I think we all know what he means but just don’t agree on the premise. Especially with Steel Vengeance. I don’t know what it is costing but all that work, new wood and steel can’t be cheap, probably $20+ million. I would be really surprised if CP is planning some $30+ million monster coaster for 2020.

Trees would be nice, but that is not really CF’s style. I like the idea of flats but it takes a lot of them and staff to eat people. Octopuss rides like Monster are my earliest memory of rides as a kid and love them. However, at least the way KI operates them it is just such a ridiculously long wait. Last season on a rather slow day there was no line and it still took nearly half an hour for Kiefer to load, ride and unload.

A spinning wild mouse for a kids area? Granted the only one I have been on is Pandemonium at SFSTL but that is not what I would consider a kids coaster. Given the waits I hear about back there I think expansion would be a smart move. Maybe even before a Giga.

Given the Freestyles were pulled from Island Smokehouse and there is a Freestyle stand close by I wouldn’t hold my breath for that, but one can hope. I suspect with all the choices they just back the lines up to much. Just meat and vegetables is all I can have. Smoked asparagus is really good but I know that’s not happening. A salad with something more than a tomato wedge would be nice but am resigned to it just being a snack shack for me. Will be really disappointed if it is just gourmet mac and cheese.

Well you can join me and just hate on teams! I am starting to think this is better than being a fan, there are just so many to choose from. Patriots (of course) Cowboys (obnoxious fans) Rams (ownership) Raiders (the “gang” team) Eagles, Chiefs (Vick) Havent developed a hatred for the Steelers yet but maybe you guys could help me out with that.

Interesting that CP is still able to maintain their Von Roll 38 years later with little apparent difficulty. Has better uptime than WindSeeker as well. I loved the one at SFSTL as a kid and always ride it at CP at least once.

So it is the stack that determines if a coaster is classified as wood? If coaster used steel bents but used topper track would you still consider it a woodie?
