Maybe things have changed this year but I doubt the chicken tenders are any different than the half dozen other places in the park. Coney Potato Works were the only ones I noticed as unique in the past.
-
It is possibly good, but you know it isn’t going to be that good to justify a long wait if there are other options.

Pull up KI on Google Maps. Timberwolf would take up a small corner of the parking lot. Maybe the mega church across the road would even be will to help with overflow parking. June probably is preferable as there are likely many that attend both festivals. The parking lot would be fine, not many people sit at concerts anyway. This is a bit nit picky but summer starts on June 21st the same day as Spirit Song, so it is held in the Begining of summer not the middle. With that said, how many parks have removed their amphitheater even though they are used only once or twice a year? I think they will work around it like most other parks have.

Trashy but not this trashy? Lol. Lets see, a serious or at least semi-serious list. Actually ride WindSeeker this year. Maybe coordinate with @VortexBFForever to distract it so I can sneak up on it before it sees me and goes down. For some reason didn’t ride WWC even once last year and I love this rapids rides. Come to think of it we didn’t ride RFYLCB either last year. Have not done Scrambler here yet. Surf Dog, we never make it over there. Have not seen a Cirque show. See the dog show. Try the surf thing at SC, still kind of concerned about an injury. I do have to drive 90 miles home. Try all the offerings at Coney BBQ of course. Let my kids win on Boo Blasters (once) Make it to Haunt this year, but that is tough with it being prime Scouting season as well. Of course make it to Winterfest at least once. Maybe ride Invertigo? Never been on it and any other boomerang was just uncomfortable and boring. Maybe ride Congo if I am already wet. I don’t think I have stood on the bridge of one of those since I was a kid. Bring a roll of quarters for the water cannons! Night ride on Beast has to happen this year. Even if I have to leave the kids at home and drive down some evening. Get my kids to ride Xtreme Skyflyer without freaking out half way up. (What is that called? “The Lowering of Shame”?) Do not eat a Funnel Cake. Drink a few beers some time and ride a coaster. Never done that.

That place is always weird for me. Either it has no line and all we want is a drink or we want food and the line is spilling out the door halfway across the midway. Probably has something to do the my WindSeeker curse.

CP holds Point Fest after Cedar Point Shores closes in September and sets up a stage in the CPS parking lot. KI could theoretically do the same.
-
And use the test seat as a bench to rest your feet. Also ask the ride op if this thing goes upside down becuase you get really sick when you go upside down. Shrug and get in line anyway.

I forgot the most important. Stop in the middle of the path between Action Zone and Oktoberfest and hold a family meeting. Discuss the order of rides we will follow when we get there, who needs to stop at the restroom, and tell your youngest child that you know he is hungry and no he cannot get a pretzel and will just have to wait for another hour until the cool down on his meal plan is over. If he had just eaten that last chicken strip a few hours ago like you told him to, he wouldn’t be in this prediciment. If he doesn’t like it we head to the parking lot and go home Right Now! (Bring double wide stroller for maximum effect)

It’s not silly, it’s just sloppy of the park to not have had FunPix change it.
-
There is a special place in.....well you get the idea. In light of clarification I rescind this statement.
-
10? More like 27.
-
The more things change the more they stay the same.
-
That’s funny.

And CP does allow waist packs, I assume they are the same thing. From CP loose article policy. “All loose items not able to be stored in cargo pockets or waist packs must be left in a locker or with a non-rider prior to entering the line.”
-
Anything less than 3 beers is just a waste of calories. That is why I only drink beer a few times a year. Funny becuase over on pointbuzz there is always a crowd complaining they don’t allow rerides. Personally I need to take a short break.
-
Good thing they don’t have an All Season Beer Plan, mistakes like that could cause some problems.
-
@malem you couldn’t pull it up on your phone searching noreply@accesso.com? Or would they not accept the emailed version of the receipt?
-
Well Brad the easy fix is to get your non passholding child a pass. Help fund the Giga! Is your daughter old enough now to roam unsupervised?
-
@harveyhaddixfan Yes CP does, the forms/colors are different but it all works the same.

@harmony29 @TheRicksterFor those with mobility/exposure issues The Beast and Bat are kind of a problem becuase if the long distance to get your ride time. Fortunately, the guest with the green sheet is not required to be present to obtain the ride time so if another guest in the party does not have mobility issues they can obtain the time, even a child. They do absolutely need to be present when comming back for the ride however. Of course ride times can be obtained at the entrance for any ride that has a “Greeter” (not sure of official designation). Less of a problem at CP becuase almost all coasters have a greeter that I recall except for Raptor in the afternoons/evening when the line is negligible.

Keep in mind the digital file you receive is 300dpi, but printing at the park or ordering online is at 600dpi so much better quality if you are want to display it. Which I have never done.

Especially at the beginning of the season some of the ride ops are not familiar with the system and how to handle it properly, but usually a more experienced team member can get it sorted out. There are at least a couple of different types of boarding passes with some used less frequently. Have patience, they are trying to work quickly and sometimes get confused about the specific procedures of your boarding pass. Usually it is the young team members still in training and working the exit gate. Maybe one of the employees here can suggest what you should say to an an associate that not handling it properly. I have just tried to explain it quickly and ask them to check with their team lead.
-
But what if they are going with Commando and painted all the heavy equipment in camouflage? I also question your super human ability to stare at one specific plot of land the whole time being locked in restraints traveling 360 degrees.

My boys have autism and we use the boarding pass if the line is over 20 minutes or so. I am not passing judgement on you @harmony29 but we do not request front row unless it is a relatively slow day. We only take it if it is offered to us. We have been offered it in the past and told the wait will be a bit longer. Although we may have opted for that a few times we generally just take whatever the ride op assignes. Front row is not all that important to my boys and there are plenty of days we go when they are easy to get. (Besides back row is generally better) My advise is request front row if it is important to you but accept a possible longer wait for it and the ire of of those waiting. As far as the loudmouths that get upset. Do not engage and do not make eye contact as it serves no purpose. Look forward and to the right and enjoy your ride.
