Yeah, Sundays in October used to be my fav day to go. This year I have been twice on Sunday's and it has been packed. Heading up next Sunday as well though. maybe is has to do with the slumping Bengals?

I was just thinking about The Beast and all of the straight track and how much fun that ride is at night. With all the hills and low lying moments Mystic Timbers has this is likely going to be my go to night ride! Can't wait to get through the holidays and start the final countdown!

We were "new" to the dining pass this year and we were able to use it the year before. I don't think your supposed to though.

Its really a bummer that Tom and Chee isn't on the meal this year. I asked about it, and they said hopefully next year!

I used to think Cedar Point was better in almost every way but ever since the KI has added Banshee the park just seems more complete to me. I would much rather take a day to go Kings Island than Cedar Point.

I am about 6'2 and float between 225-240 pounds depending on where I am at on my exercising and dieting. I have never had any issues fitting on any roller coaster.

Yes, its still in Soak City. We took our three year old there and he loved it! While he was a little nervous about doing the bubbles he really liked everything else. I think the park did an amazing job on this! Even only charging $1.00 for a pony ride and having some cheap carnival style games the kids can play.

Yea, I have done SFGAM in a day and we are not too sure about doing that again. We could stay in a hotel but would rather not. Things on the East Coast we didn't want to risk because of the hurricane.

My wife and I are looking to visit a theme park this coming weekend. We don't want to do KI, CP, Holiday World or Dollywood. What else would be within a 4 or 5 hour drive from the i275 loop that we could visit?

Has anyone used the dining plan here? What do you get with it?

I don't think he was asking if they should he was just wondering if you would like it. Firehawk is just fine for what it is.

I actually usually fill my cup with water. I can't drink pop hardly any more. Every once in a while I might get an urge to drink a Mountain Dew. Anyway the hole bar code thing may not even work since they dont scan them 3/4 of the time at the restraunts. At least in my experience. I think the best way is to put it on the season pass. Scan the pass; get a paper cup, get your drink.

I my-self usually will spend the extra few minutes. Up to and extra 5 or 6 trains for the front seat on most out door coasters.

Actually, it would be even nicer to have them entirely on your pass and not even have a cup. Flash your pass get a paper cup, fill, enjoy, and then simply throw away.

Do you take the extra time to ride in the front seat? If so what is the maximum extra wait time will you wait?

Problem is with a Sharpie it doesnt really matter to who the person who stole it. Chances are you will never see them again. This is very disapointing that this goes on. I have pictures of the barcode on my just in-case the do get stolen.

Saw this on my visit Friday. Pretty sweet. I thought about going up the tower to see what it looked like from up there but it appeared to be having trouble with them at the time.

^ I think Firehawk was the wrong move for KI or at least running it with only two trains. While I liek the ride the loading of the ride is so horribly slow. It might have worked better in a smaller Cedar Fair park.

I kinda of feel that Cedar Fair has save the park. If the last few years Paramount owned Kings Island I really feel like they just didn't care about the parks. They cheaped out on new rides and the parks just seemed dirty to me. Cedar Fair has done a great job at adding a mix of new rides (family, thrill and expanding the water park). They have also brought in the season dinning pass which my family loves. I can't wait to see what the next 10 years brings.

I am sure the train will not blow its whistle when the track is overhead.

Just got home from the park. Didnt ride much or eat much but I thought the park handled the crowds really well today
