To H**l with the "peoples" republic of china, the people dont seem to like being persecuted. Moore, there is no link, I dont really think I new paramount park could compete with a disney park. Why is Paramount going to make a new park when their was possiblity of selling them about 6 months ago?

PKI opened for daily operation on May 20th. It was no a special day. But the park is always slow during the first few weeks of daily opeartion. At the beginning and end of the full season. Reason's are most kids are still in school. That's why FOF and other rides and attractions were closed. These are limited operation days. Because most of the staff is still in school. I find it weird that FoF was on the list of rides being closed though. Normally they try to have all major rides esp Rollercoasters open. So i'm not sure on that one. Maybe FOF was having a maintenace problem, it seems like one that would usually be open on a day like that.

I know the guy who wrote the article, that happened to him when tried to go last sunday. He was unable to get on, there were A LOT of frustrated and dissapointed people, but I agree with Seibert, It was a good idea to do that incase they had to close down the ride.

SOB wasnt a mistake, sure it has its flaws but it was completely new and not done before (I'm tlaking abut the loop on it). THey have to have those cars on there for the loop and sure its rough to some people but its a great one of a kind coaster.

Its a cool Idea but inverts are all abut the inversions like corckscrews, batwings, boomerangs, loops, barrel rools etc. You cant do any of those with a woodie except a loop which SOB has but I dont see how it could be done ona woodie invert.

^I think some friends and I are gonna head over there this weekends and see what we can from the outside, we're not gonna break in of course. We also plan to get some pictures of Americana how it stands now. Ill update you soon if we do it or not.

Wow, that would be weird, that would look weird but sounds awesome.

I went by Surf Cincinnati awhile ago and walked up to the gates, it looks so creppy empty. All the stairs to the slides are gon and the pool is just sitting their empty.

Paramount finnaly had a decent movie that did well with School of Rock. I could see theme re-theming FOF to School of rock and make it like Aerosmiths Rocking Rollercoaster at MGM.

In my opinion the Beach was always the best as far as attrractions go untill the boomerang bay renovation. I think KI currently beats the Beach. However, I do remember Surf Cincinnati being the cheapest of the wave pool parks and being less crowded. Surf Cincinnati was my favorite, it was nice because it had all those picnic shelters and volleyball courts and a few pay ride such as mini golf, go karts, and bumper boats. My vote goes to Surf Cincinnati. Sunlite pool is awesome though and all those diving baords are really cool. They also have a few good slides. I went to Americana's pool once and it looked like a pool found at a Holiday Inn. What do you guys think?

Did you know PKI is the only paramount park (Excluding Great America, it's railroad trains we're bought from a different company when Marriot still owned it) that still operates steam engines? The rest have switched to diesel.

^ I agree it does suck when you see everyone around so easily, the 3d ones arnt that bad though, Spongebobs good for the kids. James Bond was ok. 7th portal no one understood unless you were into comic books.

I dont mind being at that position, I usually try to tell everyone who comes by to have fun but sometimes it gets little boring sitting there in the heat wishing you had something to do.

KK looks fun jsut because the cars barely have any sides to them, its just like a seat thats moving at 100 plus miles an hour. The OTSR's dont look that bad actually.

Is Holiday World for sure going to build another woodie? They already have two woodies built by PTC maybe they will put in a steel that would be the longest. I noticed that Raven is ranked as the best woodie in the world, does it really beat The Beast?

The only thing Beast beats about SOB is that its longer. You said if SOB was 30 feet taller that it would beat Beasts record. Thats not true, SOB is already taller and faster and is the 2nd longest woodie in the world. SF is getting sad.

Not coming to any conclusions, since I have yet to visit PKI.... But technically doesn't it really depend on personal preferance which park comes out on top...? Again not saying that PKI isn't bad or anything. I know its just personal opinion, im jsut messing with PKD4LIFE to get him stirred up

They still have people walking around as charecters, theres a special spot to even meet scooby

If there werent corporations america would lose a lot of its money and your precious way of life would be ran into the ground to have the equivelent of a third world country.

Homer Jay, not all guests are annoying! Just the guests who are rude and inconsiderate to other guests and employees. You say we protect secrets like notional secuirity, why do we do this? Because we want to keep our darn jobs. When your hired by PKI they warn you that anything you know as an eployee but wouldnt know as a guest is not allowed to be shared, they even check sites like this to make sure we arent saying anything that guests will misinterpret. Why do we treat it like its the greatest job in the world? Because honestly, we like our jobs (or atleast the people on this site do), My job is a lot of fun and the people I work with our great. Yeah theres a lot of of employees who can be rude but theres A LOT of good ones too! No one said all guests we're annoying, just the ones who are rude. Just because your a guest doesnt mean you get treated like royalty no matter how you act, you get good guest service if your polite and considerate to the employees. Besides, the annoying habits of guests post wasnt just all employees complaining but guests like you as well!!!! I'm sorry you had a bad experience but stop by Beast sometime right before we close when we have power hour and you will have a good employee experience.

PKD is a nice park, but honestly compare PKI to anoy Paramount park and PKI is gonna comne out on top, sure this is a PKI fansite, and its my opinion, but we've got the records, size, and attendance to prove it.
