I think a point that we all can agree on is that Oktoberfest NEEDS to stand out from the other areas of the park rather than to look like boarder zone between AZ, CM, and IS.

I understand 100% what you are saying, but colder weather does more wear and tear on roller coasters than flat rides.

I do not know this specifically, but it is a valid reason. Looking at this from an engineering perspective, remember that metal contracts in cold temperatures. The metal on Woodstock Express has to be older metal, making it more brittle. Not even mentioning Racer. Also consider the fact that every single time you run a ride, its added wear and tear.

Slightly off topic, but I just now watched a pov of Steel Vengeance.... and all I have to say (well, its more of a question) is HOW CAN THE FIT COASTER INSIDE OF COASTER???

Welcome to KIC! As much as I would LOVE to see that, I think its as unlikely as them running Racer for WinterFest. But one has to wonder how much faster The Beast would be with icy rails.....?

Not trying to be a debby-downer here, but as much as I would like to see Racer run during WinterFest, I personally think its unlikely that it will happen because of its age. Same goes for Woodstock Express. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Just saw the weather on WCPO, and they pulled up their Kings Island webcam. Jennifer Ketchmark was more concerned with the weather than Orion's hill peaking over the skyline! lol

I wonder if its possible to take a drone video of the construction without going on KI property......

As far as Climate control in the buildings, I was chatting up and employee inside one of the IS shops and they said that the heaters run nonstop and they come in 1 hour early to open the doors so its not hotter than a desert in there.

Personally, I think Backlot Stunt Coaster is the next to go because it sits on prime land for new rides (maily flat rides) and the theming isn't strong and that it doesn't really go with Rivertown and Coney Mall.

I've personally never seen a beacon on Diamondback, and its over 200' tall...
