Actually I think when we get everything figured out that we should have you guys review it and offer suggestions and /or assistance on formalizing the final plans. I hope and I think we do have your guys blessings on going forward with planning of this trip. I think maybe we should be calling it the unofficial PKI Central Trip. Unless you guys wany it to be a Official PKI Central Trip. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions you may have.

Thanks for taking the time to do your trip report. I enjoyed reading about the similarities and differences of the two parks and the similar rides that we share. I think I would have a hard time trying not to compare the two parks too. Lots of times we read about guests going from Kings Island to kings Dominion and comparing the two parks. So its nice to turn the tables and hear it from the other side and hear another perspective.

The ? Is because I would never want to use your name without first consulting you first. Good luck on your school!! Like I tell my son at Purdue; the only reason you are there is for school everything else comes in second!!! I think when you get some time it would be good if you could call me to go over a few things regarding the planning. It would help to keep us on the same page and so that we would both know what the other one is working on. I am looking forward to hearing about your ideas that you are formulating on. I think when we get everything set in place such as dates,price,which parks and the route. Then we should start a new thread to announce the trip in What's Coming in 2007 section.

Thats a really good point... I dont think that KI lets you park overnight! I have a couple Ideas that may work if we are meeting at Kings Island to start our trip. First thought would be to contact the nice folks at Kings Island and explain that the trip would be focused on Cedar Fair Parks and ask in a in a formal letter if they would be so kind as to let us park in a out-of-the-way area for a couple days, to help us insure the Comfort and Safety of the Paramount Kings Island Central members. It would be a wonderful jester from Kings Island to at least consider our proposal on this matter. We are very appreciative of any time that Kings Island gives us in considering this matter. I knew I read it twice and was seeing a patern start!! Also with the Season P***es prices coming out. The Adult Maxx fo $124.95 would be the best deal for any body considering goin on the PKI Central June trip.

It may be because Dane has made changes to this site. In the Footnotes section he has posted and say’s Quote “ PKICentral would like to address a few changes around the site here. We are doing a restructuring for these reasons: tightening up security for the site, making the forums experience smoother, advisement from the park, and clearing up a few loose ends.†UnQoute. It may be because of that. It was posted at 1;23 AM on August 23rd 2006. His post goes on with more site information, than I have listed here.

We will be happily renewing on our next visit. I noticed no Four Pack Deal this year and since my oldest son at Purdue only went 2 times with his p*** and lost his p*** for the second trip. I will not be renewing his Season P***, so with the child discount it should be only $194.85. So that is a big savings for us. I may upgrade my p*** to the Adult Maxx Season P*** for next year, since I'll be taking the PKI Central trip next June and that would only bring the total to $244.85 which is still a big saving for us from last year.

Ha ha ha I get it now! So this was an isolated incident with Ryan and Bill, and I was getting worried for nothing. Very Important Note to Myself; when putting deposit down for the Charter Bus Service, make sure their insurance is current and up to date!

That was a very well thought out Trip report and a great read!! I'm glad you got to spend some great quality time with your father.

ZosoBeast; that was a great story, I was hopping for some stories like the one you just shared with us. It’s not a traditional Trip report about a rides and time lines, but about a trip report of a personal moment in our lives revolving around Kings Island. I would enjoy reading more post like the last several posts.

Reon; this is the second request that we have gotten about Ryan can we check the hotels to see if they have singles? other wise we will haft to charge him more or he'll haft to give us a discount on the forum fees.

But I would like to at least get the planning and price some what firm by then so members can plan accordingly. Plus my business is getting ready to do a large expansion into Ohio by Oct 1, so I kinda need to get on this as soon as I can.

I edited my last post check out the shirt rule and let me know what you stink. Would you call and check out what hotels offer ERT"s and what the restrictions for them are. Thats why I was saying leave GL 1st day early to get to a particapating CP ERT hotel. If you don't mind I would like to try to make the deal with what ever hotel we decide on.

Just to make it clear so far it would be 1 day at KI ¾ day at GL. 1 ½ days at CP It is possible to make CP 2 full days and get back super late on second night there. Are you saying there is special deals for ERT at CP for guest staying at choice hotels . Also earlier you mentioned about sleeping in but also about taking advantage of ERT Just a little confused there. Also if we are going to do shirts (and I think we should) and we are going for need to have a rule for maximum number of days that shirts can be worn!!!!!

Park admissions are NOT included, but for those who would need them, group rates would be avaliable I used to do this all the time, I enjoy doing it, you meet alot of good people and learn from it. Once you do it once or twice, you'll see that its easier than it looks.

The prices will be in that range the difference is weekend or weekday rates. I have contacted another Cincinnati Charter Bus Service and they will get back to me tomorrow. I’m having them give me a quote from KI at 6am to GL then leave in the evening to go to a CP area hotel, then next morning go to CP back to hotel then half day at CP before leaving to come back to KI. Also if members did this on their own they would be able to do it a little cheaper, but this is more like an event. I’m looking forward to meeting you all and to experience some new parks with members that know the ends and outs of the different parks. The first Bus Company says they have reclining seats and pull down work trays. Second Bus Company says they can do as few as 23 members. As long as there is at least one other member willing to go, this trip will happen!! I think the members who do go will be in for a great memorable trip. As far as money up front, it will be very minimal and then later enough to cover cost of their portion of the bus trip. We can cancel hotel rooms but bus fare would haft to be passed onto the other participating members if we don’t do it that way. I think we should put up some polls in the POLLS section to get a feel for member’s personal preferences. And by voting that way it would be anonymous.

OK this is a very rough draft the bus can hold 34 guests or 54 guests. Which would include 4-6 TV monitors and air conditioning and on board restroom. Prices do NOT include tickets some guests may already have tickets for the various parks that we would be attending. But a group rate price would be available for those who may need them. Hotel would be of moderate type and would be booked as (2) Two adults per room. Your price could go down per person if more adults roomed together. Shirts would be silked screened with large design on back and small design on front, with personal avatar name on the front. Maybe we could get a sponsor to cover the cost of the shirts, but for know it’s figured in Meals would be included for 2-3, hamburgers and pizza style dinners. If everyone wanted better meals, maybe just 1-2 nicer meals included in price instead. Again a very rough draft With 34 Guests going 1) for one night stay over approx. $155.00 per person 2) For two night stay over approx. $205.00 per person With 54 Guests going 1) for one night stay over approx. $140.00 per person 2) For two night stay over approx. $190.00 per person Please keep in mind for the second night is giving us a room, bus and driver in the two day rate On the list above will anybody on it be bringing some one with them? I would be willing to pay for ½ for 2 Guest that may need it.

Here's to a reasonable Season Pass price and lets hope the same for next year!!!

Let's work on what we have thus far, I'll make a list of things to do and who to check with. I know it seems like alot to do but it really falls togather and the rewards of a trip like this is priceless!! So again we need to know who's interrested, it's not a comittment yet!! No you dont' want to do Greyhound, Is There anyone in the cincinnati area that could at lest PM one of us with phone #'s of decent charterbus services.
