Outsourcing may or may not be the solution or even part of it. However my experience with food trucks at Scouting events is they are not any faster at dealing with a large line than the typical short staffed CF food stand.

What this piece doesn't address is can CF still maintain the revenue and margins by using outside vendors. I suspect not. Investors are not going to be happy with say a 10% or so decline in profits.

Many of us complain about the lack of health food options, so I would really like to see an establishment open with a health focus. Burgers are always a popular choice and I think an establishment focused around this product is something nearly everyone could get behind.

I think a grilled cheese sandwich topped with a mound of chili sounds very Guy Fieri and probably pretty awesome. I couldn't eat it for health reasons but if I was younger I would.

I predict at any given moment during operation hours the dregs of our society will be lined up at least 20 deep at Guest Services to complain that they can't get a free thin paper cup and free scalding hot refills to hand to their children because they paid $30 back in June. I also predict First Aid will be deluged by mobs of children complaining of a "fuzzy" tongue.

This is going to be a major, major challenge for food services. SFSTL had huge problems with this as the evenings progressed and the temps fell. My hope is they don't way underestimate demand for the refills and have to few stations and long lines. It takes time to heat large quantities of water. This will be a hit, every kid will have one and if they can't get them filled in a timely manner everyone will not be having the Best Day Ever.

I think this was around 10 years ago in Omaha my wife's radio station was in Christmas music battle with a competitor and the first station to go Christmas music usually got an advantage in ratings and ad buys. Each year they tried to get the jump on each other and it got insane. I think she started mid October one year. Regarding that protester. I really hope that is a good photoshop job but you never know.

I did get one of those $35 projectors last year. Easy button. I have gotten to lazy the past couple of years to spend a whole weekend testing lights and getting on a ladder.

There is big fake boat in KY that might want to add to their collection of Dinosaurs. They do need two of every kind.

Any word if MT will run 3 trains? I kind of doubt that but maybe because it is new the off season maintenance is minimal. A bit disappointed in the coaster lineup but not really surprised. Figured CF would be more conservative than SIX. I just hope we have free time to make a trip.

Last year my youngest was 11 and he was fine with it all and thought all the "gross" stuff was really funny. Not so sure he would have been fine with it at 10 however. His first introduction was at CP however (with Malem btw) and while the mazes are somewhat similar, the general atmosphere on the midways is not as dramatic as KI with all the fog machines. If you do take kids prepare yourself ahead of time that they may not like it and want to leave. You must be fine with that. With a group of kids it maybe helpful to have handheld electronics available to occupy to ones that are turned off so the others can continue on.

This will not likely be a popular position but I think $500 for all season is WAY to cheap. $1000 minimum IMO.

While the brand is accessible to kids I always felt Peanuts was really geared more to adults, at least the comic strip. Snoopy is the only character kids seem to care about.

I suppose height and body type make a difference. Despite Vortex beating the hell out of my youngest who will never ride it again, in a moment of temporary insanity I took a spin on it last month. My head sticks out above the restraints so there was no headbanging for me and that is the most important part. It was rough side to side and my neck was just slightly sore from it but not really bad. Had I ridden it in my 20's and 30's when I had neck issues I probably would have been in a world of hurt.
