I come bearing news! Thunder Road's trains will be sent to KI and KD, 2 to each park.

I seen a video on FunTV called inside track and it features The Beast. It was a short piece on maintenance, they showed a worker doing a track walk in the tunnel but it looked like he was using a flashlight of some kind.

I wasn't aware of that. The only way I can learn is by doing or being told.

Those demands are crazy, so is Cedar Fair threatening to sue. It is also crazy that the Big Dipper is rotting way, the odds it will ever be safe for operation have to be 0% no matter where the ride stands.

Well then by my opinion, then both Pipe Scream and Chaos Coaster(s) are roller coasters. My opinion is simple if the manufactor markets it as a coaster then it is a coaster, what's bad is how I don't fully agree with my own opinion.

Hmm, brown and silver. Almost like Teal and Green, I wonder if that track is headed for a Cedar Fair park.

Zamperla markets it as a Disk-O Coaster.

Ok, I have a question that I was asked by a family member(semi-Enthusist). What is the point in renaming the waterpark? I have never really thought about why the park's change the name of waterparks.

^Exactly! Cedar Fair has kept on with what KECO and later Paramount started. Witchdoctor/Black Widow 1973-1988 Oaken Bucket/Whirling Well 1973-1988 Monorail 1973 - 1994 Sternwheeler 1973 - 2003 Log Flume(grant we got a great coaster out of this) 1973 - 2008 Wagon Wheel 1975 - 1980s(will have to check my sources) Plantation House 1973 - 2014 And now Thunder Road.

Yes, I worked Hurler in 2006 and there was no trim. By the time of my next visit in 2011, a trim was added at the bottom of the first drop prior to turn three. As far as what caused it to change between 1994 and 1995, I was too little to understand anything other than I had fun.Ethan, most likely the money will go somewhere most likely to the new addition to the waterpark but I doubt they will add enough to equal the yearly expenses for Thunder Road.

Cedar Fair added trims to Hurler at somepoint taking away the most of the airtime. I remember when Hurler opened, I was 7. I remember it felt like I was standing going over every hill. I believe that if the trim is removed and Carowinds takes half of the maintenance budget for Thunder Road and use it on Hurler, the ride could possibly be a great coaster. What you think Terpy?

Funny PTC says they don't approve their trains run backwards, I commented one time and PTC responded. Maybe PTC changed the policy after the fact.

This seems to be this park general thing, accident happens, ride leaves. Not the ride's fault but in this case it likely isn't the park's either. It looks similar to Funtime's Slingshots, anyone got details on similar or not?

Skyrider was sold? To a scrap dealer or amusement park?

Dodgems being moved or removed has not been confirmed, just rumored. It will only fit where mini golf is if that entry point to BB is removed. Capital Investments and Expenses are two separate things; Fury 325 is a Capital Investment as is the Improvements made to Thunder Road and Hurler the last couple years. However regular maintenance like Carowinds did to Woodstock Express last offseason is an Expense as is any yearly maintenance to any ride.

We are also losing the best woodie the park, possibly bumper cars too. Sounds to me like they are cutting expenses.

Is Diamondback one of the rides?

I wish Terpy, less than a month left. With a Rebel Yell, I cry more more more. In the midnight hour, I cry more more more. July 26th will be a sad night, lots of tears will be shed. It is a waterpark expansion, permits have been found for a "bathhouse" and "rain fortress pump house". I dare predict a slide complex and new South Gate.

Voyage is capitalized when it shouldn't be, wish that was a hint for Carowinds.
