I live in Cincy and make the drive to CP and back in the same day.

I believe they could prob. get an impluse coaster built in 3 months,

I went to Geauga Lake the year it closed on my way to Cedar Point. They charged me and extra $5 to park for driving a SUV. While I had fun there I was able to ride all the rides and rode Dominator about 10 times before we left and we only stayed until about 3:00 on a nice weather Saturday. We ended up going to CP later in the day and our passes said we were all ready in the park.

I actually bought a season pass to Kentucky Kingdom the year it close I think it was $35 the price of a parking pass at KI. Sadly I never got the chance to use it there but it came in handy for other six flags parks.

Thats ok by me there are many areas that need sprucing up.

Two different class of coastsrs can't compare them.

with the price of steel i doubt we will see a 500ft tall coaster any time soon.

I usually go on the very first one or two nights the haunt is open and on Fridays the park is pretty empty.

The 1st will be packed I would expect 60-80 minute lines for the roller coasters and longer for the haunts. The 2nd you'll be able to walk on just about every ride.

Well I dont ever go to the waterpark an expansion is something that it really needs.

Last year when I went on Fridays I had walk-ons and other Friday visits I had 30 minute waits.

Its cost money to break records. As the price of steel rises so will the cost of the coaster. MF @ CP was 25 million to build and Diamondback 9 years later was 22-23million and MF is much much larger.

Dont they make coolers that are able to lock. Its a sad day in age where if you plan on keeping it you better lock it up.

Impossible to say how long the lines will be. If your there for 6 hours only and are from NY I would get a fast pass.

I have stayed at Breakers Express and Castaway Bay. I liked both but neither of them were on the property. I found those to be overly expensive.

I would guess about same as your weekend maybe slightly less.

I dont really care for the fireworks at Kings Island but I guess its kind of a tradition for them. Do they still shut down The Beast this year?
