^ I think Firehawk was the wrong move for KI or at least running it with only two trains. While I liek the ride the loading of the ride is so horribly slow. It might have worked better in a smaller Cedar Fair park.

I kinda of feel that Cedar Fair has save the park. If the last few years Paramount owned Kings Island I really feel like they just didn't care about the parks. They cheaped out on new rides and the parks just seemed dirty to me. Cedar Fair has done a great job at adding a mix of new rides (family, thrill and expanding the water park). They have also brought in the season dinning pass which my family loves. I can't wait to see what the next 10 years brings.

I am sure the train will not blow its whistle when the track is overhead.

Just got home from the park. Didnt ride much or eat much but I thought the park handled the crowds really well today

Do these get built piece by piece on site or do the sections come trucked in?

I'll be taking my 3 year old Sunday. Just bracing for the crowds now. Not sure how long we will last at the park though.

New coasters in North America at least is going to be slim pickings. So far I'm still most excited about Mystic Timbers. A down year for new coasters next year so far.

So is Winterfest coming at the end of this season or next?

AFter going to Winterfest in 2005 I think Im not that excited about this at all other than being able to see Mystic Timbers.

I have not but I would like to see if anyone has experience as well.

Delirium has had alot of what I call extra downtime in past years.

I like the ride but I find the slow moving line annoying so I hardly ever ride it.

Pretty pricey if you ask me.

I'm not like most people here. I find The Beast a pretty boring roller coaster. However, I hope it never goes away since the ride is so historical.

I found my-self wondering the same thing. WE have the dining plan this season so I never really ate at the park but the healthy options just aren't there. Subway is still processed lunch meat so I dont consider that healthy.

If I had to guess I would say its a drop track?

I would say absolutely not. It is still the same place weather you live 5 minutes or 5 hours away. This year was my first year taking my 3 year old to the park and while sometimes I get a ride or two in; it has really opened me up to what else other than the big roller coasters and flat rides the park has. Now I'm looking at the landscaping the park has done an awesome job on, some of the shows, and just the general atmosphere things I never really cared about in the past.

Tattoos really dont bother me but the foul language and smoking is something else when I have my three year old who soaks in every little bit of information in.

Just all depends. Its nearly impossible to predict the crowds. If your worried about waiting in line stash the extra money and buy a fast pass when you get to the park based on the crowds. I find though on my two must rides (Banshee and Diamondback) the capcity is great and even on crowed days the line doesnt seem to get over 30-45 minutes.

I beleive it was either 1996 or 1997. If I memory is correct I think it was around the entrance to The Racer.

I'm 6'3 and 225 pounds. I have no issue getting on any of the rides but some of them are tight. At the end of the day its just how you are built and where you carry your weight. The best thing to do is just go and sit in the test seats.
