Coronavirus Impacting Theme Parks

Are the loops too long? My oldest has a small head and has that problem. He was able to shorten the loops by tying a knot at the end. -

Not sure Shawn but they might and also have Peanut Characters and all sorts of things. The limitation may be on getting them printed and shipped in time. They could even have something like this so those displeased with the mask rules can express themselves in a non-violent manner. I found the one I want. -

That is true, but I would think that strategy would get rather expensive and time consuming under Ohio Revised Code 1711.551 with the penalties defined under Ohio Revised Code 1711.99 FastLane+ would be much cheaper. -

lol. You still don't get it do you? Imprisoning people in a ride restraint is a joke, do you seriously think that would even be legal? Even BJ laughed at it. Good grief. Lighten up dude. -

There you go. Wouldn’t even have to slow down operations much. Bonus rerides until the Mason Police show up and cuff you right in the seat. With all the court costs and fines the perps would have to pay this could go a long way to making up the budget shortfall Mason and the county are facing. Win-win. -

He could have refused to leave and Costco would just refund his membership on the spot and called the Police for trespassing as he was no longer a member. As many on here like to point out frequently, read the fine print on your Passholder agreement. CF could do something very similar. True, until the train arrives back in the station. Question for ride-ops. When releasing the restraints do all of them have to be released or can it be done selectively? Edit: Here is another tactic to encourage compliance. "Failure to wear a face cover may result in the forfeiture of all reserved ride times on our Virtual Queue System*" *If you choose to act like a juvenile we will treat you like one. -

I suppose Drop Tower would work as well. “When you are ready to put on your mask you can come down!” -

I don’t think any brutality should be necessary at all. If it is a situation where the guest becomes belligerent Mason Police can properly handle the situation. In the meantime security could shadow the perps and temporarily pause any services they attempt to utilize in the park. Now if I was feeling devious offering them a zen ride on Banshee and then stoping the train on the lift might be a non-violent way of deescalating the situation until the Police can arrive. -

I take it then you would not inform any park personnel then. Fair enough, your choice. Taking a dump in the fountain is against the rules it just so happens to be one you agree with. If you don’t like the rules....don’t attend. -

That would depend on what the rules are, they have not been announced yet. Would I throw a fit? No. Would I inform the appropriate park personnel? Of course, wouldn't you? If you encountered a guest taking a dump in the fountain would you just walk on by or would you let someone know about it? Not saying you would have some responsibility, just wondering what you would do. -

I go to Costco a couple of times a week. Never had any problems there and from what I have seen on Twitter Costco employees have no problem asking rule breakers to leave the premises. They may even revoke their memberships, not sure about that though. -

So can I just decline to fasten my seat belt on The Beast because it is just another unnecessary safety measure I don’t happen to agree with? -

Well I don’t think the NYPD is interested in answering my questions on employee responsibilities at Kings Island. But you could answer the question. -

I would think the park would give priority for reservations to Passholders initially before selling daily tickets as some other parks have done. Consecutive Day reservations might be an issue, hopefully not, but I could see it. -

Knowing CF they will charge $2 for the privilege, unless you purchase the All-Season Face Mask Rest Área Plan for $49. -

29% of a bit over 100k is around 30k, again so far this year. I think you would agree that 29% is going to well top that 36,120 number by the end of the year. -

This is the second time this false argument has been made in this thread. NHTSA estimates 36,120 traffic fatalities in the US for 2019. How many COVID-19 deaths have we had so far this year? https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-traffic-fatalities/u-s-traffic-deaths-fell-in-2019-for-third-straight-year-idUSKBN22H1OF So we agree then? Since the park does not enforce the rules, they should not have them. -

If there are no consequences for not following a rule it makes no sense to have the rule. -
