  1. Please pretend that you (or one of your parents if you are too young) were hired by Universal Studios Orlando and had to move there with your family. One condition of the contract was that you (and your whole family) could only visit PKI one last time. How early would you get there? How late would you leave? Which flat rides and roller coasters would you ride? Which eateries would you dine at and for which meals? Which shows would you see? Which games would you play? What souvenirs would you buy? Please describe what your last visit to PKI would be like before moving to Florida. :chef: Trying to spark your imagination, Italian Chef

  4. My guess is that in 2005 PKI will build a new steel roller coaster - and nothing record breaking. Additionally, I think that SpongeBob in 3D will probably be replaced by something else at the Paramount FX Theater and that'll count as a second attraction. Additionally, I think that Nickelodeon Central will get a new flat ride. If I am correct, by the time 2005 rolls around no one will remember including me. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  5. Mrs. Chef and I also went to PKI on 10/25/03 - and since she is pregnant we also had a short visit. First we went to SDATHC. Though it was 10 AM on the nose, the line was already long. Mrs. Chef beat me by 200 point! Then we rode the Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad to the Pumpkin Patch where we each were able to pick and keep a small pumpkin. Then on to The Great Pumpkin, an animatronic pumpking that appears to talk. The reality is that an actress is hidden somewhere and she holds rather good conversations. Then we walked to Hanna-Barbera Land and passed the Rugrats Runaway Reptar. Since there was no line (rare) I rode alone while Mrs. Chef waited. Then I bought us blueberry ice cream cones at Huckleberry Dairy. Since I finished my cone before Mrs. Chef, I rode Adventure Express once by myself and then we left. I know that my trip didn't sound exciting because I didn't get on any thrill rides - and my trip was brief. However, I still enjoyed myself because I was with my favorite person (my wife) at my favorite place (PKI). Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:

  7. It's too bad none of us can't win the powerball and then buy the old PT characters, props, and music and build a new PT for ourselves.
  8. Due to the fact that many people on these forums are young, we're probably going to end up having it Sunday 1/18 for lunch because it's cheaper that way. Nevertheless......I need more votes. Please vote.
  9. I look forward to seeing the video. However....I'm more interested in actually GOING to Boomerand Bay next year.
  10. I always use the Gold Pass parking area and use the bring a friend free day maybe once a year. Aside that.....I seldom use the Gold Pass perks except for the early ride Saturdays.
  11. Jimmy, You can buy the Partridge Family episode on www.bestbuy.com and it comes with FREE delivery. The name of the tape is "Stars in our eyes". I'd be happy to make a copy of The Brady Bunch episode and mail it to you...but I only have 1 VCR. If I find someone who can dub it...it'll contact you. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  12. Since Monday, 1/19, is a national holiday many people should be off from work or school. I think that probably Sunday 1/18 will be best - either lunch (which is cheaper and in the daytime) or dinner. But hey.......I need more people to respond! Have a great day, Italian Chef :chef:
  13. I mentioned it on both sites several weeks ago. It's not a PKIC-PKIU event but a PKI fan event open to the PKI public. Anyone who wants to eat Thai & Chinese food while watching PKI videos is welcome. As you may know, I walk a fine line between both sites and don't want to offend or alienate anyone. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  14. Fusiondude, thanks for your vote. Everyone else, please vote. I promise not to raise taxes or cut spending in education. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  15. A number of folks have expressed interest in meeting at Siam Orchid Thai restaurant in Alexandria, KY to share a meal and watch PKI-related videos after the park closes. Please vote in the poll and tell me whether or not the dates I proposed will work well with you. Once I have an idea of how many people could make it and when...I can start planning the event. Have a great day! Italian Chef
  16. I'm glad to see we're finally seeing some UNITY in the PKI fan CommUNITY. The state motto of my state, the Commonwealth of Kentucky is "United we stand...divided we fall." Have a groovy day! Italian Chef :chef:
  17. I started a poll to see when people would like to meet at the Thai restaurant after the season ends to watch PKI videos. Please vote. Sincerely, Italian Chef :chef:
  18. I do hope that you fine PKIC folks will read my Adventure Express story and give me some feedback. If you didn't read my Phantom Theater story yet...please read it first as it's the prequel to Adventure Express. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:

  20. I'll start a poll to ask.
  21. Barring any emergencies, I plan to be there.
  22. I will be at the park on the last weekend for sure and possibly this weekend too. I much more enjoyed FearFest last year compared to this year. It didn't escape my notice that there was less theming and way many more people compared to one year ago.
  23. Losing Streak, Regardless of your career path, I wish you the very best of luck. Sincerely, Italian Chef
  24. Brad, No offense was taken. I realize that in this area there aren't many Asians and folks tend to have 50 year old stereotypes that are obsolete. As I said before, the young Japanese are on average MUCH taller than the older Japanese. I'll look into the yen computation some time in the future. Amongst folks on this site I am unique that I actually lived in Japan and grew up in multi-ethnic NYC. Have a great day! Italian Chef
  25. Boddah, If you SERIOUSLY want it on your birthday...let me know. I can reserve the restaurant for that day. Have a groovy day! Italian Chef :chef:
