I also wrote a complaint to the park and just got the standard response. If I paid for single day ticket and waited the long for my waitress to come back I would have been really upset. There is no reason for it to take 8-10 minutes to take an ice cream cone order. Have one person taking the food orders and the other running and getting the cones. Its not that hard.

Its just such a shame because I love spending extra money because I feel it provides good entertainment for my family and its a great boost to the local economy. But when your waiting 45 mintues with a crying three year for an ice cream cone it makes it impossible. There have been cases this year I got a fresh hot pizza and by the time I was able to pay for it, the pizza was already cold. Its not just bad service its downright horrible.

I don't think we will be going to the Reds Hall of Fame Grill anymore.

First off I went to Kings Island yesterday for the 5th time this year. What is with the food service this year? Slow staff, super long lines, and they seem understaffed and under trained. We waited last week for 45 minutes for some ice cream. Just insane. I would be more inclinced to spend money on the smaller treats inside the park if I didnt have to wait longer to get than I do for most rides. We went to the Reds Hall of Fame Grill yesterday and got seated promptly. Our all season long refill cup can't be filled up here? What the heck! Okay, so we just ordered water. Got our hamburger and fries which we paid the upcharge for. The hamburger was overcooked and super dry to start with and then we finished eating. We where there for about an hour and only checked on when the waitress brought us our food and to take order. She dropped of the check the same time she brought the food out. We were going to leave a nice tip anyways for her however after sitting there for 90 minutes she never came back. We just left the $5.00 to cover our bill cause that is all the cash we had and we didnt want to wait any longer to get our card back.

This sounds awesome but ouch its very pricey. Maybe after the wedding stuff settles down I will get a chance to go.

I just wonder how old this person was? Its ashame that people can't bother following rules any more and then file a law suite when they are injured or worse because they didnt follow the rules.

Not a comment on the park operations but we were at the park Sunday in line for Skyline right before it started to rain. Then it down poured. Guest came in and flocked in the skyline and sat at tables not eating. While, paying customers couldn't find a seat to eat at because of this. Downright rude if you ask me!

I am not a fan of shows in the festhaus. Nothing like trying to hold a coverstation while eating when a show comes on.

I thought the parking was confusing and they funneled everyone to a single lane backing everything up and they didn't have lane markers painted so everyone was driving where they felt like it. Food service was down right horrible took forever even to just get a refill. I hope this improves.

The same thing has happened to me. I guess the average person wasn't as tall when they built The Beast.

I have been to the Six Flags in Chicago. I live in Cincinnati and made the 6 hour drive to park. Rode all the rides and drove back in the same day. Oh, to be 21 again. I dont think I could that now though. I thought the park was laid out strange and the line for Superman Ultimate Flight took for ever!

I am kind of bummed that the south entrance is gone. Going to be strange going to the North entrance.

Is the south entrance closed?

OUr three year old love the Boo Blasters ride expect he calls is Scooby Ride. Its one of the main reasons we actually renewed our pass. Its all he has been talking about over the winter. "Daddy, when can we go ride Scooby Ride?" He is ready for Saturday!

Seems pricey for what you get.

I think we are going to give the Banshee Brew a try this year. Doesn't seem like a bad deal and its cheaper to try new beers this way than paying for a six pack at the store and not liking it.

How much are the beers at the Banshee Brew Fest?

Problem is with Kings Island at least they have no clue what the polices even are. When I got my dining pass this year for last year they said i could use it for my free 2015 visit. We used it actually at two places without problem. The card didnt scan but they cashier said not worry about. When I went to get dinner at Reds Hall of Fame they said we couldn't use it yet even though we used it previsously. After explaining our situation the manager comped our meal anyway even though he wasn't supposed to.

We purchased "new" passes last year but didnt renew. Would we still be able to go?

You can buy a season pass at any time.

I usually make the drive to that area 4 times a years and I plan my arrival and departure times based on how the traffic is. Its that bad!

Everytime I have been to the park and I go pretty often this ride has been closed. This doesn't surprise me one bit.
