Despite the wording in the original post the concerns are valid. Prices, employee attentiveness and being able to fit comfortably in the rides are all valid points. I can remember a certain flagship park that has had its own issues with its restraints. What is childish, is the response about hitting the treadmill and posting the cry baby picture. What could be an interesting conversation about the aforementioned topics is off to a great start... It is nice to see some nostalgic food prices.... Just my opinion of course

I try... Im curious why they didn't put a little "new expansion in 2009" graphic where the installation of the "charming" grass is... Might drum up a little curiosity among park guests... (thinks back to tomb raider and ij displays at the park gate)

Swan lake is now a lovely green pasture on the 08 map... I guess we were all wrong after all... they were installing some "charming" grass to eliminate the path from tower to IJ

it is a shame THAT the staircase effect didnt WORK... i think it would have BEEN one more way to enhance the THEMED attraction. Who knows, maybe the park WILL have a surprise... - Eros ... who is testing out the CAPS key to make sure it doesnt stick like le' interpreter

Had it been your own child, perhaps your opinion would be somewhat different. There is a difference between getting "injured" and having a life altering and potentially fatal accident. It sounds as though you are lumping the people who get scrapes and cuts that sue, with this family. Furthermore, if by "taking SFKK for a ride" you mean, ensuring that this young lady has the finances available to cover all her medical expenses and pain/suffering, then that is a ride id be taking SFKK for as well. Until I have my feet severed by a dull steel cable I wont be passing judgement because I have no idea what the girl felt and boycotting seems somewhat silly... just my 2 cents...

Yet employees of Cedar Point resorts are afforded the "luxury" of staying in the hotel breakers in the twin section. To say those rooms are in a state of disrepair would be a generous statement. I lived in CP housing for 4 days before venturing out to find an apartment in sandusky. It made for a much better summer...

gosh i could sure go for some "charm".... I must be missing something, because i sure dont see CF taking Kings Island to something it was 15 years ago... Maybe Im crazy, but I dont think so.

This is a little weird to me. This website is hardly the only one to discuss matters relating to Kings Island. A simple google of "Kings Island" will yeild a high amount of enthusiast websites. So why Cedar Fair initiated this with strictly KIC is a little perplexing. In essence, to me, all this means is that the "confirmed" by anonymous source posts will go to the "other" websites. I really dont see this doing anything but moving those conversations to another site. ... just my thought...

perhaps someone knows what kind of "routine" maintenance would cause the site to be down for 48 hours?

I think Lakes comment may be geared towards the fact at times the homepage of "Kings Island central" looks like cnn.com. It always seems that more than half of the most recently viewed posts are these news articles that really have no bearing on Kings Island. In my personal opinion the message board seems to be inundated with news stories about things other than what this site is for. just a thought...
