I don’t think KI charges tax. CP does if you don’t buy on the tax free day they have. (They had one last spring) I guess the way to know for sure is run through the purchase process and back out right before the final commit. Another thing to consider, does your CC charge something for the currency conversion? Any international purchases I make are usually through PayPal. Maybe @stashua123 knows more about this with all his training?

What were the available sides?

I don’t know if I can make it back to KI before late May but I was a bit surprised Congo and RFYLCB were open as well. CP doesn’t open any water rides until Memorial Day Weekend. Anyone know when WWC opens? We stopped by Bat sometime around 8:30-9:00 and it has been running but then a train was stuck about halfway out of the station and they couldn’t get it to dispatch. Give up after 5 minutes of that. I did see WindSeeker operating once but only after I moved far away from it.

It has been discussed here before. One of the main drawbacks in the past was the Home Park issue. If you lost a pass it could only be replaced at your Home Park. That restriction might not exist anymore as I have had passes replaced and forced replaced a couple of times at KI and CP. There is also the issue of taxes as I beleive they are higher in Cad so the savings might not be as large as it appears.

Yes, FP Kiosk was doing the same for us at Dback and Beast. Attendant at Beast told us our account was fine and the kiosk was acting up all night. Worked fine at Banshee.

Real enforcement would involve setting the phone down on the track and starting the lift back up.

Initially yes. More are usually announced as they deem necessary, particularly later in August I beleive.

From what I have heard CF is meticulous about ride counts and it is harder to keep track with rerides.

We hit I Street about 9:45 so we had no problems at all getting out.

That is not bashing. Valid criticism is allowed.

Suffice it to say it is probably less than similar items at Gordon Food Service but more than what Wendy’s pays.

@robintodd You make some good points about potential problems. I always try and bring the paper receipt the first time I go for the season, just in case. No software is perfect and that is certainly true with the CF systems. Also keep in mind officially the photos are supposed to only stay on your account for 30 days after the end of the season. Although my 2016 photos are still on there. Just be safe and download the zip file every once and while.

Should cross post this in the bucket list thread as welI. I was thinking about this the other day and decided to make it my goal this season to identify at least one exceptional or at least positive employee experience each visit and take a few minutes to send a quick email to GS. Particularly focusing on food services.

How do you keep track of it Chris? App, spreadsheet, notes? I will have 3 so thinking of using Numbers on the iPhone.

Not that I would ever support the establishment by eating there but will be interesting to see what CP does since Chic-Fil-A is back this year. Confess we do eat a Midway Market a couple times a year. I know the meal plan saves us money over purchasing full meals each time we visit but certainly plan on keeping track this year on the number of times we actually use the plan AND if the boys would have been fine with a cheaper snack like a pretzel or ice cream versus a full meal. It is possible the savings are not really all that much compared to having the flexibility of having the entire menu available to us.

Actually get a refill at Rivertown Freestyle.

Just take my kids sometime. They will let you have whatever you want just so they don’t have to deal with you anymore. But you have to take both. They are really wonderful pleasant human beings as long is there is 100 yards or more between them.

You are probably right Magenta but I know I got the cornbread stuffing And fries one time. May have gone like this however: Me: I will have the shrimp and fries Server: Anything else? Me: I can have another side? Sever: Sure. Me: Ok. I will try that cornbread stuff. Then hands cashier my passes, and they don’t bother to try and charge for the extra side becuase I look mean and scary after dealing with my kids all day.

I beleive it was officially one side but they seemed to offer you two at least most of the times I went. The brisket wasn’t official on the meal plan but you could get it. Completely agree on Panda but I figured that was comming at some point as that was a lot of food. I wouldn’t be surprised if next year it is cut to 1 slice of pizza like at CP. Most interested in finding out if we actually get 1/2 or 1/4 chicken at Coney BBQ. Though what they end up serving could be 1/2 of small chickens. 1/4 chickens would be complicated becuase it is unlikely customers will choose sections 50/50. More important than the specifics on food quantity, are both food quality and service.

Best B&M collection?

Viewed in isolation I honestly think the 2 at KI beat the 4 at CP. -
@silver2005It took you 64 pages to figure this out?

My wife is celiac but I am not. But I have weight and blood sugar issues and if I want to control them without meds I need to eat low carb (like 20g/day) and if I want to lose weight need to lower the fat content down, that only leaves lean protein and some vegetables. Corn and bread is out and while cabbage is ok, generally slaw dressing has sugar and/or fat. Sugar is what I really must stay away from and just vary my fats level depending on how how strict I want to be.
