Its nice to pay tribute to former rides! Are you looking for photographs that people have taken themselves or....? I took a look at the page and saw a spot for Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle and there are several images online of the former attraction. Same goes for a few others on there.

I know people say this a lot, but I'm gonna say it. The Bat is quite a walk from the rest of the park, which is a strike. From several accounts of riders it has a slow lift hill (which I'm pretty sure everyone is aware of) and its getting rougher, which is another strike. But other than these factors, it would depend on The Bat's ridership and how much it takes to maintain it. If ridership is low and/or it become to expensive to maintain a ride, it would probably be in the parks interest to remove it. Parks have to make so much per acre, and if the park starts losing money, again, its in their best interests (business wise) to remove whats there and find an alternative to make better use of that specific land. But I do not know how much it costs to maintain The Bat or what it's ridership statistics are, so there are several known and unknown variables here.

So, I was looking at Kings Dominions WinterFest to see what ride selection they have, and not gonna lie its funny how their pirate ship ride is running but ours isn't. I wonder why....

I've been thinking.....Beast running during WinterFest would be quite interesting. Think about it. They could temporarily rename it "The Festive Beast" and they could line the side railing with lights and play Christmas music on the lift hills and they could put lights in the tunnels.

Im not trying to be lazy saying this, but.... I just feel that an RMC styled coaster doesn't fit with Kings Island....... I just can't explain it..... Actually....now that I think about it.....let me rephrase what I'm saying. I think at some point, Kings Island should get an RMC. But I do not think that a future RMC should take Vortex's place. My thinking says an RMC should go either in Area 72 OR Oktoberfest (as sort of a resurrected Bavarian Beetle or some German themed ride). I think that Vortex's land would better suit a few new flat rides or maybe another steel roller coaster. But overall, I think if Kings Island was to get an RMC, putting it in Vortex's space to me wouldn't be the best option. Also, what are you guys? RMC Fanboys?

Honestly, I probably would. But I still think that RMC doesn't really go with Kings Island.

I don't wanna steal the thunder, but I personally wouldn't want an RMC at the park. RMC coasters to me just don't feel.....(trying to find the right words for this)....Kings Island enough......

I don't see FoF being removed anytime soon since I would imagine that ridership will increase because of Orion.

I think a point that we all can agree on is that Oktoberfest NEEDS to stand out from the other areas of the park rather than to look like boarder zone between AZ, CM, and IS.

I understand 100% what you are saying, but colder weather does more wear and tear on roller coasters than flat rides.
