point

I've never ignored a user on this forum (although I'm close currently to wanting to use this feature). Do you see anything when they post or does it not even register as a post? And don't worry Terpy, even though your constant "diversion" references have me baffled beyond belief, I'm not ignoring you1 point

What qualifications does your uncle have to inspect a roller coaster for repair and/or demolition? When did this inspection occur? And what world records that are beneficial to Cedar Fair/Kings Island does it hold? There are just some inexperienced posters that could cause confusion. Seriously, slow down and think before you post.1 point
