I used to be highly impressed with the Enchanted Tiki Room, but since they "modernized" it, it's terrible. Used to be seeing all of those birds, flowers and trees moving at the same time was mesmerizing.

There was a Raptor commercial showing the Mill Race beneath a Tree - I think the Mill Race was being chopped-up - then the Raptor appears on top of the tree. I saw this commercial in a movie theater.

I had wondered about the picnic places.

My recollection is that there was, and still may be, a boat (people carrier only) that loaded in downtown Port Clinton and went to CP & back. I know it was operating as late as 1988.

You know....there are several places around that have a Winterfest celebration in January. WINTER doesn't just mean Christmas. There could be activities such as ice skating, ice carving, dinos in the snow, etc.......

I said a long time ago this was going to happen.....the airport in Sandusky, Ohio has been sold. It is located across the bay from Cedar Point. The former owners, Griffing Flying Service, had said that if Cedar Point offered them the right amount of money, they'd sell them the property. Now, I can't confirm that CP (CF) actually was the buyer, but the story I had heard years ago was that CP was going to move their parking to the mainland and have some kind of shuttle service to the park, a la Disney (with their busses & monorail). Well, now we have a former Disney man running CF - maybe this monorail thing isn't all that far fetched if CF did purchase the property. And, the new ride for 2013 is said to travel over the current main entrance booths. Hummmmmm...........

Disney has had these plans for years. They move slowly with new things. Impressive is the word that comes to mind.

All depends who's running it. God forbid we're gonna be riding B&M track in a white trailer!

I haven't even been to the park in 2 years and I can tell you this (after talking with my neighbor who hasn't been there in 6 years)..... They are gonna start removing SOB any day now and something will be going in it's place - even if it's just a lawn with a pond. My neighbor claimed that all of the people who take your picture when you first enter the park were asked to get opinions and ideas for what could be done to the land after the ride's removal, as Cedar Fair wants patrons input and will do what the majority wants - however - they're still asking the visitors, so there's no firm answer yet. I tend to lean towards the photographer's knowledge more than the Eiffel Tower, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, and Dippin' Dots workers all combined (especially on a Saturday!). Don't know why, but I do.

Oh, I could see another animatronic walk-thru.....giant killer penguins or something on that order.

Anchoring bolts have been found on site. Along with a wide assortment of nuts. No, they're already at the park, at KI, or on KIC!

I remember getting an online survey from KI. It had all kinds of questions about all things KI. One part of the survey dealt with :Winter time". There were several options given as to what I would like to see/have if the park did a winter thing. Some of the options included having The Beast open, as well as other "big" rides. Other questions had to do with various foods/meal plans to be offered during this same time. They were trying to find out what incentives would make me come to the park - rides, foods, Santa's workshop, singers/stage shows, etc. I never heard another work about it since I completed the online survey. But now, they could make Santa's Elves out of the dinos and string lights along the pathways. There could be a 3D moive about Christmas and FOF, AE, and Racer could be open, along with the flat rides in Coney Mall. Oh, and of course - the ET as the biggest Christmas tree ever!

I, personally, don't know - but even if it is operating, it goes into SBNO mode at the blink of an eye.

Having never been to Knoebels, I wonder what kind of stuff is gonna mess up Flying Turns (if and when they ever finish it).
