The high gas prices will not benefit the Great Wolf Lodge nor any other business. It seems that all of society suffers with these outrageous prices - expcept for the oil executives of course. They are swimming in record profits at the expense of the rest of the counrty. The high gas prices may likely keep away travelers from far away and even some conventions. However, the high gas prices may influence people in the nearby market to stay at The Great Wolf Lodge because it's cheaper than driving far away to a place like Sandusky. My wife won a $100 gift certificate to the Hyatt and we were planning a 3-day vacation in Indianapolis. We were going to stay one night in the Hyatt and one night at a cheaper hotel or motel. With this gas prices so high, we have decided to take a 2-day trip to Lexington instead. The gas prices are hurting our budget just like more than 70% of Americans. So, people like us will likely take mini-vacations at the Great Wolf Lodge. Have a great day! Italian Chef

I think it'll take business away from the expensive hotels - and have NO affect upon the cheaper hotels - which are the majority. Have a great day! Italian Chef

That's tough because I love them both. This much I'll say: Xtreme Skyflyer - I got nervous on the way up and scared when I was dropped. After that, it was smooth sailing as I swung like a pendulum. Sling Shot - I never screamed so much in my whole f---ing life!! It was scary and awesome at the same time. My adrenilin rushed - and the view of the Eiffel Tower while spinning backwards. WOW!!! Awesome! Hence, I recommend Sling Shot. Have a great weekend! Italian Chef

My favorite ride is FoF becuase it's indoors, it loops, it's dark, it's fast and it's well-themed. Have a great day! Italian Chef

That is very complicated. But I'll summarize it: 1. Big roller coasters and flat rides for me. 2. Nickelodeon Universe for my son. 3. Characters for my whole family as I'm a kid at heart. 4. The shows for my wife and me. 5. It's the closest thing we have to Disney in Greater Cincinnati. 6. I became famous writing a book at PKI. Have a great day! Italian Chef

It was nice seeing you two. Sorry that we didn't have much time to chat. Being that Toddler Chef is only 2 years old, he doesn't give Mrs. Chef and me much time for conversations. Have a great day! Italian Chef

Today's visit to PKI was better than last time. Of my 4 visits this year, it was the best. I tried to ride Little Bill's Giggle Coaster (formerly known as Top Cat's Taxi Jam) with Toddler Chef but he cried and cried when I tried to get him to sit alone next to me. Last night we went to Kmart to take professional family pictures. We tried to get Toddler Chef to sit alone for pictures - but he cried and cried. He wouldn't even sit next to me. So I'd say he is probably experiencing separation anxiety - not fear of roller coasters. We were unable to ride Little Bill's, so the three of us then went to Nick-o-Round (formerly known as Hanna-Barbera Carousel) and rode it together. Toddler Chef sat on my lap and was fine. Next the 3 of us rode La Adventure de Azul (formerly know as Quick Draw's Railway) - a mini-train ride. Toddler Chef rode once with the three of us and then just with me while Yukari taped. After that Mrs. Chef let me run off on my own to ride The Racer and then Adventure Express today. There were practically no lines! Following my 2 coaster rides, which only took 20 minutes or less, we tried to ride the Kings Island & Miami Valley Railroad (the BIG train) - but a sign said that it's closed until May 20th!!!! So we then had lunch at Wings Diner. Following that I changed Toddler Chef's diaper and wanted to ride to the top of the Eiffel Tower, but Yukari said that she was tired. So we visited Emporium but didn't see anything worth buying. We then left the park - but Mrs. Chef wanted to stop by Mei Japanese grocery store on the way home. We did and purchased lots of expensive Japanese products. Have a great day! Italian Chef

FoF is my favorite coaster at PKI. I surely hope they keep it - but would love it if the ride was re-themed to Star Trek. Live long and prosper, Italian Chef

None of us knows for sure what will happen to Paramount Parks. What are you hoping for? Would you like to see an investment company purchase the unit and leave things essentially the same? Would you like to see a theme park chain, like Cedar Fair, purchase and absorb the parks - eliminating all Viacom, Paramount, CBS, & Nickelodeon theming to conform with the new company? Would you like the parks be sold off to individual investors and the Paramount theming eliminated - but the Nickelodeon theming remain? What would you like to see happen??? Have a great day! Yes, I noticed that the old cars from Huck's Hot Rods are gone - aren't they??? This is bad for me because my wife and I used to ride them with our 2-year old son. He will get on a ride with one of us - but not alone. The cars now used on Go Diego Go are too small for an adult. Hence, Toddler Chef can no longer enjoy that ride - until he is older and braver. Have a great day! Italian Chef

I agree. It is ironic to give up its North American theme parks, which produce reliable income, and enter the risky business of opening a theme park in China.

Paramount Parks Deal in 2nd Half of Year

I suspect it is an investment company. We'll have to wait and see. Have a great day! Italian Chef -
I'm sure that earlier someone posted a list of all the old H-B rides and what they were re-themed as. However, I cannot find the post. Can someone kindly tell me: 1. What the old and new names of the former H-B rides? 2. Which H-B rides were removed from PKI? Thank you much! Italian Chef

Chan's Asian Wok in Mason, Exit 19, is the most awesome Chinese food I ever had in Ohio. It serves Chinese food, as well as some Japanese, Korean and Thai dishes. I highly recommend it. Toddler Chef, Mrs. Chef and I went to PKI today. We limited ourselves to kiddie rides, such as Little Bill's Giggle Coaster and Nick-O-Round. It was nice to spend time with with family at PKI. We left early because Toddler Chef wasn't feeling well. Not much of a report. I hope to go next weekend with friends and get a some big rides. Have a great day! Italian Chef

I voted for Drop Zone. It is the ONLY ride at PKI that I rode only once. And that one time was so scary - I'll never do it again. I'll take Xtreme Skyflyer or Slingshot over Drop Zone any time. Have a great day! Italian Chef

If you saw a 34 year old, 5'5, 115 Italian with a half-Italian, half Japanese 2 year old boy, that was my son and I. We were with my friend Flo, an attractive lady about 5'7 in her 50s. My wife couldn't make it because she was studying for a big exam she takes today. Happy Easter! Italian Chef

Today I went to PKI's opening day with Toddler Chef and my friend, Flo, because Mrs. Chef couldn't come with us. First we had the VIP character breakfast. We enjoyed scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit and French toast sticks. And we saw the Nickelodeon characters. Next we headed to Little Bill's Giggle Coaster. It was Toddler Chef's very first roller coaster ride of his life! He is 2 years old. He rode twice - once with me and once with Flo. Next we rode Lazytown Sportacopters. The line was very long, but Toddler Chef enjoyed himself. Then we rode Timmy's Airtours (I think it used to be Atom Ant's Airway). Then we ate lunch at Wings. Toddler Chef ate chicken and fries. Flo had mac and cheese - and I was stuffed. We walked around some more and then left because Toddler Chef was tired. I am so happy that PKI has re-opened and can't wait to visit again when I can enjoy the big rides. Happy Easter Weekend! Italian Chef

They were probably put into storage. I asked about them because I was willing to purchase some props.

I will probably miss the Hanna-Barbera Carousel most because of the various H-B characters and music. It was a ride my whole family could enjoy together. God willing and weather permitting, we will be at PKI tomorrow for opening day. I hope that Toddler Chef enjoys NU. Happy Opening Day! Italian Chef

Favorite Coaster at PKI

I voted for FoF. It's smooth, fast, and indoors. And it is the only science fiction themed ride at PKI. Have a great day! Italian Chef -
I will be there with my son and my friend Flo. She is coming because Mrs. Chef has to study for an exam that day and I cannot handle a 2-year old by myself. Have a great day! Italian Chef

When was the poll? I never saw it, so I couldn't vote. Have a great day! Italian Chef

The pictures do look awesome. I'm taking opening day off from work so that I can take my 2-year old son, Toddler Chef, to NU. He'll have a ball. Have a great day! Italian Chef
