  1. Neither can I. "Pardon me bar tender I'll have a glass of red wine, shaken not stirred." - Secret Agent Italian Chef :chef:
  2. No matter what they do to TR:TR, I still prefer Delirium.
  3. I am not over optimistic that WinterFest will come back. Mr. Siebert stated that when Winterfest was available....the park closed in September, which gave KI months to prepare. Now they close in November...less time. Additionally, I don't think that PKI's accountants would find WinterFest lucrative enough to justify the cost of operation. Additionally, during the days of WinterFest, PKI almost had a monopoly on the Christmas event market. Nowadays, they must compete with The Beach Water Park (Holiday Fest with a REAL nativity scene), the Newport Aquarium, a revived Main Strasse Village, etc. Those are my thoughts. However, if WinterFest should return...I'm there dude! yours truly, Italian Chef :chef:
  4. For me King Cobra was a take it or leave kind of ride. When the lines were short enough, I got on. If they were long...I didn't. I prefer sit-down to stand-up roller coasters. Additionally, I much prefer Delirium to King Cobra. However, the nice thing about King Cobra was that when I rode it...I missed Japan a little because I lived there and King Cobra was built there. Arigato gozaimasu to denu ona aishdemasu! Italian Chef desu
  5. Captain Picard, Thanks for the vote of confidence. If PKI would give me my own Italian restaurant at PKI, they'd see their profits significantly increase. I hope that someday they'll do it. I wish you and your wife a great weekend! Commander Italian Chef :chef:
  6. I voted for "yeah I miss the park" because there wasn't a choice that said "I've never been there but would like to see it". Hence, that' my stand on this issue. I'd be happy to visit Americana if and when it ever opens. Hence you can count me in. Can I catch a ride with you as Mrs. Chef will surely need the car that day? Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  7. I love PKI and would be happy to attend Winter Fest or any other off season event. :chef:
  8. Good one Ryan! 1. First off Kings Island changes the "haunted" attraction in Hanna-Barbera Land every 10 years. Hence, I predict that in 10 years from now SDATHC will be replaced by a Nickelodeon themed haunted kiddie attraction. 2. I predict that starting in 2005 or 2006 PKI will slowly start to shrink Hanna-Barbera Land as it expands Nickelodeon Central. I think that rides, eateries, games, and shops in Hanna-Barbera Land will be re-named and re-themed much the way PKI is doing with WaterWorks' transformation into Boomerang Bay. 3. I predict that after SDATHC goes - Hanna-Barbera Land will cease to exist and there will only be one children's area......Nickelodeon Central, though the name may be changed to celebrate its increased size. 4. I predict that in 2006 or 2007 Oktoberfest Gardens will be divided between International Street (Festhaus, Airbrushed Shirts, Portraits, and Woodworks); Paramout Action Zone (Sling Shot, Bubba Gump Shrimp Shack, Adventure Express, Age & Weight Guessing Game, and Kareoke Recording Studio); and Coney Mall (Viking, Cyber Sez, Remote Control Cars and Boats, and Jumping Jack Splash). 5. I predict that a large, non-record breaking steel roller coaster will be added by PKI in 2005. 6. I predict that by 2013 Craig Ross will be elevated to General Manager of Paramount's Kings and Jeff Siebert to GM of Paramount's Kings Island. 7. I predict another indoor thrill ride like TR:TR based on a not yet made hit Paramount movie. 8. I predict that Flight Team won't last and will be replaced by something else - maybe a large steel coaster. That's my 2 cents. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  9. Most people I talk to say that PKI's lines are shorter than Cedar Point's, but longer than SFWOF and SFKK.
  10. I heard a rumor that the fine people of PKIC will hang out at the park together at least twice next year. Is it true???? Italian Chef :chef:
  11. This weekend I saw 2 movies - and while PKI is open, I seldom have the time to take Mrs. Chef to a movie. Hence, I'm seeing more movies with my wonderful wife and will hit the musuems soon. Once it gets to cold to go out....more movie rentals and video games. Have an awesome day! Italian Chef :chef:
  12. I gave PKI a 2 because though it's cleaner than any other seasonal theme park I've visited....it's not on the same level as the 7 Disney theme parks that I visited. If PKI had Disney's resources.....they'd put Disney to shame.
  13. My turn. Ha ha! On my "last" day at PKI before moving to Florida I'd get there BEFORE the park opens. I'd take an entourage with me, whose members would be Mrs. Chef (assuming she already gave birth and recovered) and many of the great people I've met from PKIC. I'd ride all of my favorite rides at least twice - namely The Beast, FoF, Adventure Express, and Delirium. I'd probably eat lunch at Bubba Gump and dinner at Festhaus. Assuming that the shows were playing....I'd see the Country music show and the specialty show at the Paramount Theater after meals. I'd ride as many rides as possible and get lots of pictures with Scooby Doo, Nickeloden characters, and my entourage. Prior to leaving the park....I'd buy many souvenirs from the shops. I'd quite possibly shed some tears at the end of the night. How's that? Italian Chef :chef:
  14. I'd like to humbly thank you all for your kind words and well wishes. And I had a great time meeting and hanging out with those of you who attended the two PKIC days at PKI. I feel blessed to have had befriended such awesome people. Have a great day! Charles Infosino aka Italian Chef :chef:
  15. The Cincinnati Art Museum is FREE and one of the top art museums in the nation. Hence, I strongly recommend you visit it while PKI is closed. I'm probably heading there this week. Though it doesn't offer thrill rides like PKI, it does offer thrilling cultural artifacts similar to TR:TR. Have a great day! Italian Chef
  16. Kudos to PKI. Their donation is not only noble, but sets a good example for those of us who can afford to donate.
  17. Brother Fusion, I do hope to see you at the event. It is cheap - just the cost of your meal plus you get to watch PKI videos and hang out with cool people. Amen! Brother Italian Chef
  18. Now that PKI is closed until 4/04...what will you do???
  19. 10. We saw the Maestro play the organ in the corridor. 9. The lines were short. 8. The music was very, very cool. 7. It was similar to Disney's Haunted Mansion. 6. The outdoor sound effects rocked. 5. It used 3-D mechanical characters instead of cardboard cut-outs. 4. The Maestro was one cool, but scary dude. 3. It was better than SDATHC. 2. Its got its own story of PKIC, the hottest PKI site in the world. 1. It featured Helga Bovine and Italian Chef LOVES fat women!
  20. Now that PKI is closed for the season, I'll see many more movies, play many more video games, and visit the Cincinnati Art Museum way more.
  21. My guess is about the same as other parks its size.
  22. Mr. Siebert hinted that there'd be some change, but I have no idea what.
  23. Miss Di, Hi, how are you? I'm very sorry about the way things turned out for you that day. I was at the park, but most likely in a retail shop when you showed up. It would have been a pleasure to sign your book and I am most disappointed that I didn't have the honor of meeting you. If you can make my PKI video event on 1/18/04 in Alexandria, KY I would be very happy to sign your book. Additionally, you'd be able to watch PKI-related videos and order great Thai and/or Chinese cuisine. If you can't make it, let's please coordinate a day and time next season when I can meet you at PKI, so that I can sign your book and have the honor of meeting you. Again, I am truly sorry about the way things turned out. Had I known, I would've hung out at the Eiffel Tower instead of looking for sales (and there were none). Sincerely, Charles Infosino aka Italian Chef :chef:
  24. I would like PKI to return: 1. All the Hanna-Barbera characters. 2. The Scooby Doo shows - and add Fred and Dafney. 3. The Graveyard Shift show. That much, and I'll be very happy. Sincerely, Italian Chef
  25. You are so correct. I was greatly disappointed by the absence of sales this year. On closing weekend 2001 there were GREAT sales. T-shirts, sweatshirts, and other apparel were marked down 50% and other items, such as stuffed animals, were even cheaper! I spend over $100 and saved about $100 for Christmas gifts. However, this closing weekend not one thing was on sale - hence I bought not a single Christmas gift.
