True, but the Beach has some pretty good slides and isnt as crowded as BB and has one thing that Boomerang Bay really lacks.........SHADE!

I wonder if the Beach will profit from this as well, it will bring in some more people for them and theyre just around the corner.

No, some of FOF's theming is good, its just not kept up well anyone remember all the pattern lights that used to be on the UFO and the laser light show that used to take place when the power went out? Also, the voice that said "welcome to our ship....." PKI lets so much of its theming go to hell.

But that doesnt mean they have the rights, they have some probs and a display, when I asked Jeff Seibert about this back in January he explained that Universal ony had these props and the display because they were open year round where as none of the paramount parks could feature a display since they were not open, from what I've heard negotiations are being made with Amblin and the company who did the special effects for the movie and that it may be quite awhile before either the Universal or Paramount parks get a WOTW themed ride.

Im sure the theming and lights would stop working after the first few months that they put it in with the way Kings Island seems to keep up its other theming.

True, their is castaway bay I did forget that, and that Ramada is building a new indoor water park up there by CP, but theyre not close so theres really no competition in the off season for PKI's.

If you ever watched Pop Up Brady, so did the Brady Bunch actors when they stayed. This water coaster attraction, are we talking new coaster or water coaster like how the Beach considers that one aztec slide a "water coaster"?

God, how many more idiots are gonna join this site? Im guessing you want a giant giga coaster too? Idiot, we've discussed this a million times, and what it comes down to is whats gonna bring in money, target towards families, and can be themed. There is no logical theme for a giant hyper coaster and its not going to bring in as many people as a great wolf lodge will. The GWL will contribute a lot and be very succesfull. People love water parks and in the winter there will be no other competitors for water park fun, the only other year round water parks in ohio are owned by the same company. This is a good move for PKI.

I dont believe thats confirmed yet as to who is getting the rights.

The moving carboard charecters can in no way compare to the animatronic charecters PT had. SDATHC is neat with the laser guns, but the theming is cheap and tacky.

Did that light that is supposed to spin and link up with the markings on the door before the door slides open work? Or did the light jsut appear and look takcy and crappy as always?

While they give the same ride experience coaster wise, you cant beat the theming and excitement/surprise of FOF compared to Jokers Jinx which I think has no theming, well its got a sign and some light at the midcourse breaks, but cant compare to FOF.

AE was built before Paramount owned the park I believe. Later on paramoutn just added some of the music and sound clips in the station from Indiana Jones. The sound clips "Now boarding the express to outpost 5" were ther originalyl I believe but the Indy music was added later when paramount took over, however it says nothing in a park brouchure about it being themed to Indiana Jones because Paramount doesnt own the rights to make an Indiana Jones themed attraction, speildberg does and he gave them to disney. I think thats whats up, correct me if I am wrong.

^Amen to that Ryan. This isnt a site for politics, and if your gonna complain about politics make sure you know what your talking about first gigglinggreenidiot. I've had many political discussions with PKIBeast and atleast he has a good head on his shoulders. As for a possible Nick Expansion, I really hope they fix up kiddy land and make it look extraordinarily nice. Some of the older rides like the HB carousel and Boo Boo's Baggage claim are starting to look crudy. The HB carousel has a nasty tarp over it and half the lights are out, Fenderbender 500 has paint chipped away everywhere and looks really run down, Hucks Hot Rods has holes all over its tarp and most of th e long lights on the supports are extinguished.

I have my ways of getting the info I need Full timers also have ways of getting rid of employess who say to much and violate their confidentiality statements.
