  1. darn! I haven't been able to keep up with the cam the past few days due to work and classes. I'm always a little late to the game. haha
  2. Well it looks like they've adjusted the camera a bit
  3. AGAIN, I think that fact has been established by many people, including yourself.
  4. B and M coasters traditionally have 54" height requirements. I'd expect this to be the case for Diamondback.
  5. Very unfortunate. That is a beautiful property that deserves more attention than it currently gets. Hopefully Cedar Fair won't see it as an expendable resource.
  6. The yellow supports are for the lift. The lift goes over in that area.
  7. So you're saying you need an impairment everyone can see in order to use Special Access? If you just can't happen to see what my disability is, you'll just assume I am taking advantage of the system? Also, Special Access isn't a 'cut-in-line' privilege. I'm pretty sure KI adopted a very similar policy last year, but I know for a fact how we do it at CP, and people who go up the exits wait the same amount of time as those who wait in line. The Special Access guest comes to the ride entrance and the entrance host gives a boarding time based on the current wait. We stamp the booklet with a special stamp for our ride only, and sign the book (to prevent fraud). Once the guest's boarding time arrives, they can go up the exit and board the ride. Guests are only allowed one boarding time at a time. They can't be waiting for multiple rides, just like nobody else can. It's a very well thought out system, and it is very fair.
  8. It's great that you want to participate in the forums, but could you please put a little thought into what you're writing next time? That post was a nightmare to read.
  9. One thing to keep in mind ... The Crypt is a thrill ride, open for the whole season. It isn't a Haunt attraction. Because of that, I'm sure they opted to not go "over-the-top", and instead decided to keep it kind of tame. That said, yes...They could have done better with the queue/ride area theming, without making it 'too scary' for a year-round attraction. I am at least a bit more content with it, though, knowing they are turning the lights off in the ride area now. When I rode on Saturday, there were big, bright spotlights on in the queues, and all of the lights in the ride area were on. The lights upset me the most, so knowing that issue was taken care of makes me a bit happier about it all.
  10. I'll be at the park on Saturday. Myself and a few other fellow Cedar Point employees will be visiting before heading up to Sandusky for the summer.
  11. Okay, well...In all seriousness, that picture was just a pose for a certain person that we knew. We didn't take that many. Seriously. Just ask Gabe.
  12. Very first thing I noticed as well.
  13. You say you have a wife, so I assume you're an adult. By the way you seem to have presented yourself at the park, though, I really have to question my assumption. Regardless of how bad your day may have been, you are seriously acting like one of the most immature 'adults' I've ever heard of.
  14. Was just browsing through someone's photos from today and couldn't help but notice.... http://s223.photobucket.com/albums/dd97/me...nt=IMG_1041.jpg The train was...RUNNING!? But, but, but...Boomerang Bay isn't open! I thought the train's only purpose was to transport people to/from the waterpark!?
  15. Midcourse brakes....Were they stopping you completely today?
  16. Also curious about the Crypt's status. I remember Ryan mentioning its status was questionable the other day. Any updates on that? Oh, and Donnie... Lt. Dan's? What's that? I think you mean Outer Hanks Bar : If I was 21 (darn November birthday), I'd buy ya a beer in memory of your good friend Lt. Dan. Maybe a root beer? lol
  17. Awesome! Great update! Can someone please tell me the Thunder Alley sign does not say "King's Island"? Please tell me I'm not seeing an apostrophe.
  18. Having a problem when trying to view posts. If the string "&view=getnewpost" is included in the URL of a post, I just get a blank screen. After manually removing that string, I can view the thread just fine. Also tons of errors while posting, and blank screen when making the initial post (though the post is still made). I know you're still working on things, just figured I'd give a heads up, in case it helps.
  19. Holy triple-post, Batman! There's an edit button, friend.
  20. Can't do that. But can get close. (With no offense to Mr. Helbig intended. All in good fun. )
  21. I'm thinking we should have a word filter that replaces the word "nostalgia" with something else...something more, interesting. (If anyone has ever visited the woot.com forums, you'd know what I'm talking about. lol) ...and yes, NatiReds, you've got the place.
  22. The ride isn't testing in that picture. You can see people in the train.
