Cash Flow..... Sweet Cash Flow..... I want some!

Or maybe Terpy is scouting the competition. I am going to take his responses from the questions he answered and dare make the interfence that Terp is either directly or indirectly a well standing employee(loose term) of the amusement park industry with a significant importance. Therefore with his knowledge combined with his opinion(again loose term) of Kentucky Kingdom, they felt Terpy was someone they had the right to refuse service to. Welcome to the escorted off club!

Denying a negative rumor.... Normally not a good thing to do, or even comment on. It is normally a sign of desperation. Attention: This is your captain speaking, everyone remain calm. There is nothing wrong (with the Costa Concordia)

Carowinds calls March through Memorial Day "Preseason" with it's employees..... Some things in the park granted they are smaller things aren't always ready for Opening Weekend. I will note that our Skytower is still not open. Carolina Skytower has been non operational for 10 months since June 2014.

Worse than the famed Carowinds visit?

What is FutterFly? I have never seen anything like it before.

Atleast it isn't 600,000 passes sold and 117,000 attendance!
-
Oops, thanks for correction. Sorry but I think KK's best chance for a future is Waterpark Only. By the way, here is my home waterpark's pricing in Greensboro, NC. Their attendance is roughly 400,000 per year. https://www.emeraldpointe.com/plan-a-visit/tickets-and-passes?mobile_switch=mobile

$35!?! It is $60 to get in Carowinds at the gate but I know where I can get discount tickets for $39, at $35 I doubt a park the size of KK could even cover the bills. By the way, gate price at Holiday World is $73, gate price at KK is $50. Season Passes are $138(HW.com) and $110(KK.com).

I was at Carowinds but not on Fury at this time. I noticed Fury stopped on the lift with no riders at 7:30pm and the empty train remained there until around 8:30pm. My guess is Carowinds immediately got people off as quickly as possible. The ride reopened by 846pm and was operating normally. These rides are machines, very complex computer operated machine. A computer is only as smart as it's programmer, and the ride's computer did as programmed.

Immersive Dark Ride Planned For Kings Island?
RollerNut replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
Boo Blasters WMG co-exist at CW as does the Calico Mine Ride at Knotts -
Negative, Fury's lift base is more closely like the hypers. Gatekeeper has this style of lift.

That one section appears to be the bottom of a lift hill however it doesn't match the same section of any exsisting B&M coaster I have found.

Now we all know that Cedar Fair prefers red or atleast used to.

Suicide at Universal Studios Hollywood.
RollerNut replied to Dieseltech20's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Which I feel they need to do, Carowinds has more than it's share of unsavory visitors....A few drunk teenagers on Opening Weekend talked about urinating off Drop Zone, thankfully they didnt do it probably because the harness and seatbelt kept them from getting to their johnson but still....Eww! -

Carowinds done away with metal detectors this year. Some will argue that metal detectors are just a deterrent or a false sense of security but I offer this as my arguement: Do you lock your doors at night? Do you lock your car at ______ amusement park? False sense of security or not, I am more comfortable using my locks. Furthermore, atleast in redneck country, most everyone carries a pocketknife not for protection but because it is a useful tool that they use on a daily basis. You would be surprise how common kitchen knifes and pocket knifes were taken at Carowinds or visitors were asked to put them in their cars. On Season Pass Preview night, Carowinds didnt even do bag checks but the very next morning they were doing bag check again. -
