  1. Maybe for you it sucks, but unfortuanently a majority of guests at pki dont think so. The Action theatre can still draw hour lines for that ride on Saturdays and majorly corwded days.
  2. http://travel.discovery.com/guides/video/c.../wood/wood.html ://http://travel.discovery.com/guides/...wood/wood.html Remember to read before you post! If you had taken not even 30 seconds to read, you wouldnve noticed this link in another post.
  3. ^My idea wasnt a slide, but more like a water coaster.
  4. What would make you think The Beast wo uld be any more violent backwards? I can tell no difference between the roughness of the backwards racer and forwards racer. They wouldnt have to put all The Beast trains backwards either.
  5. I checked the other parks sites and cou ldnt find anything about Winterfest, are the other parks getting it too?
  6. I think the reason SFAW turned their 1/2 cars on their arrow suspened backwards is because that ride isnt very thrilling to begin with and even with the cars backwards it still sucks. I would love to see rivertown recieve a sleepy hollow theme and to run The Beast trains backwards, you could change the music on the speakers on the hills and put speakers out in the woods to make it more halloween themed.
  7. I found this poll my dad sent me. LINK! Its from paramount, they ask you to describe what your ultimate water slide/attraction would be at your local paramount Boomerang Bay water resort. The one I came up wiht featured a new jungle themed area in which there was a 1940's themed restaurant across from a water coaster themed to Indiana Jones. On the ride there would be a cast member dressed as Indy and partway through the ride you would be attacked by Nazis and there would be fire and gun effects, the cast member would fall into the water and then youd shoot off, fall down some waterfalls then as you slow down Indy would jump back on board, a snake would lower and youd be attacked by natives. Towards the end of the ride Indy would use his whip to nap the treasure and youd think your slowly about to pull into the station, but with one last sudden almost 90 degree drop. You would get absolutely soaked and it would be wild. I descrbed it on the poll with WAY more detail but forgot to copy and didnt feel like typing it all again. Eventhough its not a slide and the INdy rights are with MGM, I guess I just have wishful thinking. I plan to make it on RCT3. Check it out and tell us your ideas.
  8. ^Spitting on anyone is just plain disgusting, if someone ever spit on me while I was visiting the park as a guest Id turn right around and punch them, however if I was an employee Id introduce them to my good friends the park police.
  9. ^I love how at the end of The Beast video the lady says "Greatest coaster in the world!"
  10. Speaking of tall steel coasters, does everyone miss that coaster called "Vortex"? I know its really hard to see *note sarcasm* but for crying out loud, its over 150 feet tall and has 6 inversions.
  11. ^The Core didnt do well at all in theatres, and before you say that doesnt matter, go look at RCDB. Carowinds Inverted B&M (now known as Top Gun) was supposed to be themed to Godzilla but after that movie did poorly, a top gun theme was used. Id like to see a Hustle and Flow stunt track! Your cars are a crappy cadillac with a sound system that only plays bass and you go by drive by shootings!
  12. LIke everyone says, you need to back it up with pictures or some proof.
  13. There is no manager of The Beast, the people in charge are the supervisors, im just a regular blue shirt.
  14. ^JZ's got a point, they could promote both events better if they do them seperately!
  15. Yes, the two rob banks on the weekends together and are always getting caught by the mystery gang from Scooby Doo.
  16. If your asking me then, yes i do, i work at The Beast.
  17. I've seen exit passes numerous times, and to copy one would be very easy.
  18. NOt even the tallest person who can fit in the car of any coaster at Kings Island can hit something by putting their hands straight up. If it was possible, then it would happen and the park would re-design the thing. However, most people who commonly hit their hands on The Beast tunnel, are the people who dont listen and stick their arms out to the side.
  19. ^THe core was an awful movie that got terrible reviews, ratings, and low attendance. I dont think Paramount wants to them rides after movies that do bad. PC's Top Gun coaster was supposed to be themed to Godzilla but that movie did poorly and it was changed to be a Top Gun theme.
  20. Thanks for the great feedback guys, im glad so many people like it, I've always been interested in photography and now I finnally have the chance to really get into it, I've been carrying my camera everywhere I go lately.
  21. Carowinds Top Gun owns our Top Gun! And its my favorite coaster! I still like PKI better, but Carowinds has some great coasters. TG and BA beat any of out steel coasters.
  22. Anyone think they will possibly announce next seasons new ride at this event as well as what their obviously going to announce.
  23. Thanks for letting me contribute to the site, thanks for the help with purchasing a camera Boddah!
  24. If anyone could hit the wood on any of the tunnels on The Beast, then it wouldnt be like that. FOF96 probably hit something else, I have bruises all over my elbows and arms from hitting the guys hands/arms next to me.
