posted on KI instagram page, confirms that fan reception to the show gave the park the green light to return the long missed phantom theater to it’s rightful place, we in the community should pat our self on the back for this because we made it happen!

The only thing I'm really worrying about is the over saturation. I mean, I typically "pay off" the $1k by June at the latest with the number of redemptions. It'd just be nice to have some of that $ still in my pocket.

I may not have been clear, so if not my bad. Carowinds is $499 right now, so anyone who has Prestige can use it at any park, as well as Kings Dominion, Dorney, Six Flags Fiesta Texas ($449), Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Great Escape, Six Flags New England, Six Flags Over Georgia, and Six Flags Over Georgia ($449). A hand full of parks have it listed for $625. I just don't think it's right that they sell an add on for $999 across the board at the beginning of the season sales, which are supposed to be the best sales and then all the sudden they drop the price for the same exact item. But again, I guess they have their $.

Someone who might be more knowledgeable can correct me, but I believe today on the live cams they’re working on some concrete work to extend the pathway and make a short extended queue(???) and work on the facade will probably actually begin soon instead of my false alarms with the flooring company. I don’t know where this rumor started or if it was something confirmed in the permits that I still won’t check because of spoilers, but I think Plague Productions might be involved considering they just posted about construction season starting, and a Boo Blasters thing on their instagram story.

My ride on Blazing fury was quite enjoyable, but I did get that sense of "what's going on" in the middle of it. Part of that could be attributed to my experience being a zen ride (where I was the only rider on my train) though I think there was more off than that. If they do anything else to it, I hope they find a way to stick with the current ride system instead of bringing RMC in to completely redo the track. The jankyness added to the experience for me. Besides that, Blazing Fury is less restrictive on guest size than something like Lightning Rod. That kind of thing is important to me as someone with larger family members. As Dollywood continues to expand I hope they can keep sight on the fact that rides like NightFlight Expedition and Blazing Fury can coexist in the same park. BF doesn't really need to be updated beyond adding a little more context (as Brent put it).

The issue is screenshots never accurately show any activity, but earlier in the morning they had a concrete mixing truck and people within that area. You can faintly see the truck behind the trees. I don’t fully trust that’s what it is (it seems odd to only add a few feet to the pathway) but they had some landscaping work last week that I could vaguely see on the cams.

Still think a Big Red Machine dive is a banger idea.

I agree to all that BUT as Dollywood looks to expand and extend their market reach and does so with a 50 million dollar dark ride hybrid, the disparity between the two becomes even more apparent. AND as their reach goes beyond the generational customers that have been coming to the park for decades and looks to connect with a whole new to Dollywood customer, I think they have to either close the quality gap by doing what they did with the original version of this attraction at SilverDollarCity, or provide more historical context for the ride. I was hoping when they did the renovation, they would’ve added some of that in so a “new to the experience “ customer would grasp the reason it is as hokey as it is. I’ve taken quite a few friends on it that have been very “what the hell did I just ride” when they get off, and not in a great way.

I had a nightmare once about a looping wooden hyper coaster. Terrifying.

I have a cool one, so hear me out on this. Cincinnati, Ohio is home to the 1st professional and paid Fire Department. Why not retheme BLSC to a fire-fighter theme? Repaint all the trains red or have them all be tiny little fire trucks. Repaint the shipping containers next to the launch and the helix structure with a brick texture to look like a firehouse. Change the billboards to reflect Cincinnati highway signs. They could keep the fire scene and make it look like you're driving through the burning building (the inside of the tunnel could have red lights. Riders then escape the building and return to the station. They could keep the helicopter- just remove the shooting aspect and repaint it to look like an EMS helicopter. @DonHelbig @Kyle Kruthoffer I know you all come up with your own theming ideas for your rides but this would be a cool way to pay homage to Cincinnati's somewhat forgotten fire fighter heritage.
