Hablo has a point, KI cant top PC in steel coasters but KI has some of the best woodies. The worlds tallest gyro drop and the first LIM launched coaster. Is PGA any good? I checked out its site and its coasters on rcdb and it seems like its the least popular Paramount park. I know it had the first flying coaster but thats gone now for a water park. It just doesnt seem as if PGA has as much as the others.

My vote goes to KI. KI has the most coasters including two of the greatest woodies of all time who hold almost every record for wooden coasters! The SOB is the only wooden looping coaster! KI also is the #1 ranked seasonal amusement park in the world! PC and PKD are great but KI has the most thrills!

Wow!! That ride looks great! I love how well the music and effects are synchronized and it must be awesome having the floorless topspin! And from my understanding the ride is not done! Yes, it gets better. From what Ive heard form the PKD fans on this site is that there is supposed to be more fire effects on the side!! It looks great!! PKD got a winner this year. Lets hope KI does too. Great job paramount development team!

At places like Americana, Coney Island, and Strickers groove you can find some classic rides like that. Those smaller parks are nice to visit for half a day, no crowds and a lot of fun. Gulliver, I do know one thing about the rides you metnioned though. Screamin Demon is now at Camden Park somewhere in VA. but has been SBNO for awhile. If youd like to ride one like it you can go to Fun Spot in Angola Indiana (about 4 hours from here) and ride the first Arrow prototype of that type of coaster! heres a link to it: Fun spot arrow prototype I think RCDB is mistaken with the info about that coaster at fun spot though. I remember my grandma (who lived down the street from fun spot) showing me an article she had saved and telling me about how they moved the coaster to fun spot from KI. I can try to find the article she had but unfortuanently she died last year and I may nto be able to find it. I might be mistaken though. Anyways I thought you might be interested in that Gulliver. You are right, classics rule!

I guess you could contact the park or maybe look on ebay or something. I think both the Brady and Partridge shows wil have season dvds coming out soon. Then you can probably rip that episode off limewire or something if you dont feel like buying the seasons. I Know the partridge family was about both Danny and Keith falling in love with some girl who worked at KI but was too old for both of them. The brady bunch episode is funny. But why exactly did both shows film episodes at KI? Was KI considered the nations top park at the time?

It was given that title this season.....ask any acer and they will agree that it is a great coaster.

Hahahah Stan Mikitas is great!! Carowinds had one when i went (not sure if they still do.) It was hillarious seeing the ginat hockey player on top of the building that would spin around. Do you think maybe the donut place going into KI will be called Stan Mikitas?

The Beast isnt great anymore? It was just named an ACE coaster classic. And ace coaster classics all suck! (note sarcasm)

wow, your a funny guy, The Beast is not toned down at all and why would KI tear out probably the best wooden coaster in the world that still holds the record for the longest track? Its a record breaker and highly esteemed everywhere. I hope you were being sarcastic.

KI has A LOT of land to expand. Unfortuanently none of it is near NC/HBL with the exception of the picnic area. What classic rides are you hoping they bring back? Theyre losing the HB rights soon.

I really wish I couldve seen the aircraft carrier theming on top gun, I love the Navy. I love seeing the squad flags and logos hanging around there, even though half of thsoe squads are defunct. Why did they close the aircraft carrier theming?

It shows, scooby doo is whats carrying HB right now. The flintstones first movie did so well cause it was geared towards adults. Why dont you compare those to some of the Nick movie earnings. The point is that HBL is going and NC will expand. NC will bring in more money over time. We cant change corporates minds.

That still doesnt mean its going to be sucessful. CN, NICK, and Disney have all had cartoons come out in movies and produced lots of merch and even given it a tv show and promoted it like crazy....that doesnt assure it will take off.

Rocky and Bullwinkle came out with a movie and the Flintstones even made a sequel and still less and less kids know who they are. Just cause somethings being made into a movie doesnt mean its fantastic and that it will be good.

Is there really any reason to call it a flame war? You dont have be an insulting a-hole. Its an argument up for discussion on these forums. You seem to get in a lot of arguments.

some familys might feel angry towards this but i dont think its a big enough number to make a difference. A lot of people are actaully sensible and realize its for safety, not all families are going to be idiots and try to argue with the ride ops over height restricitons, i hate it when people do that.....like they willa ctually convince the ride op.
