I think this ride has stired up alot of exciment as is.

Thats at Cedar Point and not Kings Island. There was no cam for Firehawk.

Since this is going to the one of the parks most impresive rides coming next year I thought it would be cool to make a building of slideshow. We could desginate a point to take a picture of the 09 ride contrustcion. Say the top of the effiel tower. Have a member any member take a picture from that point every day and we could have a building of slideshow. I am not sure how it would work in the off season though.

I wasnt there but I can tell you it was probaly crowded. Mid-summer at a themepark.

This is an easy one. B&M stand ups. May more invovative and a trick track on King Cobra was just a bad idea.

i would say at least 12 but there really shouldn't be a set age just depends on how mature the child is./

I have to argree that the life guards that Khalari has are horrible. Half the time they arent watching what is going on. I saw one account of them being unsafe in the Flow Rider by tossing there boards up the wave and almost hitting a person waiting there turn. The life guards at this attraction I left were the worst of them all. Most of the time they were surfing on the flow rider for 10-15 minutes at a time while a huge line built up behind them. The hotel and waterpark are nice but the waterpark def. needs some better staffing.

Right now is a bad time for the amusment park business just take a look at how much new rides are being built. Rides don't seem to be earth shattering anymore. In the 80's and 90's it seemed like every year there would be something some where that is just remarkable. Now many seasonal parks are having rough times getting people to spend money in the park so they look to for cheaper ideas suchs as sprucing up the area (which is always needed) cheaper rides just as flat rides, small compact coasters like invertago, the days of a new mega record breaking coaster almost every year are done with for now. It will take some time for the economy to get back on its feet but in another year or two I think things will be looking better for the entire country.

Is that why it was so rough?

This is a great deal but still the park is making tons of money from this. If you get 5 pops the pop proably cost about a nickel or a dime to make so they are spending .10 and you are spending $7. There is alot of money to made in soft drinks.

Im not going to the park until next saturday. I got school, work and paintball all this week.

Wow what a great deal. I usually get 2 drinks while I am at the park and those cost around $8-$9

4,200 feet is short for a hyper coaster.

Why not just move the fireworks site?

I beleive they make you check the pocket knife at GR and you have to get it as you leave the park. At least that was the case a few years ago.

I know but how close is that to the other parks?

If there was a contract made how do you know that it wasn't and adjustable contract to flux with the price of steel or were you there when they made the deal?
