It seems to me that it would be more profitable to just run a winter flea market in the parking lot. Afterall, during the holiday season, people want to spend their dollars on gift shopping, rather than on skating around in a fountain. It's a wonderful idea on paper; just not in the present economy. Just my opinion.

Welcome, Marchimini! In a parallel universe, I think Diamondback would have been "Iron Man" themed, had it been a Paramount deal. I don't think they'd have changed any of their existing names, though.

"Peter" makes a whopping $5 for "filling in" for the character in the episode stinger. Can't even buy fries with that nowadays. The Racer POV is mirrored, which messes me up everytime I watch this. I wonder if anyone in the crowds (especially the ones looking at the camera) has ever checked out KIC... it'd be neat to hear from one of them...

It wouldn't surprise me if they removed the fountains. Their choice of background music for International Street has already diminished the experience of the fountain/tower entrance view greatly. I don't think they will, though. It would be like taking the reflecting pool out from in front of the Washington Monument, or draining St. Mary Lake in Glacier National Park. Just my opinion...

I was watching the news this morning, and saw the sad sight of SFOG coasters sticking up out of murky, brown flood waters. Just eerie! My prayers for the people affected by these floods. Link

When the kids enter Planet Snoopy, they won't really care. In fact, when their parents speak to them, they'll sound like trombones! "Bwaaa bwaa bwa bwaaa bwa bwaaaa bwa blue ice cream bwaaah?" Seriously. It's themed, and that makes it amusing. I hope the music is themed as well.

Interesting. A guest who happens to hold a high political office visiting that nice park right here in Ohio. I hope he gets a chance to enjoy some of the great amusements during his visit; I know politicians are very busy, and don't always have time to take in some leisure activities during their hectic schedules. Perhaps he can enjoy a ride, a hot dog, or ponder the beauty of the trees along the Ohio River before heading back on the road to other engagements. I imagine he might enjoy a trip to Kings Island, too, one day, and perhaps take a ride on Diamondback. I hope all the best for the day.
