Enterprises like witches wheel and skylap are terrific. You go upside down without and over the head restraints and the g-forces you feel are awesome its great!

Im not exactly sure hwy they had two drops, probably to get more baots through quickly, but they didnt race, im sure one of the guys on here with all those stars knows.

Yes KCKC was a log flume ride like the thornberrys but was much better in my opinion. It was a lot taller. You would go up this pretty big lift hill that was jsut out in mid air and youd go up pretty high. When you looked down all you saw was the lake beneath you and it was pretty frightening. Then you weaved through the tree tops at pretty fast speed adn you came to a stop. Then your boat was directed to one of two drops! The drops were very steep and fast and after you hit the drops there was a slight hill. You didnt get that wet but it was pretty intense for a flume! Oh yeah and another unique aspect about this ride was that the station house was on a carousel like SDATHC where the cars keep constantly moving and the floor spins!

They defienntly shouldve replaced skylab with another flat i hate it when they put in stupid pay to play attractions that a majority of the guests dont do. THe rock climbing wall was a flop, so is the virtual reality. They couldve atleast made it a nice quite shaded area with trees where everyone can just relax. Pay to PLay attractions really annoy me. I know they make the park money but I already paid a S**t load of money for a pass or ticket plus spen about 10 bucks on food and a drink. KI has way too hgih of prices to have pay to play attractions. But I guess thats how it goes. Carowinds still has their enterprise and it is a blast!

Spiining wheels or "enterprises" are pretty fun but when KI got rid of theirs they shouldve put a real flat ride in there. Not some stupid pay to play attraction.

A lot of coaster enthusiasts claim it was the best suspended coaster theyve ever ridden. Heres some neat information on it. LINK

The Adams family coaster was in one of the past surverys and not this current one, I dont know if anyone still has a link to the past survey it was featured in.

Also some of the concrete footers for The Bat were used for The Vortex, you can also see in some places where there are concrete footers with no supports in them that were used for The Bat.

Yeah I noticed that in the concept art too but its still not confirmed that it would be an FOF re-theme they could always go at another angle and build a completely new ride.......yeah the concept art obviously shows its fof.......but i was jsut saying that is not a fact that fof will be re-themed to this yet. No one knows yet.

Bats steel was partly re-used on rides like Vortex to save money, it worked because they were both arrow rides. Screaming Demon was sold to another park. Bavarian Beetle was too but as coaster RZ said: the king cobra track is still there but its for sale. Im sure KI still ahs some artifacts of these rides though. A museum sure would be cool! The legends museum at the Cincinnati Gardens has artifacts from all the old teams and posters from all the events that have come. Its quite cool.

That thing looks very ugly but it looks liek a lot of fun to ride with the hangtime it has. It would be cool if KI made the Adams coaster with something like this where you would hang upside down like that for a long time.

Whoa, ring master, I have to clear up a few descrepincys in your post. Ok, for htose who dont know; this is what "soundwave" is: Soundwave was a rollercoaster proposed to be built that was featured in the survey. What Soundwave is, is a rollercoaster that will launch you off and go through many inversions at high speeds indoors with rock music blaring through your head rest. Much like rocking rollercoaster at Disney's MGM. Originally MTV was planned to sponsor this ride (MTV is owned by Viacom, the same people who own paramount) But now MTV has been dropped from possibly sponsoring this ride because they dont believe MTV will be family oriented. (Which in my opinion is good cause MTV sucks!). A lot of people think FOF could be re-themed to this soundwave coaster because the FOF coasters currently arent themed after anything paramount. Another theory is that parks without an indoor LIM coaster (Carowinds, Wonderland, Great America) might get this coaster built and the FOF's will be re-themed to something with a sci-fi theme. It is not confirmed anywhere that this would be an FOF re-theme. I hope that clears it up.

BUt what it all comes down to remember.......KI = Crown Jewel/flag ship park im just messing around.....im sure every paramount park is the best in one aspect or another

I dont think you can really compare theirs to ours.....its two different things....ours uses special effects theirs cant use cause its outdoors and theirs uses special effects that ours cant cause its indoors. Both are awesome rides though.

FC looked like a great ride.....my dad rode it a few times and said it was one of the best rides at the park....too bad some stupid drunken a-hole had to ruin it for everybody.......drinking is fine if you can do it respectably but that same day another drunken fool caused two employees to die as well. The lady who died on FC also left her daughter who was like 5 or 6 wandering around the park by herself all day.

Like pkd firefall stated.......PKI and PKD's drop zones are two different classes of drop zones.......each record setters for height in each of their classes.......PKI's spins......PKD's does not. BOTH ARE EQUALLY GREAT THOUGH!

Thats a great point PKDfirefall! War of the worlds would be an excellent way to re-theme FOF! (Not to mention less costly!) I would love to see them re-themed to that or something star strek. Yes, the Supersonic thing is suspended/flying coaster if you look closely at the concept art you can see its suspended track. (id paste in the picture but your not allowed) Plus if youre theming it after Top Gun it would make more sense to have it suspended.

Current and best rock music? Ugh it will probably be that mainstream garbage they play today. As for an FOF re-theme the only reason it would probably be re-themed is because it isnt themed to anything paramount. Paramounts show "The outer limits" was cancelled. So now the ride is jsut "Flight of Fear" not "the outer limits: Flight of Fear". Its got a great theme right now though. Id like to see it be something X-files but I dont think paramount owns that. No, we havent forgotten about IJST......were just looking into the future. I think PKI is gonna get Adams Family but it will have some crazy record breaking twist and PKD is gonna end up with Top Gun: Supersonic because they dont have a top gun themed ride........which will be great! A flying see saw coaster!

RCDB i dont think has the info right although i may be mistaken. Its listed somewhere that KI's was the first to use LIM motors. June 18th may jsut be the public date...KI's couldve opened sooner for media. I remember them making a big deal about it here though when it was under construction about how it was the first to use LIM launches. Im not trying to diss PKD or anything. Yeah this topic is pretty biased. I cant wait to visit PKD, it looks great. Its all a matter of opinion anyways and not everyone shares the same opinion so you can say one is better than the other for a fact.

Diana do you still count Kings Mill log lfume as one that still exists? It was only renovated and had its name changed.
