Why was the Eiffel Tower picked for KD and KI but International Street at CW has Wonder Mountain? The tower I understand, worlds fair usually have some sort of tower and a simple Skytower like Carowinds or Magic Mountain would have stuck out like a sore thumb. As far as 8 I-Street goes, why would you want more? Carowinds has a beautiful Plantation House as a admission gate but Paramount add art deco architecture to the park's "main street". Notice that PGA and PC were the only parks that they redid the entry plaza.

The older stand-up coasters like Carowinds' Vortex. Slow loading, too short of track juat beats you the whole ride.

Atleast it aint $15 to park, $3+ for drinks, whatever sunscreen is and $30-$55 for admission which adds up to alot more than Holiday World prices. Value is perceived, amusement parks just try to get us to see it the way that they believe gets us through the door. $82 season passes for unlimited visits for one season (March-October) makes it cheaper to go to Carowinds than a local fair. The only must pay is gas and food (in or out of park). With a fair, you have to pay admission. Lets say $7 per person and wristbands for unlimited rides $12 per person. Thats far more than Carowinds visit with gold passes. For a 90 minute drive, lets say $20 for gas and $20 for food in Carowinds. Thats only $40 compared to $100+ for a fair.

No shocker,; I guess this means they keep paying the advertiser's fees. I have had far better food than Dollywood at an amusement park.

Good lord, they arent superstars. I have been in the offices of Carowinds PR reps. Of course, questions that I knew they couldnt answer...I never asked. Overall, I have ket and talked to three former pr reps. They are just people with a job to do.

Carowinds has gotten into the "Running of the Bulls", everyone goes to Intimidator ajd Nighthawk. I remember when everyone walked and running wasnt allowed let alone encouraged. Amazing how much changes with management and owners.

Paramount Parks passes were far simpler, all passes were good all year long at all parks. The only option you had was parking and that came to be known as gold.

Cedar Fair doesnt run theme parks, they run amusement parks. Cedar Point has "themed" area Name one or more than them...

I beg the question, how are "games of skill" or carnival games not gambling? Why is there two hoops on the basketball game? The only games I play are the ones "winner everytime" and only play them when the chances of someone in the family winning are high or 100%

8 years later and ya'll are still upset over the loss of Flyers...the Carowinds fans are enjoying them.
