Here is what I'm working with: Total land area I see for development: about 9.1 acres Pic: Site I used for this image and to calculate the land area: https://www.mapdevelopers.com/area_finder.php Personally, I see three options with this land: 1. An expansion of Rivertown with paths from either in front of The Beast or behind Rivertown Pizza. I see with this the addition of a few flat rides. 2. An expansion of Coney Mall. As unlikely as I think this is, it is still possible that we could see a third expansion of the mall. 3. The addition of a new roller coaster. As for the kind of coaster, I am split. I think a new roller coaster styled just like Vortex. The only issue being it seems kinda dumb to tear down a ride just to build something like it. I don't believe B&M will have one of their own there considering Orion. So, I see either an RMC or an Intamin. So, those are my thoughts.

With the removal of Vortex, what do we think will replace it? I am currently working on a few logistics and will post soon...

I personally think the next ride to go is Invertigo.

I think this crane is a bit small for what they need for Orion. They need something about 300ft tall to assemble the lift hill.

I would LOVE to see Backlot Stunt Coaster be removed. The ride to me has little purpose. Its a quick ride, its theme doesn't really go with the Coney Mall theme, Paramount built the ride, ... thats about it. So, remove BLSC! Are you suggesting a Enchanted Voyage styled ride? If you're talking about a log flume, I would suggest resurrecting Kenton's Cove Keelboat Canal. As for the Boo Blasters building, I personally think Kings Island NEEDS to have a haunted house. Maybe not specifically Boo Blaster's, but some sort of haunted house (**cough** **cough** mix of Phantom Theater and Boo Blasters **cough** **cough**)

Part of it has to do with the cold. If its 32 outside and youre around 270ft in the air, thats going to be FREEZING with the wind. also, the equipment on the tower probably isnt meant to be ran a whole lot when its cold outside. Plus the addition of the all the lights on the tower, too.

Yeah. I think the train closes early but the 265ft platform (the lower one) stays open during Haunt. And just like @jdf21972 said, the tower may close early to prep for Winterfest.

They are assembling the first lift hill truss!!!!!!!

So, since the base for the lift hill is in place, do you guys think that supports for the rest of the lift hill and other pieces of track will be installed throughout the rest of the week?

It kinds makes sense considering most of the pieces there are pretty much where the brake run would be.
