Fun Spot Atlanta ArieForce One Relocation to KI?
If there were survey markings back then, then they would've been difficult to see since it was in the woods near WWC. The new path for WWC that was built in 2016 was specifically designed to go around Mystic Timbers's first drop, so there's that. As for Orion, a Notice of Commencement was posted in 2018 shortly before Firehawk closed that outlined a construction project taking place between 2018 and 2020.

Fun Spot Atlanta ArieForce One Relocation to KI?
I think the first sign is if we see any land surveying being done in the plot of land where it would go. I've been up on the Eiffel Tower the past two weekends seeing if could spot anything "unusual", but haven't been able to spot anything yet.

Six Flags and Cedar Fair Merge
Something I will add is that two years after this merger happened, there's still a significant gap with branding between the legacy Six Flags parks and legacy Cedar Fair parks. Some effort has been made to unite the two legacy chains, such as using one singular app for all parks and ditching Flash Pass in favor of Fast Lane. However, both legacy chains still use their old logos prior to the merger, which I feel leads to brand confusion for people that aren't entirely in-the-know about all these parks being owned by the same operator. I created this mockup containing updated logos for the legacy Six Flags parks that are more consistent with the logos from legacy Cedar Fair. I updated the names to give each park its own identity outside of Six Flags, some of which reverting back to their original names such as Riverside Park (SFNE) and Reino Aventura (SF Mexico). Since they were originally built as Six Flags parks, I kept the names for Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags Qiddiya City. In order to keep the branding clear for the general public, I added a "A Six Flags park" subtitle for each park, small enough that it doesn't interfere with the park name. I would also add this to legacy Cedar Fair parks, especially given Six Flags was never a part of their names.

Six Flags and Cedar Fair Merge
I think Chicago's Great America works better than Gurnee's Great America, since Chicago is a far more recognizable city. My only concern would be that it would be acronym'd CGA like California's Great America, so you would need to differentiate them with ChGA and CaGA respectively. Illinois's Great America could work too, but it doesn't roll off the tongue as well. Riverside Park or Riverside Adventure would be my vote for SFNE. For Six Flags Mexico, they could rename it back to Reino Aventura or localize it to Adventure Kingdom. Six Flags White Water could be renamed to Hurricane Harbor Georgia to keep it consistent with the other water parks in the chain.

Silver Dollar City announces new 2027 Season Pass Sale
I plan on doing 2-3 days at SDC next year, so the Silver pass seems to be a great value for that. In comparison, I spent about $150 or so on tickets+parking for two days at Dollywood last month and that was with the discount I got for being a Kentucky Kingdom season passholder.

If that's the case, I would think KD's Flight of Fear will probably go first before Kings Island's, as they have Rapterra right next door.

While they're at it, they might as well retheme the rest of Crossroads into Aeronautica Landing. I always found it odd that they didn't integrate Afterburn into Aeronautica Landing despite it already having an aviation theme.

Six Flags Stock Drops Nearly 13% Despite Week of Big Announcements
I think by adding a third train, they will have to modify the end of the ride for it to have a longer brake section. Even with the two-train configuration AF1 had at Fun Spot, there were notable overspeed issues during that final brake run.

Fun Spot Atlanta ArieForce One Relocation to KI?
I created this concept of how ArieForce One could fit into Area 72. Not exactly how feasible this would be, especially with the relocation of maintenance buildings. I think if this coaster does get relocated to Kings Island, I feel Area 72 would be the best fit thematically for this type of attraction. Action Zone would also work, but I think that area needs a new haunted theme to coincide with rides like Banshee and Bat. I don't think Arieforce One would fit with that if Six Flags plan on preserving the ride name.

Who at Six Flags Thought ‘Thrill Glider’ Was a Good Roller Coaster Name?
The theme to this ride definitely feels linked to Quantum Accelerator at SFNE.

Fun Spot Atlanta ArieForce One Relocation to KI?
A note to add for Carowinds. There has been land clearing in the former Dinosaurs Alive plot for the past two weeks or so. I do not think it's related to ArieForce One, as Six Flags hasn't made the decision on which park is going to get it yet. It wouldn't make sense for that park to start land clearing for an attraction that hasn't been confirmed yet, so I'm going to assume that's going to be for a separate project. I also watched a recent video from Amusement Insiders that also discussed survey markers appearing around Canada's Wonderland that appear to be for footers. However, he stated that the markers don't line up with the type of footers used for an RMC I-Box.

I can already see the noise complaints from GWL about AF1’s lift hill

Another thing I would like to add in relation to staffing and capacity is that if Kings Island gets AF1, they will probably incorporate in-queue lockers and metal detectors like Steel Vengeance and Twisted Timbers.

Fun Spot Atlanta ArieForce One Relocation to KI?
Those locations were his speculation only, and I definitely don't see that second location happening for the same reason you just described. The first is a little more feasible, though I imagine it would add significant costs to build new maintenance buildings farther out from the park as well as the parade float tent. If AF1 comes to Kings Island, I think it would probably go somewhere else instead of the two locations he brought up.

Fun Spot Atlanta ArieForce One Relocation to KI?
Take this with a heavy grain of salt, but ElToroRyan on YouTube stated that he's heard recent rumors of Kings Island being the park that bought ArieForce One. I do consider him a credible source, as he previously was the first to report about Top Thrill Dragster being redone by Zamperla and Kingda Ka being retired after 2024. This is unconfirmed, so it's entirely possible that this could be false or there could be a change of plans, so please don't take this as fact until we hear otherwise.

Dollywood spent more than $60 million on NightFlight Expedition — was it worth it?
There's several Dollywood ads in Cincinnati. There's another one on I75 south by St. Bernard. Another big part of that is the whole Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area being a huge tourist spot for anybody living within a 4-6 hour radius of it. Including people who live in the Cincinnati area where Kings Island is. There's a Dairy Queen near my house that has discounts for Holiday World tickets. Holiday World is 2.5 hours away and Kings Island isn't even an hour from where I live.

Dollywood spent more than $60 million on NightFlight Expedition — was it worth it?
I get that, but Herschend has previously been one of the biggest gold standards when it came to quality control in the amusement industry. If this was at a Six Flags park, I wouldn't be nearly as critical since the lack of quality control is to be expected from that chain.

Dollywood spent more than $60 million on NightFlight Expedition — was it worth it?
I made that comment a day before Dolly's passing. With hindsight, that's certainly a possibility. However, Flying Fox at Kentucky Kingdom was also unfinished when it opened to the public, so I'm leaning on this being more of a Herschend thing than something that's specific to Dollywood. We'll see what happens with Miner's Mountain Express when that opens up next year at SDC.

Dollywood spent more than $60 million on NightFlight Expedition — was it worth it?
Herschend and Dollywood should be absolutely embarrassed by the opening of this ride. It was clearly not ready, as the ride can’t even stay open for longer than two hours a day. People need to stop giving excuses for parks that rush out barely-operable rides, regardless if it’s Six Flags, Herschend or any other park operator.

Yes, Batman at SFGAm is the first B&M invert and an ACE landmark because of that.

Fun Spot Atlanta ArieForce One Relocation to KI?
Allegedly, management from SFOG went to assess ArieForce One to see if they could relocate it, but it was a no-go. The person who said this alleged they heard this from a family member of the park president, so take this with a huge grain of salt.

Kings Island Searches for Executive Chef
I'm wondering if the dining plan counter starts after you purchase it. If so, I'm probably going to wait until after this season ends to buy it, so it doesn't overlap with my 2026 meal plan.

Kings Island General Discussion 2026
Can confirm. I was waiting in line for Flight of Fear a few years back and the ride went down due to storms.

Son of Beast station condemned
You can see remnants of Wolf Pack with the removal of some of the rails and air gates, as well as wooden platforms placed above some of the track sections to be used as bridges for the haunt maze.
