Don't forget PKIC Day at Siam Orchid on 1/18/04
The party room can probably fit 30 or so people. And there is PLENTY of parking as the restaurant is in a strip mall. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:

Don't forget PKIC Day at Siam Orchid on 1/18/04
If you attend Siam Orchid on 1/18 for our event PLEASE TELL THE SERVER THAT YOU ARE THERE FOR THE PKIC PARTY. Otherwise, you'll be brought to the main dining room instead of the party room where the rest of us will be. Also, in addition to the menu, Siam Orchid has an inexpensive (I think around $6) lunch buffet with great Thai and Chinese dishes. I hope to see some of you there. Sincerely, Italian Chef :chef:

New Characters For 2004?
I concur. Susie from the Rugrats would be a good addition to Nickelodeon Central. So would Sandy and Mr. Crabs from SpongeBob Squarepants.

Theming You Would Like To See
I do think that a Lara Croft look alike, as well as some cast members dressed in Star Fleet uniforms, would greatly enhance the "PARAMOUNT" atmosphere of PKI. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:

Do You Think Boomerang Bay Will Be A Success?
I think that Boomerang Bay will be a success if, and only if, the weather cooperates. Few people want to run around in a bathing suit in the rain. My theory is that because Boomerang Bay will be themed as a "NEW" water park in Greater Cincinnati, it will be a novelty and many people will want to visit it at least once...including people who might not normally visit WaterWorks. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:

Why Rivertown Is Better Than Action Zone
I agree as I prefer older women. Women and wine both age beautifully. And y'all may not realize it, but Mrs. Chef is older than me. However, I prefer Rivertown to Paramount Action Zone because: 1. The Beast is better than SOB, Top Gun, and Face/Off. Additionally, The Beast is the best roller coaster and the best ride at PKI. 2. White Water Canyon lasts much longer and is much more fun than Congo Falls. 3. Rivertown offers The Kings Island & Miami Valley Railroad, a ride which pregnant women (such as Mrs. Chef), the elderly, the physically challenged, babies, and just about anyone can enjoy. The ride is smooth and offers gorgeous scenary. Paramount Actinn Zone doesn't offer anything that pregnant ladies or people with physical limitations can enjoy. 4. Rivertown offers Wings Diner, which has indoor bathrooms. There aren't any eateries with indoor bathrooms at Paramount Action Zone. 5. Rivertown offers The Back Porch Stage, which in 2001 and years before offered AWESOME Country music shows. Paramount Action Zone has nothing like it. You have to pay extra money to enjoy the concerts at TimberWolf. 6. Outfitter Supplies and Rivertown Mining Company are awesome shops! Both are better than On Location. 7. Paramount's Action Zone is very concrete. Rivertown offers more natural scenery. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:

How should PKI's next ride be themed?
I agree 1000%. A Star Trek motion simulator/coaster/ride would fit great by FoF in Coney Mall. It would also make an awesome addition to Paramount's Action Zone. Live long and prosper. Captain Italian Chef, USS Chef's Ristorante :chef:

How should PKI's next ride be themed?
Back in the late 1980s I met Marina Sirtis (and Jonathan Frakes) at 2 separate Science Fiction conventions in NYC and got autographed pictures of both of them. I agree that Marina Sirtis might be able to persuade some of PKI's staff that Star Trek would be a good thing. She's got my vote! Live long and prosper. Winterfest
I'm not the best person to tell you because I never attended. However, I'll give you a super-ficial answer. Before Paramount bought Kings Island the park used to have a winter festival in December. It featured ice skating, food vendors, Santa Claus, and other features that I don't know about. It was an off-season event. I hope that helps. Italian Chef :santa:

How should PKI's next ride be themed?
If I am correct, it was that some children were scared of Klingons. However, I don't see why PKI can't have ordinary cast members dress as human or even Vulcan Star Fleet officers. Additionally, I think that a Star Trek themed coaster or flat ride or motion simulator would augment PKI's motto of "ride the movies at Paramount's Kings Island". Hence, I say PKI please give us some Star Trek. Sincerely, Captain Italian Chef, USS Chef's Ristorante :medieval: :chef:

Yellow Sponge vs. Gun Barrel
Amen Mrs. G! Like most times, it seems that you and I are in agreement. Great minds do think alike. Since PKI has 2 theaters in the Paramount FX Theater, it'd make great sense to feature SpongeBob 3D in one theater and 007: License to Thrill in the other. On a side note, my wife's favorite Paramount FX film to date is 007:License to Thrill. And her favorite PKI show this far is Graveyard Shift. Can y'all guess why I married her? She and I think much alike. Happy New Year! Italian Chef :chef:

New Characters For 2004?
Zim was kicked off nick for more RUGRATS! Chef: Boomerang is placed pretty high up on my cable listings. I was hearing rumors about a jetsons movie (live action like scooby). I think what we may see is some of the more popular ones (jetsons, flinstones, yogi) will be redone again or will air again. Heck Transformers,Teenage mutant ninja turtles and heman are back. (side note) My cousins want teenage mutant ninja turtles video game. I think instead I will pick them up a NES and the game for half that (/side note) The jetsons were made not as timeless as Sooby Doo per say. They used what was current at the time. The series it self would have to be redone and updated a bit. Yogi is pretty timeless though. SOBRider, I am familiar with Boomerang. However, I live in Northern Kentucky whose cable provider is Insight. At the time of this writing Insight does not offer, nor does it have any plan to offer Boomerang. Therefore I am in a very sad situation. Have a great day! Italian Chef

KC back on the selling block
Perhaps Cincinnati's Coney Island should buy it. The park would benefit from a good thrill ride. However, I doubt that they have the $1.1 million to spare.

New Characters For 2004?
I miss Hanna-Barbera characters so much that I dropped $55 on Amazon.com the other day to buy old H-B cartoons. Not only are these characters (except for Scooby Doo) not present at PKI anymore, but Cartoon Network no longer features them either. That is VERY sad. No more "yabba dabba doo", no more "smarter than your average bear", no more "Captain CCAAVVVE MAANN", etc. Perhaps the youth of tomorrow will re-discover the old H-B toons and they'll come back in style like Scooby Doo did. However, I really doubt it. Happy New Year! Italian Chef

First Ride?
Probably my first ride of 2004 will be FoF because the lines get VERY long. The sad thing is that I have to wait until May to go to PKI because my child is due in late April. I can't go to PKI before he is born in case my wife goes into early labor.

Yellow Sponge vs. Gun Barrel
I am in agreement with FusionDude. James Bond 007: License to Thrill had an actual story line. It was great to pretend I was a spy trying to rescue a beautiful lady from an evil villain. The story was fun and exciting. SpongeBob is very child-oriented. Didn't SpongeBob have a spare pickle somewhere is the Krusty Krab? Chasing after a pickle is not my idea of good kitchen hygiene. Though I can appreciate it, I much preferred 007. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:

How should PKI's next ride be themed?
Amen Brother! :pope: I think it is ridiculous the way Star Trek fans are stereo-typed. Happy New Year! Italian Chef :chef:

TR:TR V.2?
My guess is they may flip us 6 times instead of 3 times. I really don't foresee any dramatic changes. :cowboy:
-
What will the march annoucement be?
My guess is that the announcement will be (1) An upgraded TR:TR and (2) A new film to complement SpongeBob 3D. That's my 2 cents. Happy New Year! Italian Chef :chef:
