  1. I agree with you, if you live in central Ohio or like. But for us living in Indianapolis the chances of me taking her more than twice to another park is unlickly, therfor buying single day passes for the other parks would be our best option for her.
  2. That's a big jump from $44.95 to $124.95 just for a 6 year old. They did so well but kinda droped the ball here, IMHO.
  3. Reon; one other option that you may want to consider on the shirts, is the polo shirts in the PKI Central store, store link here. You could arrange to have your connection put a design onto the back and have the members personal signature names embroidered under the PKI Central logo in the front with PKIC like colors. One possible design on the back of the shirts could be like a concert tour style shirt, with the park names and dates listed in order and still using PKI Central like colors. Then putting a big red or blue outline of the state of Ohio on the shirt with all the wording inside the Ohio outline. But why stop there, put a depiction of each parks signature Icon where the parks are located on the Ohio map. The shirt would look similarly like the example below; PKI CENTRAL 2007 OHIO AMUSEMENT/THEME PARK TOUR Paramount Kings Island Mason, Ohio June 11, 2007 Geauga Lake Aurora, Ohio June 12, 2007 Cedar Point Sandusky, Ohio June 13, 2007 Encore Engagement; Cedar Point Sandusky, Ohio June 14, 2007 Note; the wording would be spaced out as such; park names to the far left, city & state in the middle and the dates to the far right. Also the top PKI Central line and the Encore line would be centered. The Forum will not let me display it this way. It may be possible that there could be some interest from other members that may not be able to attend the PKI Central trip, but would like to have a shirt like the ones that we are working on, so they could go to future meet-ups or just to Kings Island for the day and be recognized by PKI Central members. We could sell them for a little extra and use the money to put towards the Charter Bus Fees to help keep the cost down for all the attending members. Tell me what you think. Is anyone interested in a shirt?

  5. Does anybody know what the Jr. Maxx season pass will go for?
  6. Sounds great, I think it would be a nice personal touch its always nice to have connections.
  7. It actually depends on money, shirt type and design, but in todays world everything is possible.
  8. I specifically noticed I didn’t hear a please or a thank- you in advance from you!!
  9. Dane since you are taking the time to restructure the Forum and as you have so elegantly pointed out the problems with the Paramount Kings Island Employee secure section and decided to do away with it. Well that got me to thinking that if you were not going to be using that secure section anymore, then maybe you would consider an secure Grumpiness of the old folks section, Whops I meant a secure older something section in that space. Some members here on this forum, have so little respect for their elders (and they know who they are, and I won't point ^ fingers or anything but they spell grumpiness as grumpyness). We do sincerely appreciate any time that you may give in considering this matter. Thank-You. Avatar Grumpiness of the old folks # 1 supporter!!
  10. Grumpiness of the old folks!!! Where in the world did you come up with THAT!!!? And I specifically said in a not so specific way that I am VERY sensitive about my older something age. What part of SENSITIVE do you not UNDERSTAND!!!? The nerve of some people; Grumpiness of the old folks!!! Where in the world. This is just a comical reply.
  11. Yea for the longest time I didn’t post here because I felt the forum was a little young and felt like it would be a little taboo if I did. But then I noticed more families researching and giving input to the forum. So I decided that I really do enjoy reading about Kings Island and that I could help to give that older something group another voice. As I said in another Thread “ I like the curiosity of the young , the eagerness of the young adults and the been there done that of the older somethings†I truly mean that!!
  12. 2 or more members is the minimum that it will take to make this trip happen and I’m 100% in. Although a few modifications would need to be necessary or keep it the way it is and just pass the expense on. First Bus Company does offer a bus for 23 people, but I have not gotten a quote for it. To keep the price at around $200.00 for two nights, we would basically need to put 3 to a room (but if they want to pay alittle more they can still have 1-2 members in aroom) and have around $45.00 to spend on food & drinks for each person, with each person receiving a shirt. We would need around 33-34 members and I Believe we have around 15 members thus far. If we can get more members to attend, then the bus price per member would go down. Basically and somewhat the fixed costs are the shirts, meals, bus driver tip and the hotel (total cost of hotel room dived by 1-2-3 or 4 members per room). The more fluid cost is the Transportation (total cost of bus divided my # of members going) I think sometimes members will shy away at first, but when they see the excitment and anticipation of the committed members they will show more interest and will what to be involved in a historic event for PKI Central. And trust me after we all get back and everyone sees the trip reports and the photos, they will wished they had went and would probably be ready to sign up for the PKI Central Trip for 2008, and there is no guarantee of a 2008 trip. The inaugural trip usually sets a bench mark, and usually can’t be matched. As I have said in a earlier post I have planned these trips before for Hockey teams and been involved with planning trips for students to go to NAJAC (National Junior Achievement Conference) and if any one here has been on one of those trips. Then they know how much fun it is to go with a group with similar interest. Cincinnati area has sent a lot of students to NAJAC, maybe someone on here has went in the past. (So are their any turtles out there?)
  13. Please Tell me that; this ^ doesn't have anything to do with the quote below from your signature!! "All Tilta and no Whirl." -Ryan "Boddah1994" Suhr

  19. CoasterFreak273; I believe in you and I know you can do it!!! If you have a goal and something to prove and it sounds like you do, then all that’s left is a plan. Have you got one? From time to time when I look into the mirror and realize I let myself go a bit, I start to be a little hard on myself. So back to the gym and a diet that I can live with and a few months later I always have a new attitude and wonder why I didn’t do this sooner! I’m currently down 32lbs with 10lbs to go for my ideal weight. I will be cheering you on for next year. Don’t give up!!!
  20. Can Admin or a mod please remove this post and the next one below. Just moved information to the new thread for the GWL asking for info as these post were more apropriate for that thread. Thanks
  21. Thank-you for the info. Also I really like the front page photo!!!
  22. UPDATE FOR PKI CENTRAL JUNE 2007 TRIP Things are really starting to take shape for the June trip, I’m getting exited about the way it is all working out so far, Its really coming down to just working out the fine details and personal preferences as a group. Then submitting an itinerary and a price schedule for everyone to view and decide. The second bus company called back and gave me the quotes for their services and made some suggestions on how to use their services to our advantage with what ever the final member count is. The second bus companies bus service would include several TV monitors, DVD player w/rca jacks, a audio PA system, air conditioning, restroom, and if we don’t fill the buss-up they could convert the back of the bus with 2 tables by taking out some seats. This would allow for a dinner service area, card playing area, swap Kings Island war stories area, or anything else that we wish to do with it. (Except for setting things on fire). She said they would send a very friendly driver who would look forward to driving us to the various Ohio Amusement/Theme Parks. The down sides so far are the hotel rates for the middle of June during the weekdays is running slightly higher than what I would like, but we are on a bus so we could stay just a little farther out and get maybe a better rate than hoped for. Additionally the hotels that honor the ERT for Cedar Point run at the price of $150.00 to $175.00 a night. This would drive up the cost. I will be putting several Polls up soon to see which preferences you all would like. As far as meals go we will also be putting up a Poll to see what types of meals you all may like maybe even a in park picnic at the various parks. I’ll be getting with Tom & Ryan to see if there are a few things that they may be able to help us do, by using their contacts at Kings Island. Maybe nothing but it never hurts to ask. As always any input is greatly appreciated but even if you’re not sure if you can go, but are at least interested in possibly attending, please let us know. Also a lot of guest are reading these forums and if you are interested in going you are welcomed to do so, and it would be a great way to get acquainted with fellow PKI Central members. Just sign up for the forum and post on this thread. As mentioned in another thread this morning by Dane, PKI Central would like you to join up and be a part of this Forum! Reon & Avatar
  23. If I have a season pass for this year and decide to go with a Adult Maxx Season Pass for 2007 and purchase it by October 29th 2006. Would I receive free parking? Because it wouldn’t really be renewing the Adult Maxx pass. If I would be entitled to the free parking would it be for only Kings Island or all participating Cedar Fair Parks?
