After waiting a long while in Diamondback's line and watching Orion, they were doing about standard operations. The fastest I ever saw it yesterday was when the train hit the brakes, the next train left

I waited about the same as Passholder Preview Day: Diamondback: 80 minutes-still at 2 trains Beast: 70 minutes-how many trains does Beast normally run? I feel like they're one train short. Or, there's just so much Fast Lane and that's why it feels like the line doesn't move

I had two meals today, Enrique's and Coney BBQ. Both were good and the staff gave LOTS of food today. Highly unusual for me, but I'm all for more food!

That's news to me...so sad because the rotisserie chicken was my favorite!

Could maybe hold a sign of some kind?

From the looks of the web cam, Diamondback is still running 2 trains. I know this because the train that comes in doesn't stop immediately when it hits the break run, but continues on where the other train would be sitting in the break run

So far during Passholder Preview Days at Epic, the only Virtual Lines that are available to use is the one for Battle at the Ministry. Trough the Universal App, you can pick the amount of people you want to get a Virtual Line for, and wait until the Virtual Lines for Battle at the Ministry drop. The Virtual Lines drop at 11:00, 3:00, and 6:00. It works similar to Disney's system with Guardians or Rise of the Resistance, where you pick a time slot when it becomes available and see if you got the time. But, these times get sold out VERY QUICKLY at about 10 seconds. You kind of have to get lucky. From what I've heard, it helps to pick the later times available, as more people don't pick them immediately. Sometimes, it will let you pick a time, but then say, "sorry, this time is no longer available" and you'd have to try another time within that 10 seconds of madness-to get a Virtual Line. I'm guessing Universal doesn't drop a ton of Virtual Lines for Battle at the Ministry now, but later they will probably add more times. For those that have gotten Virtual Lines, the wait is about 30-45 minutes. Here is a video of someone doing a review/walkthrough of Epic Universe, and tries to get a Virtual Line time for Battle at the Ministry. Here are the specific times to watch him trying to get a Virtual Line for Battle at the Ministry: 2:30-4:45 (first try at it) 24:00-25:15 (last try at it)

Whenever you have lots of people in one area, there's bound to be some fights. Passholder Preview Day was hot and lines were long. To be honest, I wasn't the happiest when I got out of a 1 and a half hour Beast line and needed a drink (because I was so thirsty) and the line was super long. People were very tired, and when people are hot, hungry, and tired, they get agitated easily. Like you said, there's only so much you can do with security and chaperone policies. As for doing something with monitoring the crowds, I would recommend excluding Silver Passholders from Preview day. I don't know a lot of people that have Silver Passes, but I feel like if you are going to cut some people, cutting Silver Passes is the way to go. I think a reservation system would work well, but it's not really something Six Flags or Cedar Fair ever did. I don't know if this is possible, but a second preview day would also help, although I understand staffing could be an issue. With this extra preview day, it also gives the staff more preparation for the rest of the season. Some system where you can either reserve the first preview day or the second could work well, but I feel like it would be difficult to pull off.

It really ruins the ride when they have to stop the ride and tell people to put their phones away

I remember a time last year when Diamondback was having maintenance issues, and was even down for a whole week. Hopefully they get the 3rd train on soon

I really like the new layout of the Emporium gift shop. It makes it easier to walk through and spaced everything out well

And before that I think it was around 21 Degrees and Cooler or whatever it's called when it was being built

I went to Enrique's for dinner, and they had both sides open. But, one side was clearly faster, and the other was hardly moving. The right side had supervisors and experienced staff, while the other side did not. They should try to balance it out better, because people in the slow line were waiting 10+ minutes longer than the people in the other line. My food was good, although they didn't give me much chicken in my bowl. I mainly had rice and cheese in my chicken bowl. It was still good, but I could use more chicken.

Operations were not amazing today-I saw Mystic Timbers down a lot and riders had to get off a total of three times. As mentioned before, Diamondback was running 2 trains and Stunt Coaster was down

Very good idea! Instead of FC, you could even do a Skyline car! They get a cool coaster car AND advertisement!

I kinda like this new theme. It's based off of some local history, and sets the ride apart from the rest, like at KD. I feel like it would also be cool to give the cars a repaint to go with the "Queen City vibe" and maybe change some of the license plates. At least this gives me a reason to ride this ride again.

So they never really said if it was temporary or not, they just said it was to celebrate the 20th of the ride. Do you guys think it will be changed back next year?

One thing I've learned about KI ever since getting a pass is that most people that visit KI have a season pass. It's cheaper than some other places and takes only two or so visits to make your money back

It gets super crowded by the ordering window, and it is not very ideal for waiting. This causes people to get angry/upset at other customers if they cut in line purposefully or accidentally. Then, customers start worrying that their order was missed or sitting up there cold, and cut the line to go and check, and then get other customers mad. Having people sitting and waiting in a clump is never a great idea. My idea is to do as @Losantiville Mining Co. said, a "platter menu" and do a line similar to Coney BBQ but wrap it around the building. As always, I will include an example and explain it: In my idea, the orange represents the food line that guests wait in. This "extended queue" if you will, will take up the walking space between the Scrambler and the Skyline building itself. But, I don't ever see many people using it, and the next pathway to get back there is not far at all. Next, the purple represents TV's that will be added to the side of the building to display the menu to guests waiting in line. The ordering process begins at the red section, which is where they will ask you whether you want Coneys or a "Way" (is that the name for 3,4, or 5 Ways as a whole?) This red section is similar to the Enrique's section where they ask you if you want Tacos, Burrito, or Bowl. After picking your "base meal" you head to the green section, which is where you get chili and toppings (onions, beans, etc.) if you want it on either your Coneys or "Ways". Finally, the blue section is where you get your cheese and crackers, as well as napkins, forks, etc. The brown section is where you finally order at the windows and get any drinks wanted and pay. The black is the drink station, which will be relocated. If you can see it, the gray is the divider that stops guests from getting refills, which is what KI likes to do. I'm not sure if I like this or not, but I included it for more realism. This way, the line prevents people from gathering in big clumps as they wait for their meal. I feel this also helps clear up the exit of Dodgem, which can get crowded with the Skyline orders. This is another issue with PotatoWorks, but it's only really busy towards the end of the night. So, I feel PotatoWorks is fine. Skyline definitely needs a change though. With this concept of mine, this allows the line to be controlled in a sense, and prevent guests cutting in line. If needed, the line can slow down because its one big line. What do you guys think?

I'm getting there when it opens, so hopefully I can get a few quick rides in before crowds start to come in
