  1. Dude, I have some bad news for you. It is March 31st, I think you overslept.
  2. It rained yesterday the whole trip back from Sandusky. Nothing like 2 lane country roads in the rain.
  3. Took the boys up to Kalahari today using some of our Black Friday vouchers. No falling debris.
  4. I dont recall seeing the auction part in that piece. What is the source for that? (Not that I disagree they are probably done for)
  5. Just think about all the protein spills that thing could induce!
  6. Red #40 is produced from a petroleum distillates, not insects.
  7. Artificial food dyes are made from petro chemicals. The park freely admits they add them to Blue Ice Cream. Chef Nate admitted on Twitter they use the same dyes in Blue Hot Chocolate. There are natural alternatives, but are not as profitable.
  8. I already stated that. Petro chemicals. (Hydrocarbons) (artificial food dyes) My son can have eat one Starbrite, a few M&Ms or Skittles, even Blue Ice Cream and have buzzing in his head for three days and accomplish nothing at school. Permanent Damage? The Food Lobby will not allow the FDA to conduct true scientific tests on that.
  9. I suppose them my wife feed our children perspiration for six months. Mammary gland secretions are a far cry from toxic chemicals.
  10. Ahh. Colored with petro chemical hydrocarbon based by products. Innovative indeed. <
  11. It may be. But why is this great news? Island Smokehouse was a success in my mind but the post above me lists 11 complete failures.
  12. Agreed. Now if we can just get them to serve Atomic Buffalo Turds (on the meal plan of course) I will grant them a Royal Pardon for all their other failures.
  13. Maybe, but not if they use the same system deployed the past year at CP as it is a total mess and can’t handle meal and drink plans properly.
  14. Interesting because I have much less trouble at CP than KI in general. The quality is equally poor at both with a few exceptions. Though the ordering kiosks at Frontier and Coasters cannot seem to deal with the meal plan and drink plan in the same order. Besides slow service try this one: Chicken Shack in Action Zone, order a chicken salad. Two full sized chicken strips just laid on top of a bed of lettuce. “Can I have a knife please?” “No, we don’t have those.” Also all the condiment dispensers were empty on both sides and no napkins available. But always the optimist, I did purchase three meal plans again this year.
  15. You know how to fix that? Refuse to pull forward and just roll up your window until they show up with bags. I don’t actually find it necessary to do that anymore but years ago there was a McDonalds I went to before work on Sunday mornings that would leave me stranded out there consistently. It fixed the problem.
  16. We do pay premium prices at KI and the quality at Burger King far, far surpasses anything at KI. Same with Redbox. I think that is why the Freestyles were pulled from Island Smokehouse.
  17. Agreed. Schlitterbahn tells us all we need to know about cutting corners.
  18. “OMG it still works! I can’t beleive it!”
  19. Goble, While I agree register staffing is an issue it is hardly the sole issue I have experienced regarding speed of delivery. Training and attitude are major issues as well as an overly complex POS system.
  20. Steel is unlikely to get cheaper anytime soon as well.
  21. Weird. I drilled down to it from the homepage and copied the link from there and was identical but didn’t work from the forum. So if anyone wants to see it drill down from the main Costco page under gift cards. Universal, Legoland and a bunch of other tickets are there. This is the first Season Pass I have seen. The price is $79.99 which is $14 less than what is posted on the CF site. I just find it interesting that CGA is being sold through Costco but none of the other CF parks. Would be nice Costco started selling Platinum Passes at a discount. Copypasta some details: Gold Season Pass Benefits: Free Parking Admission to Gilroy Gardens Admission to Halloween Haunt and WinterFest Early Ride Time on selected dates 20% off Food and Merchandise* * Some restrictions applyBlackout Dates: Friday June 22, Wednesday June 27 and Wednesday August 8 When you purchase a California's Great America Gold Season Pass, an eVoucher will be emailed to you normally within the hour. Please make sure that you double-check your email address when you place your order. How to Redeem: Bring your printed eVoucher directly to the front gate turnstiles for first admission Proceed directly to Season Pass Processing Center to exchange for ID card Must be exchanged to a pass on first visit
  22. Interesting just got an email from Costco and they are now selling CGA Gold Passes. (Direct link doesn’t work for some reason)
  23. Hope the dinning plan options just have not been updated but the Island Smokehouse offerings currently are only the chicken tenders and shrimp.
