HelixSpiral; You make a great point about being less restrained a few years back, and I can remember trying not to squish the person sitting on the outside side of car while it was going through the Helix area. You did get that out of control feeling like man I better hold on or I could fall out! And I think that might be why guests would hold their hands-up more back then was because it felt like more of a risk to do so then, as compared to today's coasters were they strap you in push down with a redesigned tight lap bars. It doesn’t give you that same feeling as before.

The thing that I wonder is if a family shows up tomorrow to buy these new lower price season passes and they are not currently a season pass holders, surely they won’t turn the family away from a day at the park by giving them the only option of a single day admission ticket after they saw the advertisement and then traveled from who knows where Edited; Possibly they could sell them a single day admission and tell them to hold onto their receipt, so that they could apply tomorrow’s ticket purchases to the season pass at a later date. But doing that would bring up a whole new set of issues, like if they don’t get back by October 29 to be processed would they still be able to get the parking privileges. And the story could go on and on. Let’s just hope for a short delay for everybody concerned.

Are they saying they are changing the season pass plans and rates or are they working out the last minute kinks in merging their computer systems together? Or are they? It’s the fact that we don't know and it leaves us to speculate even sometimes the worst, is the hardest part of the delays for us guests. The fact that Ryan's post says there may be a delay and maybe by afternoon tomorrow they'll be ready for sales, leaves me to think it's a merger integration problem and that they thought they would have it worked out in time, but are coming up short.

I know its frustrating for us to haft to deal with a delay after waiting so long to find out the 2007 season passes plans. But I truly understand that if things are not just right then they should hold up because once those passes go out the door with their valued guests, then they find some problems and kinks in the system It would make it very difficult to get those passes back with out inconveniencing their guests.

I would like to say and I don’t speak for anyone else but I have never took any thing that anyone has said on this forum towards me as anything but a good natured ribbing and have had a good chuckle with the ribbing that has went on back and forth. On the Demographics Poll one member made the remark basically saying that we are grumpy something, and I would haft to say that that kind of ribbing I enjoy and find humorous. But their has been a few post on some other thread that has attacked one of our members about age, job and blind personal actuations and that deeply offends me. I wrote the member affected to show support and tried to report the post but got error codes. I hope that we all can keep the old fashion good o ribbings going because I feel it gives this forum character. Above I asked Dane for a secure area for us older something’s, but it was really was meant to be more of a Jab back to the Grumpyness of the old folks post in the Poll. I hope that it was only taken as a joke. But some very good points were by some of the members in respnse to my post and I appreciate their response. So enough of that and back to the Best Forum on the net PKI Central.com P.S. I think Dane, Ryan, Bill and Robbie have done a fantastic job on this site and have set a wonderful example for us all to follow.

Please do; we are most likely coming over tomorrow to renew our passes because of the weather predictions for Sunday. Edit ; We decided to come on Sunday now instead Saturday Side note; When we bought our 2007 Season passes at the Beach Waterpark a few weeks ago they couldn't print our season passes when we bought them (they were out of ink). I remember saying to myself, this would never happen at Kings Island.

I know a lot of communities would love to have the same concerns as the Mason residents' that live in the Kings Mills neighborhood. What community wouldn’t want some new year round jobs and very lucrative hotel tax revenue coming in year round, and all they need to do is address the traffic flow in the area. Man that is the best concern problem I have ever heard of. You know if you move into an area like the Kings Mills neighborhood you’re going to get some abnormal traffic flow problems and they should know that going in. It’s ok to be concerned about the traffic and do something about it as a community, but to put the concern out their during the Great Wolf Lodges construction tour media event is a little much. Dane do you know if they are having their grand opening celebration in the middle of December or the original date of December 22, 2006? also did you receive the e-mail I sent you last week?

I actually 100% agree with you SOB TOM; I think the only reason why my daughter even knows about them is because its pushed onto to her in so many ways and venues. She really only watches shows on the NOGGIN channel for the most part. As a parent I like that because it focuses more on the educational side that deals with animation characters. Like DORA, GO DIEGO GO and Franklin. They also have some shows that deal with manners and young children's daily issues, like Little Bear. I think the last two mentioned would have worked well with the young Guests at Kings Island.

Looks interesting, I just found thier site Hillbilly Hot Dogs the photo's really tell the story man I have never craved a hot dog like I do right now!! And after a 1lb Hot dog, we'll need 3 more days in the Parks. O man, I Wanna see the Weenie Man at the Weenie stand.

Great for you ICE for keeping that weight off for far as long as you have thus far. I agree with you once you lose a good amount of weight at least one time, you’ll always have that “I did it before so I know I can do it†attitude. Which really helps you to lose weight in the future if you need to. Thanks for sharing you experience with us.

As one who has been there done that. I think I would have preferred to be known as Sleazy over Grumpy!! I see the support is growing. Sleaziness of the old folks # 1 supporter!!

Disney World let's you upgrade from one type of season pass to a more elite type of season pass, all you haft to do is trade it in and pay the difference of the two. And I think they prorate it as well. I wonder if we would be able to buy Kings Island season passes now and then later on be able to upgrade to an Adult Maxx season pass, if we desired to do so?

Reon; if SOB TOM gets to have his white square with an X in the upper left hand corner as his avatar on his shirt. Then I want my avatar to glow and to have Avatar’s eyes blink like my avatar does now . I think when you check the prices to do individual avatars for every one; it may get a little expensive. Because each individual avatar would haft to be captured and then converted into a separate die cast for individual printing. Additionally the cost would be affected by the number of colors it would take to do that particular avatar. The only possible way that I could see this happening is if you did it with a print your own from a computer iron on shirt decal. But your connection may be able to do it for resonable rate (lets hope). it never hurts to ask, Good-Luck.
