Skippy claims to meet one guy at the park and thinks he knows viacoms whole paramount park strategy. Yeah, the higher ups are jsut dying to tell every average guest everything early in advance. Me working at Beast has nothing to with the information Ive learned, what Ive heard and seen had nothing to do with any employee at Beast, Im not going to divulge anything Ive heard or seen because I dont feel like getting fried untill I can have a better job. I got a little more in depth than the people who atteneded the firefall media day. Skippy, you dont know garbage, as for GGG its up for debate as to if i believe what he says. Atleast he has some bearing, but Skippy you havent proven that you know Jack Sh*t and trust me you DONT know more about the Nick expansion than I do. And Skippy learn to READ I never said Viacom didnt have the AF rights! You moron, I just asked to see if it had been confirmed, just cause it was in the survey doesnt mean they own the rights for an amusement ride. I asked for a link to an article stating that the rights had been secured for paramount parks. Geeze, you people. All you do is make wild rumors and jump to conclusions and pay no attention to details, I may fight with GGG but atleast he makes intelligent comments. Its time to brink back AZkindaGUY and the idiot patrol.

Its the internet, grammar doesnt exist.
-
First off, just cause you talk to someone from guest relations at the park doesnt mean anything, Jeff Seibert hypes things up, and sometimes theyre not always true. GGG has no backing and neither do you skippy, try having lunch with the designer of The Italian Job Stunt Track, Tomb Raider Firefall, and The Adamms Family Reuinion Coaster.
-
Legend Rider, do you have a life outside caosters and this website? Announcing your return on an internet forum like your some celebrity and then demanding people use proper grammar on the internet.......like thats going to happen. Its the internet not grammar class.

Is beech bend something thats coming to Holiday World?
-
Nope I trust the site, I trust Bill Ryan and Dane however its losers like you I dont trust who claim to know everything. Duh, everyone knows whats in sore for 2006 everyone knows, but I can guarantee you dont know jack s**t about the specifics unless its been released to the public. Usual GGG style, spitting out garbage.
-
First off I doubt everything everyone says because its a bunch of rumors blown out of proportion, particuarly by you. No one ever said or prooved Borg is a carowinds only thing. You keep talking out your ass, because if youve been at the park for 4 years and there was bearing to what you were saying, then a manager woulve approached you about it. However, since it seems your stil hired and no ones done anything about you potentially revealing anything the park doesnt want guests to know yet, it goes to show your jsut stating rumors and useless garbage.

Whatever dude, every Kings Island employee thinks they have "sources". Back to the topic, a borg assimilator coaster would look awesome at Kings Island, I cant really think of any themes for a giant coasterof any sort, but Borg Assimilator is one.
-
Legend Rider eats up Holiday Worlds propaganda like the SS did Hitlers. No one knows what either El Toro or Voyage will be like as far as intensity or air time, NO ONE will know till its built. THey both look good, but no one will know for sure untill 2006.

Thats a REALLY good idea Ringmaster. That sounds very cool although I think the delapidated mansion would look better sitting on the lake in rivertown, I bet someone from Paramount is gonna see what you said, install a clone of IJST but re-theme it to the Addams Family just to save money now.

Like what? Run all 5 of our parks into the ground, let the midways become landfills, and not inspect our rides properly? Oh yeah, I just cant wait for SF to buy up Paramount parks, they need to do something about that 3 billion dollar debt thing though. -
I think I hear myself talking, was that filmed on dry run night, the headless hollow one.
-
First off just because you work in HBC/NC doesnt mean crap, just because you hear things from Sups and other associates doesnt get you anywhere because theyre not even close to the correct answer. Ive read thsoe Nick UNiverse details, I dont really see why everyone thinks we may get two coasters, just because you want to see something doesnt mean it will happen. These rumors are getting way out of hand.
-
First off, PKI's details released about the NU expansion in 2006 are pretty vague, yeah were getting Avtar, but it hasnt been confirmed TWO coasters are coming next year. They say you will fly on one of them.......well I dont know if anyone thinks anymore about reasonable possibilities but technically Reptar could be re-themed to Danny Phantom as the Rugrats popularity is fading hence the Avtar being the only confirmed coaster that has planned construction. However back on topic, I could see a big coaster called The Borg Assimilator at Kings Island. I think that owuld be cool, it wouldnt have to be a flying, maybe a floorless to take the place of Vortex someday. Green Rails, black supports, Borg spehere in the middle, fog lights, and sound effects. B&M floorless and inverts kick ass, i havent heard good things about their flyers, just that their slow and boring, wouldnt mind seeing a Vekoma Flyer.

What are you talking about? I never said Tomb Raider wasnt a high thrill attraction, I personally love it. I was just saying IJ's lines rivaled its lines and IJ can be labeled thrilling too and that coasters are labeled thrilling, no where have I ever said "TRTR IS NOT THRILLING"
-
Listen closely to what your "sources" tell you, just cause you heard it from your sup or another associate doesnt make it true, not trying to be offensive just saying the general employess dont know crap, IJ was a multi million dollar attraction with lines the size of TRTR's and is a coaster, thrill seekers like coasters. Kings Island tends to hype things up a bit. No offense Jeff Seibert.

Still everyone seems to be missing THE POINT! Accelerator coasters are made with a special launch system to propel them to extremely fast speeds, and requires more room. An Xcellerator coaster will not be used to make a ride that goes 42 mph. You can do that with LIM's as demonstrated with Italian Job and save space, plus Xcellerator coasters take up a lot of room for inversions, why waste the space and money with the unreliability of an Intamin Xcellerator coaster when you can put in something more compact that gets the job done for a cheaper cost, that is how paramount thinks.
-
Ninja's right. They can but not as well as say a LIM coaster like FOF. Xcellerators take up a lot more room and use a system which is designed to catapult them at very high speeds, 42 mph is not a high speed and does not require the system an xcellerator coaster uses. Why pay millions to put in an intamin excellerator when you can save millions by using LIMs to launch it if thats what was decided. The parks do have a 5 and 10 year plan and an outlook on their future, what business doesnt, however, its unlikely that they know what attractions their getting. To decided what attraction their getting requires so much time and factors to take into consideration.
-
When did I say that? I said it would be cool... Yeah sorry about that, I thought you said Flume would suck to work.
-
And your proof that the ENTIRE ride will be retracted and a good dealof the structure re-worked? Waring, theres a sign outside of SOB that says it will be closed for teh rest of the season to start rehab early due to winterfest, whether they are re-tracking it or not is speculation on here, remember kids half the s**t you read on these forums isnt true or remotely correct.

Did Six Flags build a completely new park in that location or was it a park prior to SF buying it. -
First off, you can tell hes full of crap and whoever told him that load of garbage is just messing with him because he claims it will go 42 mph and be an intamin accelerator coaster. Are you an idiot? The accelerator coasters cant have many elements added to them and theyre made to go at speeds from 70mph to 135mph. If its only going to be 42 mph then theyd use a different type of coaster so that way they could add possible inversions, and make it more compact. Like Roller Nut said, its way to early to tell whats coming in 2007.

2008- New Paramount Park in Nashville?
Gordon Bombay replied to Thrillsareparamount's topic in Rumors
Bonfante Gardens will most likely never be a Paramount Park, its too close to PGA, I believe the only reason Paramount manages it was to keep competition away from buying it and developing it. I wouldnt expect any new parks from Paramount or Six Flags, In an articel my unle sent me from Fort Wayne, SIx Flags discussed building a park there, however its unlikely to happen, six flags doesnt have the money at all. -
For the last time, we will not see any Intamin Xcellerator Coasters that will break height and speed records at any paramount park in the near future.

Definently Zero-G rolls. As featured on my favorite coaste TOP GUN: THE JET COASTER!
