Now it’s getting deep. Actually I believe what you where referring to is Ryan disguising himself as an awful replica of a Loch Ness Monster at the Great Wolf Lodge! He goes to extremes to give us the latest news surrounding Kings Island. Although Ronny does a much better job disguising himself, it's still believed that the Beaver is in fact Ronny. As you can see in the photo above those girls are onto Ryan’s ways and are trying to hold his head under the water and Ronny is tying to get away.
-
No that’s Ronny, he thinks he has Beast like qualities and can blend in. I guess he’s been working to long with Sonny’s father. carry-on.
-
It looks nice and looks like a great family event, but with the green leaves on the tress, no snow and its still day light it seems to lose that Winter Wonderland feel. Maybe it’s just me but it doesn’t seem like the holidays without all the cold weather to go with it.

PKICentral Exclusive: The Great Wolf Lodge!
Avatar replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
Thanks for the update and photos, my daughter is already screaming which slides and activities she wants to do and asking 100 questions (Do we see a future member). The lodge looks so massive. Can’t wait till Dec 22. -
It’s my understanding that the Great Wolf Lodge has submitted their address to the North Pole and that Santa is aware that he needs to stop their too. We will probably take a small fiber optic tree and maybe 1 gift for each person to open on Christmas Eve. On Christmas morning if Santa has decided that Miss Rae has been good then hopefully we will watch her open up some Christmas presents from Santa in the room at the Great Wolf Lodge. Then we’ll probably swim for a couple hours then check-out and head for home. The rest of my family will meet us back home and we will exchange gifts at that point. We actually go out of town for Holidays a lot except for Christmas, so this will be fun to do for a change and will at least be a Christmas that we will remember.

If a recent Ariel shot showed pictures of the loop still standing , I know one thing for sure; It would definitely clear us out of this thread and back into another!
-
Well it’s always good to see support for a sitting president. I am particularly glad that he decided to use Maria Bartiromo (the "Money Honey") to help us get through those Bush leagues ooop’s I was distracted I meant links. It seems that loop spotting trip reports have taken the place of the Winterfest trip reports and has became a new sport. See what happens when Park Enthusiast are kept in the dark for so loooong.
-
So How many members have took the time to go and hunt for a loop in the middle of December? The fact that not one member has been able to get a glimpse of it either by eye site or photograph has got to start to say something so much so that I’m going to say that I stongly believe the loop is gone at this point, unless I see photo proof or hear of an eye witness report that it is still there.
-
Bozz; we have a reservation for Dec 22nd and check-out on the 25th. I was worried that being so close to the Holiday that we would be the only ones there! I'm so glad to hear that some one else will be there too.
-
Yes we did and you are so right. You know we took 700+ pictures over that trip and I have several favorites but the one below I think is close to being one my most favorite as there is 16 years between them and he’s been away for the past 3 at collage but they still have that bond as this picture shows without any words necessary. Those are very kind words and I Thank-You, but truly I often think that I’m the fortunate one. I’m a bit confused; are you saying the report touched you? OR the picture of Jasmine touched you?

Disney - Magic Kingdom 2 Video links are at the bottom: This was my first trip to Magic Kingdom with my children and I think I was more excited about taking them because I knew what was coming for them and that this was going to be a day filled with new adventures and lots of surprises. Miss Rae was really excited and was telling every stranger on the street for several weeks that her dream day was coming! The big day finally arrived and we had arranged to start our day at Magic Kingdom by having breakfast at 8 am with Cinderella and several other princesses at the Royal Castle one hour prior to the parks official opening at 9 am. So needles to say this was an early start and one of those times when you’re really glad that you decided to stay on property as you are within minutes from any of the Disney parks. Also we knew that we were going to be staying until close that evening which was at 12 midnight, so we packed a couple bags so we would have everything that we might need for such a long day. We arrive at the front gates and were mmediately greeted by several cast members who made sure that we had the necessary credentials to go in early. My daughter Miss Rae came to the park donned with her princess attire as one should when going to the Royal Castle for a special occasion. (I suggest to all parents to do this as the cast members at Magic Kingdom really do go out of their way to greet and address your youngster as if they are really royalty). As we entered the Magic Kingdom each cast member that we passed by would look directly at Miss Rae and said something along the lines of “Good morning Princess I hope your evening went well, I hope your day is Magical at the Kingdom as well†and other varied prompts. Well this was unusual as Miss Rae was quickly noticing her princess like greetings and everyone was talking to her as if she was the center of attention, I could not help but smile from pride as I watched her arch her back and started walking several inches taller towards the Royal Castle. It is such a nice treat to walk down Main Street USA at that time of the morning as you can really notice all the unique qualities and details that Disney puts into their themed areas we stopped several times to take a few pictures as we knew that we were witnessing a rare opportunity of a crowd free Main Street. When we arrived at the Royal Castle we were first greeted at the door by Cinderella, and both Cinderella and Miss Rae had a few unrushed moments to chat then they posed for some pictures. Cinderella then encourages Miss Rae and her servants to go up the spiral stairs and into the upper dinning room to have breakfast with several other princesses who are already there and are waiting for her. When we get to the top of the stairs we went down a short hallway and was greeted by an official Royal Castle Announcer that is dressed well to fit in the surroundings, he takes a card from me that was given to me as we entered, then walks over to an elevated platform with miss Rae and makes a Royal Announcement that Princess Rae has arrived with her court. We are then seated and feed a nice servant style family breakfast and you might figured out Princess Rae was given preferential treatment and got her own special breakfast platter fit for a Princess. As we enjoyed breakfast the other Disney Princess came around and sat with Princess Rae, they talked, signed books and took pictures together. So this takes us up to a few minutes before 9 am and we have just finished breakfast. They had us wait downstairs of the castle until the front gates opened at 9 am, which is great because this allowed us to be just steps away from Fantasyland when the park opens. <param'>http://avatar.phanfare.com/video/2;15972218;"> We very quickly took advantage of the no lines at most of the Fantasyland attractions as the other guest were working themselves back there from the front gates. After several family rides I suggested to Travis that he should go and get us some fast passes for Magic Mountain and while he was there he should ride it and a few other attractions while the lines were short, while we finished up in Fantasyland with Miss Rae. He returned very quickly and I asked why he did not ride the other attractions in TomorrowLand and he replied “I’m enjoying watching my sister so much and I would rather ride a few of the attractions with herâ€Â. From there we went trough the Liberty Square area! Then we ventured through Frontierland and Adventureland. I must say that I was very surprised as to the length of the attractions such as Big Thunder Mountain and especially Splash Mountain. We rode through various outdoor mountainous themed scenes then had a nice drop that made you feel as you going down a waterfall that had tress towards the bottom and you actually pass under those logs at the bottom. After the splash you think your done but are pleasantly surprised when from there you go inside the mountain and venture past a lot of Briar Rabbit scenes, that add about another 3+ minutes to the attraction. I would highly rate this attraction as to the length and it really gives a lot of interesting variety of themes for one attraction. From there we went and watched the newly released stage show in the front of the Royal Castle called “Dreams Come True†It had a mixture of the usual Disney character with Princess and their prince charming. They had a couple Villains appear and threaten to ruin everything but Mickey gets the audience to believe in their dreams and in turn he saved the day. From there we decided to go to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café to have a long lunch in the air conditioning and Miss Rae even had a short nap while we relaxed from a busy morning. The parade was our next plan and we got to our preferred parade spot in time to get a nice clean curb to sit on while we waited. The parade itself was good and the parade participants showed a lot of enthusiasm as they passed by. Cinderella came by again and I stood behind Miss Rae and keep pointing down to her and then Cinderella leaned over a little and said “we’ll how are you, are you having a good timeâ€Â. That made Miss Rea lean back a little as she was surprised that Cinderella remembered her. At this point we had done most of the park except Toontown Fair and Tomorrowland, luckily we had collected enough fast passes through the day so that if we wanted to reride any attractions we would have enough to do so and still were able to do all the major attractions at Tomorrowland with our Fast Passes. Stitch’s Great escape was a fun familyattraction and a nice surprise as it is more of a, you got to see it interactive experience than a ride but it still gives you a ride like feeling when you come out. We saved Mickey's Toontown Fair for the last major area to go into because most families have done came and gone through that area, which makes the lines to wait for your favorite Disney character icon’s tolerable. So Lisa went and staked out our Wishes firework location while Miss Rae and I went through Toontown and met all princesses again!!!! and all the other costume characters!!! We saved Mickey for last and were able to get a leisurely walk through his house to take some pictures We got to meet with him for pictures and autographs. We met back up and enjoyed the Wishes Fireworks Spectacular and were able to get a clear view of Tinker Bell flying right over us as she usually helps in starting the show. At this point all the guest are making a mad dash to the front gates to leave but they were offering a second Electric Parade at 11 pm that evening so we stayed to watch that while the crowd thined out. Needless to say I had a very lifeless limp 6 year old to carry-out of the park and had to listen to her snoring on the bus all the way back to the Caribbean Beach Resort. In Conclusion: We had a very magical day and have made some great memories from that day; we look forward to going again sometime in the future. If you have a youngster or just one at heart Magic Kingdom will give you everything that you could hope for. But for older teens and for the singles group they may want to go just to see what all the buzz is about, but they will most likely appreciate the fact that there are other parks nearby to give them the stimulation and excitement that is more geared to their level. This a video that I purchased from Disney and added my own pictures, I am going to give two links to the video the first one shows only the Magic Kingdom part of the whole Video while the other includes all the parks and it goes in order that we went and is like flipping through a photo album. <param'>http://avatar.phanfare.com/video/2;9713097;"> <param'>http://avatar.phanfare.com/video/2;8535796;">

I like to see how you do that when it's not there anymore.
-
I’m saying this in a joking manner and with tongue in check; after all the independent reports coming from a variety of sources and they all point to the same thing but you need a official statement; then why are you reading this forum? You can get the official announcement in the local papers if Kings Island ever gets around to it! Maybe January , February or even in March wait no in April. And Rumor Smasher this predictions is just as good as your X-flight rumor prediction and I thought you said that was your first time ever. At least if your going to have a name like that then make a prediction or smash a rumor of something already!
-
How about Shman ,since you’re the only one kind enough to take the time (and considering the bad weather and traffic) go back up and take enough pictures to fill up a whole album one from each row then beat it over the heads of the nay sayers.
-
Oh Hell then (oops! are you still in class? ) I guess I haft to come over in all that weather and traffic and do it myself then drive 1hr and 45min back to indy half asleep. I say “Never send a boy to do a mans workâ€Â.
-
Well we appreciate it anyway as we are definitely not worth you endangering yourself tying to do such a noble and petty thing as to is there a loop or no loop in the picture.
-
Ronny; get off the forum and go take those pictures you promised!

If you guys end-up only going to Universal Studios or to IOA then I think you’ll be ok if you purchase the Express Pass and you won’t need the other pay advice information. But if you decided to include the Disney parks I must say please spend a little $ and get the paid advice especially if there are four of you, that would only make it like $5.00 a piece for great inside scoop information. Other families may read this thread so I’m going to add a couple little stories on how the Tour Guide Mike advice helped us in creating a most memorable vacation. When we were in the parks and we knew that it was getting close to a show in front of the castle or the start of the parade, we were lucky enough to know before hand where to go to get a great UN crowded seat and exactly what time to arrive at that spot to see the event. Instead of guessing at it and arriving too early wasting valuable park time or too late and be forced to watch from behind a few rows of guests. For the past couple decades Cinderella has been taking reservations to have breakfast with her and several of her other princess friends inside the Royal Castle at Magic Kingdom. Well if anyone knows a little one that looks up to these bigger than life icon role models will do just about anything to get that opportunity for their little one to experience. For that reason alone, it has made that reservation the most sought after breakfast reservation in the world, if you don’t call at the precise time and within 5 minutes after that time, I’m sorry, so don’t promise your little one until you have met the required steps to ensure this magical moment can indeed happen for them. On top of that and you may ask what more could there be? If you would like (and most do) to arrive one hour early at the front gates of Magic Kingdom to be let in and to walk down Main Street towards the Royal Castle with virtually no one around to take pictures and to drum up the special experience for that little one. You’ll haft to make that call within that 1 minute of the exact time in history that they accept a reservation for that 1 hour early breakfast with the entire Princess Court inside the Royal Castle. Wait there is another advantage to getting that early breakfast! They usually have you done with breakfast within a few minutes before 9 am when the park opens, which now puts you right in the middle of the park as it opens and not with the large mass crowd at the front gates. Which is great because the children’s section is right behind the Royal Castle and The newly deemed princess will get at least two of their favorite attractions in before the eager masses roll into the area called Fantasyland. As you can see no crowds around in this picture of a newly deemed Princess. Everyone has the same and equal chance to make this dream come true for their little one as it is truly a dream come true for the one’s who have did everything possible to have an experience like this become a reality. How much would one pay to get the inside scoop and to find out ways to increase their odds on making this happen? I followed Tour Guide Mike’s advice on this endeavor and as a testament from the pictures above was successful. That experience and advice was worth more than money could buy we felt like all the other advice and in fact the rest of the trip was just a mere bonus. So I say to all of you if you are going to go on a long awaited vacation or looking forward to having a memorable vacation try to take the steps necessary to give you the odds on making your expectations become reality. Even if it cost you a few extra dollars ahead of time.

Shman; I think most members come on here and look for new information , updates or first hand reports that they may have witnessed or heard something of interest. We all must take that information and give it proper credence as it relates with known facts or from the source. I just want to say thank-you Shman for taking the time to stop and look around for us as it has really gave us something to discuss and debate here. Some of us appreciate those who do share there knowledge and understanding of what’s going on around Kings Island and that Thank-you also goes out to everyone who tries to give insight to the workings of Kings Island.

Recaimer: a lot of your cost would depend if you were going with a group or family, I have done a lot of research in that area as it relates to cost. Sadly spring break is a very busy time of year and discounts are hard to find for that time (that whole supply vs. demand theory applies here). As far as cost goes and a place that usually finds the best deals and is highly respected in that part of the world and I think it will get you to the right advice that your looking for here Mouse Savers I'm pretty sure you can purchase a fast pass at universal that is a must if you don’t like lines. Also the fast passes at Disney have times that you can return on them and 90% of the guest thinks that that is the only time they may return, that is incorrect the time on the ticket is a suggested time and you may return anytime after the fist time stamped on the pass . One more thing ( most important advice) get there for rope drop and go to the main ride and get a fast pass first then ride it and then for the rest of the day when your next fast pass time is available go get another fast past for another ride, then by early afternoon you will have enough fast passes for the rest of the day while others are miserable standing in line. If you are going to have a nice dinner while your at the parks you need to make a reservation NOW or you will be stuck with, before 4 or after 930pm dinner (trust me here). A lot of people will spend thousands of dollars to go to Orlando but will not pay $17-$20 to get the inside scoop. They come back and complain about crowds and the $ they spent and only stood in lines the whole time. Then when you suggest a pay for advice site they quickly respond with "O I would never pay for inside advice I can get free advice online!" and they were just complaining about everything a miute earlier with the free advice they got. I truly pity them for wasting their time and money. The site that is the best is a guy who worked at Disney for many years and was in charge of showing Disney's VIP visitors around, he knows his stuff and I would have gladly paid him 5 x what I did to know how much better our vacation was going to be with his advice. Types of advice given is; where to sit on certain attractions, where are the best and least crowded spots to see the parades and fireworks. Plus he gives you best days to go to which park as it relates to the current events around that time, he also gives you a touring guide as to which rides to go to in what order such as one ride might take 30 min to get through that would mean the lines would be building else ware therefore use a fast pass at that ride later and get the fast loaders done first. I can get you a referral discount if you need one I don’t receive anything for it. this is great advice if your tyring to get alot done in a short amount of time. he does go into all the Orlando parks. This site is called Tour Guide Mike Also the largest and best forum for Orlando Parks is: DIS forum for all that free advice stuff. I have alot more info if you need it. I hope you have a good time! (if you end up with TGM, I'll change that to "I know your going to have a great time!")
-
Yeah but remember you already told us the year so you'll need to come up with another question for them.

Yes I really do enjoy seeing glimpse from the past I really enjoyed seeing the old figuring’s from the train ride. Are you sure that these pictures were taken in the same year.

SFMM Toll Booth Robbery
Avatar replied to The Interpreter's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
This is the third reference as to someone who thinks that this story is funny and I truly don’t mean any disrespect but I really don’t find any humor in anyone being robed at gunpoint. I know that if this happened closer to home like Kings Island you all would probably be felling a little more uneasy about that and for the pour fellow cast members who endured that freighting experience. The mere thought of someone coming into a Chuck E Cheese to rob the place is even more disturbing considering the children there and the fright that the parents must have had. Now I would haft to admit that CoastersNsich commit was funny. -
Due to the nature of this hot topic can we delay the game for one more night?
