Still though, I cant believe how uncouteous so many smokers are. There are still people who smoke in line. Its not like you need the cigarette to stay alive. Its not like food or water where its powering your organs, in fact its killing you. Smoking is useless honestly.

Does CP have room to build this and is there any woods near its property?

Whats wrong with talking about it? We do it a lot, usually whenever they can on the weekends. We get complimented on it more than anyone else usually, last friday you could hear the screams from the people in the que all the way from flume. Even one of the sups from IJ complimented us on how much he enjoyed it. I noticed The Beast crew doing this years before I worked there and rarely ever see any other crews do it, especially last year, last year I had a few friends who worked on Beast and power hour was awesome. Its not recognized mostly because of the legendary ride, but because Beast crew was primarily known for it first. No one ever said we were better or that other crews were worse.

^What I mean is, is that paramount needs to find some better movies to theme to. They havent had a lot of good movies they could theme to lately. Top Gun makes an excellent theme, but its getting to be an older movie. Italian Job was a good theme and Mission Impossible is a good theme too if theyd do something with that.

It would have to be some type of inverted rocket coaster, if the trakcs below you it doesnt feel like flying. Top Gun is getting a little old to theme to anyways. I think paramount is looking to get out mroe recent movies that have done good to be themed.

There was another rainbow today in fairfield by Jungle Jims, I notcied it while standning by the blue elephant that now sits at the entrance that used to sit in HB as a fountain.

Top Gun is a good ride however the short experience and lack of theming is what kills it for me. I mean they need to get that theming back, from what I hear it was fantastic.

Oh, I thought they were both called "Rebel Yell". My mistake, they are clones of eachother.

Carowinds is a great park and home to my favorite coaster of all time: Top Gun the jet coaster! Rebel Yell is awesome because it goes over the north carolina and south carolina state line and is just in general a fun ride. Top Gun the jet coaster has some good theming and is a fantastic coaster!

I dont think SOB is that bad. The forwards RaceR beats up my back more than SOB does. I love SOB's lift hill, how high it is.

What I hear from guests: "That thing is so neat going upside down on a wooden coaster" "I love how tall and fast it is" "Its rough, but The Beast is rougher" "Its my favorite coaster" etc.

SOB still draws in quite a few people, it is the worlds only wooden looping rollercoaster. I hear just as many good things as I do bad when I'm working.

They wont get unsafe. Amusement rides and coasters are safe.....especially in America....sometimes accidents happen......but for the most part, americas safety standards when it comes to coasters are great.

Everyone thinks that since Top Gun received no hollywood makeover that its a death note for the ride......did any of you think that maybe whoever typed the letter was given the wrong information and that this was all one big typo.

^How did you take that picture/where did you take it from? King Cobra isnt going to be rebuilt, had they wanted to keep it they wouldve kept it. Its not cost efficent to re-build the old thing.

I work at the park and I'm hoping I can answer these questions for you. The parent swap/child swap works pretty much the same way as it did at Cedar Point. The Beastie should be a good coaster to start your child out on and Wild Thornberries seems to be a ride the kids love. However the drop can be intimidating (I still dont like it and im 16, im a wimp though). Spongebob does have a height requirement and yes, the employees will enforce it. But there is good news!!!! If your child does not meet the requirement he can sit in the non-motion seats and still watch the ride in 3d! As for charecters, when you go into Hannah Barbera land you will see a set up for a Scooby Doo meet and greet that gives times as to when Scooby will be appearing. As for the other charecters though, they just kind of walk around at random as far as i know, so just be on the look out for them. The crowds shouldnt be too bad for a monday. The track has been sitting out in a field and not taken care of, I dont think its going to be rebuilt.

I believe that land is going to be the location of the new campground since the new hotel is taking the place of the current campground (which is closed). Thats what it said in the news paper

Anyone speculate as to where theyve gone? My guess is it was sold as scrap metal or that theyre tearing down The Racers and rebuilding King Cobra!! *note sarcasm* The track was on sale as scrap wasnt it or was it for sale as a coaster that another park could possibly buy and rebuild it?

As of now (according to Jeff Seibert at the IJST tour) the war of the worlds ride theming rights are not determined to go to anyone. Universal had an exhibit of the new movie out at their park and according to Jeff, the only PKI did nto get the exhibit is because they were not open at the time.

^hahah dude I was just kidding, i dont think PKD sucks at all, its just fun to see how PKD4LIFE takes it so seriously. I did enjy my visit to PKD and it was a fantastic park, but theres no way it beats PKI. I love how PKD4LIFE says "just dont P**s me off and everythign will be fine". What are you gonna do? Jump through the computer and beat me up?

^PC is a very cool park. It has two awesome B&M's! Top Gun the jet coaster is the best coaster I have ever been on and Vortex, their stand up B&M, is quite awesome too!
