  1. The School of Rock I'm apart of in Mason is going to be cancelling weekly rehearsals for all their upcoming spring show season shows for the next two weeks.
  2. New post from F5 coasters on Facebook! https://m.facebook.com/f5coasters/photos/a.794156547686503/903731163395707/?type=3
  3. I don't know. I'm guessing a lot of people like to go on the beach later to be able to watch the sunset imo.
  4. I honestly think a Nationwide lockdown would be extremely difficult to enforce in a very large country like the United States. Just my opinion.
  5. I definitely think that is the case. I was doing a countdown to my first ride on my Instagram story and decided to put a half to that because of this situation.
  6. Hopefully we can still have this event. If not, I still think everyone should still try and raise money since it is for a good cause. Hopefully if they have to do something with the event, they at least postpone it to be held around the new opening (if they do postpone opening day).
  7. Someone did warn that things could last up to 8 weeks or more. Hopefully this isn't an entire year shutdown.
  8. I'm bowling at Eastgate Lanes and they have these really cool glow fans in the place. I know it won't happen, but it would've been really cool if they put these in the station of Orion!
  9. Multiple bands are already postponing April shows as well. Tbh I think we might be looking at a May or June opening atm.
  10. This drone guy on YouTube is putting up tons of flyover videos of Kings Island. There are some that go over Orion, as well as near The Beast, and Diamondback, as well as the old Vortex plot of land. I won't be posting them here because of the rules on here about those.
  11. Don't college semesters end much earlier than k-12 though?
  12. All k-12 schools in Ohio are required to be out for 3 weeks.
  13. And Dollywood postponed. Is anyone really surprised anymore?
  14. It sounds like we are about to go under a national emergency! https://www.cnbc.com/2020/03/13/trump-will-hold-a-press-conference-at-3-pm-et-to-discuss-coronavirus-response.html
  15. Tbh I think an around April 4th opening is kind of a stretch imo. I wouldn't be too surprised to see a few of these parks delay their opening a little longer.
  16. TBH now I'm actually expecting a delayed opening. My main question is will they still do a media day/first rider event for Orion? Likely around the time of the new opening?
  17. If they were to do that, I would hope they turn the LED lights and maybe the sound effects on.
  18. I'm hoping the prop building features some cool LED light and sound effects similar to inside the chaos building.
  19. Here's the thing, the governor referenced gatherings as "events" like festivals, parades, etc. An amusement park is not an event. Yes, they offer events, but KI is not considered an "event" itself. It's a business. However, they could close it or delay opening if they feel that it's just not worth it with the conditions. I could see a delayed opening. Or if they do open on time, I wonder if the first riders auction will be affected since that is an "event" or if it goes long enough, maybe coasterstock could be affected.
