If anyone could hit the wood on any of the tunnels on The Beast, then it wouldnt be like that. FOF96 probably hit something else, I have bruises all over my elbows and arms from hitting the guys hands/arms next to me.

What exactly do you want pov's of? Discovery channel has POV's of Beast and SOB. I dont really see the point of POV's if youve been on each coaster a million times. In The Beast and SOB POV's they look b oring as hell, but in real life those are two pretty intense coasters.

^For the kind of ride IJST is, it gets great capacity. That crew is so strict with their operations and do almost everything flawlessly. A fantastic crew who is doing a great job.

Sometimes after my shifts I enoy going to ride rides, but I always bring a non uniform shirt to wear from my house and carry my work shirt with me, but I dont wear anything that would show I'm a pki employee with a messed up unifrom.

I usually get one or two shot glasses each year from the park and I collect shot glasses from everywhere, I have 60 now I think.

Didnt load at all for me, the site still ran fine though. I also didnt see the flash on PKI's page.

My fault, I though GL was located more towards columbus.

THe Dolphin stadium is still there, its INternational Showplace.

^That ride though is considered a hybrid wood/steel structure coaster though.

The problem with IJ is that its not unique. Its got some cool stuff, but its just a small family coaster that is like Adventure Express with a different theme. If it had the things that were promised (fishtailing, bumping, police sounds, car sounds (tonight only one of the trains had sound effects within it)) than it would be set apart from other coasters.

^So dead that I was let off work after only working 44 minutes and I walked onto every major ride while only waiting 10 minutes for IJ.

Location. GL is in the middle of the state make it a fair trip for anyone who wants to come from all over, PKI is in the bottom left corner of ohio. Making it very inconvenient for a lot of people up north.

Sob has a max vertical angle of 55 degrees according to RCDB, the steepest drop of any wooden coaster in the world. I also remember reading somewhere that it has the steepest 2nd drop of any wooden coaster.

^I think your getting two things mixed up. When Top Gun was put in, part of the Wild animal monorail habitat was removed. This topic is talking about the sky ride which was a ride similar to a chair lift that featured bucket like cars.

^Yeah they have respect for it being the longest but uh honestly I just watched the on-ride video of VOyage and it totally beats Beast.

^PKIBeast is right. IJ will get boring, honestly I can go faster and feel more of a sense of danger when I change lanes on the higway! I can go as fast as any PKI coaster in my own car! Now a 120 mph coaster.........you dont get to do that everyday!! I mean, thats just outright insane and crazy. Everday I can drive up hills and make quick turns at 70 mph in my mazda, but not everyday can i be thrown 120 miles per hour with little restraint up a 90 degree hill with a breathtaking view then plummet straigt down while spiraling! I can drive my friends mini cooper through a tunnel and get the same experience as IJST! IJ would be a lot better if PKI did what they promised and had fish tailing and bumping but, i havent seen or felt that yet! Rides need to be unique like TTD. IJ is just a simulator of your drive to work but with a helicopter and the same fire effects that can be produced with two lighters from a gas station. Neat little coaster, but not worth a 2 hour wait!

Tomb Raider the Ride is good for beginners. Its like a Disney simulator ride. No flips or upside down time. Just a neat, fun story!

^PkiBeast, where do you get your facts you silly man? Beast's top speed is 35 mph on a good day. FOF only gets up to about 40 its about as fast as italian job. You silly goose! Your trying to trick her into making her think those are intense coasters! THats not very nice.

AE and the kiddy coasters are good beginning ones but not much more thrilling than The Beastie. I work on The Beast and I can tell you its pretty tame as is FOF. Definently try those first then tell us about your experiences, dont be intimidated by that FOF launch.

Try The Beast, its not scary, it only goes about 35 mph and slow small turns. Its great for beginners!! ALso try Flight of Fear. Flight of Fear is intimidating because of that launch but after the launch its slow. You launch off then slow down and the show begins, its kind of like a phantom theatre rollercoaster, it doesnt go upside down. Both are great beginner coasters!!!

Your time was mistake, we make that announcement after the park closes at 10 and we have the exact time in the drive box. YOu did get to ride and thats the point, you knew you were taking that risk when you got in line late. We dont wann stay working all night after we've been working for 5 hours already and to go through our closing checklist takes awhile.

HW is a family park their adding this because they can also add something for everyone. The 4 other rides. Every target group is pretty much getting something. PKI isnt doing this because their not expanding into a new area. Holiday World is adding a whole new section to the park. They beat one of SOB's records so far, the steepest drop of any wood coaster.
