I've had nasal polyps removed. That's nothing. -

What sort of flats could the park really make use of at this point? We've already got several rides that spin you really fast, two tower rides, a pirate ship and bumper cars. I'm sure there are other flats out there that would be unique. The issue is that a lot of the more interesting flat rides are either on their way out or already extinct. Anybody know if either of those S&S Sky Swats survived to the present day in some capacity? -
That's wonderful news. This is one of the few flat rides that I still have love for with the ongoing degradation of my equilibrium. Pirate ships truly are timeless classics.

I hope she understands that is literally what vaccines do, but safely. -

China also has the perk of being an authoritarian police state, which definitely helps people follow protocols. -

Kind of hard to compare a country like the US with any of those European countries. Our population is so massive compared to any of them that we are bound to have a significantly sharper increase on a chart measuring the number of cases. -
That would actually be pretty neat. It would have to be a very compact design though. The ride would have to fit within a 105x110 space.

The biggest symptom I've experienced is malaise and joint aches. They're accompanied by a lightly sore throat, which isn't currently bothering me, an occasional cough, and chest congestion. I do suffer from allergies though, so it could all be nothing. -

I like how they waited until the very bottom to mention that he had a history of lung problems and recent cancer treatment. TMZ giving quality reporting, as always. -

I can definitely vouch that testing is unavailable to most, at least in my region. I currently have symptoms and was advised by my healthcare provider via phone to just stay in my house, as I'm young and in good health. You are correct about the usefulness of said testing, especially since there is a 48 hour latency period to get the results back. -

But of course. The US is where King's Island is after all. -

The good news is that we'll all get to ride Vortex soon enough. -

It seems pretty clear at this point that they want to leave all physical traces of Vortex in the past, which is a decision that I can respect. While it does still bum me out a bit I can understand the importance for Cedar Fair to move forward with the park's layout. My only concern in the short/medium term is how all of this is going to effect The Beast. I do think Vortex being gone is eventually going to give it even better isolation, I really hope they can do something to accommodate for that deforestation until they can get some proper tree cover back there again. I do miss Vortex, but I've always gotta look after my Number 1. -
It was very industrial sounding. Reminded me of heavy mining equipment.

I think perhaps the best way to implement something like that would be motion VR and CG renders of the old rides. Seeing as we're probably gonna be losing Invertigo and The Bat within the next ten years, there would be plenty of rides to include. It would be very easy to maintain a high throughput with theater seating and individual headsets.

To be honest, I'm hoping that they will build a big wooden fence next to The Beast's station. It deserves permanent privacy.

Robocop is owned by the Mouse now? That's heartbreaking.

I'm sincerely glad that Cedar Fair has helped Kings Island flourish, as well as hold onto its roots. Disney would make Paramount's Kings Island seem like the Smithsonian.

My sentiments exactly. I'd love a piece of track from such a legendary coaster. It's been hard seeing it gored apart bit by bit. That being said, I'd love to see Steel Hawg or one of the other rides from the newly defunct Indiana Beach to come to King's Island to replace it.
