Yes, King's Island will one day change owners or file for bankruptcy and The Beast will eventually either rot away from neglect or be torn to pieces by an incompetent entity. It's just how it goes. Could be a hundred years from now. Could be a thousand. It's definitely gonna happen though.
-
I guess we shall see. Seeing as they can't really get much money out of the materials and it isn't taking up any space, I doubt they have plans to remove it any time soon.
-
Change is unavoidable. Eventually everything decays. One day even The Beast will be demolished. It's just how things are. That being said, Cedar Fair has proved to me that they value the Park's history again and again. There's a reason they didn't sell out to Six Flags.

Losing Son of Beast was probably the final blow to Action Zone. It wouldn't be until Banshee that the area started to recover with a new look entirely.

If anything, midway type rides would be really nice on the soon-to-be cleared out Vortex plot. Imagine taking a path down into the glow of classic amusement rides through Vortex's boomerang. I think that'd be pretty sick.
-
With the passing of Vortex, I don't think it can really be argued that Coney Mall needs the most love right now. The Racer is pretty much the biggest attraction now.
-
I know it's not a popular opinion, but I'd personally rather not have a video of it coming down surface on the web. I know we'll probably get one though.
-
At this point, the only two things I'm hoping for is that they sell some of the scrap to the public and that the station stays.
-
Son of Beast was also in a significantly more accessible location without as much risk for collateral damage should demolition go wrong. (The Beast's station)

Still not sinking at least.

Which Beast lift hill music is superior?

I could have sworn it was playing music when I went early this year. -
It seems like things are going down the horror route with the erection of Banshee and renaming of Flight Deck to The Bat, but that's just my take. I definitely think Oktoberfest needs some more attractions though, don't get me wrong.

King's Island has a lot of wooden coasters already. I doubt there'll be another any time soon. I could be wrong though.
-
Do you prefer Cedar Fair's or Paramount's Beast soundtrack? Paramount Beast: Cedar Fair Beast:

I was always under the impression that the roughness is one of the appeals of wooden roller coasters. I love getting battered around by The Beast.
-
I'd love to have a piece of track as a makeshift club for my car. Imagine beating some mugger into submission with The Vortex.
-
I wonder if it would be legal to sit in one of the cars while riding down the highway. They do have restraints, no?

Creative way of wrapping Gold Pass for Christmas

It has to be something terrible too. Those bootleg CG animated films from the $5 bin at Walmart would be perfect. -
Retheming of Back Lot Stunt Coaster
CorkscrewMcPuke replied to flightoffear1996's topic in Kings Island
The ride itself is kind of built around the theming it has. I really don't think you can expect to see CF change anything up too much. That being said, they could at least try and add more detail to the cars. I can understand not being able to make them look like Mini Coopers again, but that vague car-shaped blob design is no good. -
