Your welcome! It's still questionable whether or not we will be able to make it Saturday at all! But we are definately going to be there Sunday!

Well I called the park and asked if I got to the park at around 9:00pm, would I still be able to participate in the evening events like the DB ERT. The lady said I would just have to go to Guest Relations and someone would walk us back to where the group is at, and that's it! She also told me that if you can't be there Saturday then you can still participate Sunday.

I had a great time yesterday! It was a lot of fun meeting you and Dustin! It was a lot of fun meeting someone who is as obsessed with Kings Island and acts as goofy as we do! Even though the park was full of snot nose brats, I still had a fun trip. Vortex in 5-1 was AWESOME! There was actually almost no headbanging! I am so glad Diamondback reopened in time for us to get back on it as our last ride. Night ride on Diamondback = AMAZING! I loved it! Especially riding in the very back seat! I still need to get my first front row ride on Diamondback! I still kind of wish we'd gotten our onride photo. Oh well... I had a great time and I am glad we met up! Diamondback at night was the perfect end to a great day at Kings Island. We had a great time messing around and just acting goofy. I can't wait until this coming weekend! RWW!!!

So saturday night, Ashers and I can't be there until probably around 9:45pm-10:00pm. Would we still be able to go to the Diamondback ERT from 10:30-1:00am? I hope we can, because there is no way we can be there earlier on Saturday!!

I agree about how good it looks this year. Before, the old buildings in Rivertown we're useless and looking pretty bad. Now the old "old time photo" building has a use again. Rivertown looks great, it got the TLC it needed! I wasn't expecting it to look as nice as it does. And you have to think, a lot of the park was probably woods before they began work on KI....

Well I've been on AE twice this season. Once on Opening Day, and once Sunday the 26th. On opening day the Indiana Jones music was on in the station. The statue guys at the end we're on, and the jungle noises we're on. On Sunday the 26th when I rode, the Indiana Jones music was on, the jungle noises might have been on, and the stone statue huys weren't working/

As much fun that I have on The Crypt, I wouldn't really mind seeing it go if it meant getting a better ride there. The Crypt breaks down a lot, and the theming in the ride chamber sucks. I only like it due to A) I really miss TRTR and B ) the quick thrill it gives. However it doesn't matter if the ride is fun if it is hardly ever open. I would love to see them tear down the building and put in a Jump2 or even smaller less thrilling flat ride. I just don't understand how Kings Dominion got away with only removing the "Triangles" from the movie; they got to keep their monkey statues, their giant head statue laying in the water that the flames shoot out of, and even the music! We however, get almost EVERYTHING taken out of our ride.....

This is what I heard while sitting in Coney Mall. This conversation was between a guy and (i'm guessing) his daughter. Guy: Let's go ride The Spider Girl: It says it's called The Monster! Guy: Well it used to be called the spider, but they renamed it! Girl: okay.

Well, checking the webcam right now, Diamondback has only half it's main queue house filled, then the smaller overflow one not even open at all! So that's the crowd for Saturday, and normally the park is more crowded on Saturdays than Sundays. Which I find awesome, considering the great weather we're having.

I would say, start off with Adventure Express or Flight Deck. They are really awesome starter coasters, and are a great way to ease them in. From there I would probably move up to The Racer or The Beast.

No problem! I know, it took forever for this info to finally be released. But now that it is, I am thinking it will have been well worth the wait!

Yeah, the day was AMAZING! We had such an awesome time. The park looks great this year, especially Rivertown. I LOVED Diamondback! It had so much airtime! I had a great time at the park, and enjoyed the day. I wish we could have met up with some people, but there's always the whole summer to do that! Diamondback is my second favorite ride in Kings Island as of right now, however that might change when I get to try it in some different seats. I also enjoyed taking TONS of pictures of all the changes we saw, and the park in general. Angie, those shirts were in Coney Confections, the old fudge shop. I can't wait until we get to go again this weekend!

The water effects on the ride are NOT back. I rode it Saturday, and they did have really creepy music playing in the queue, it added a very nice touch. However the ride chamber was the same as last year, a big black box with no special effects and howling wind for the soundtrack.

Maybe they will put flat screens on all the major attraction's queues. That would be pretty cool. Or they could just be taking them out since half of them hardly worked anyway.

We were actually part of the Gold Pass ERT and got on in 40 minutes. Then when we got off the ride, the line was about 4 hours or more!

I'd love to see some fun flatrides such as Himalaya, Chaos, Wheel of Fortune, Teacups, etc.

Also over by Rivertown Larosa's they replaced that stupid stand that tried to sell you trips with a mini Diamondback souvenir stall!

Sounds like you guys had a fun time. I too loved how Rivertown looked this year. It really felt like a themed area this year! The park looked fantastic. I wish we could have gotten on DB more than once. Oh well. My group is actually in one of your pictures. It was me, my sister (Ashers), and my cousin. You can see my cousin and Ashers in this picture. I am sitting on the brick wall behind them so you can't really see me. But they are the ones in the bright yellow and pink "Paramore" jackets.

I noticed major upgrades to Rivertown. Including the new pavers, the nice wooden fences that make Rivertown feel like it's own area now. I noticed that The Crypt had some cool new creepy music in the line, but still the same boring howling wind in the ride chamber. I also noticed they were playing the Indiana Jones music in the station of AE again. A few times last season they didn't have it on.... I think people need to stop focusing so much on the bad of the park, because I thought almost everything looked pretty good (except Firehawk and Flightdeck.) The landscaping looked awesome so far, even though I'm sure a lot of it hasn't come in yet. I also bought a 46 ounce Diamondback souvenir cup! and it's still only 2 dollars to fill it! This is the start of what I think is going to be an awesome season at Kings Island. The park is looking great!

My cousin needs to process her pass tomorrow morning. We are arriving at 6:30am. Do you think she will be out of the line by 7:50-8:00, so we can get into I-Street as soon as it opens?

I figured this would make it much easier to see when the majority of people going opening day will be arriving! We should be arriving around 6:30am, but could be a little late.
