  1. Dane, You and Dan rock! I look forward to seeing my Adventure Express story next. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  2. I'll probably be there. Though I don't like to go out on Sunday nights....I'll probably be there because after Baby Chef is born my PKI visits will be limited to the early daytime.
  3. Boddah, I CAN get you drunk at Siam Orchid. Every time I go there after 8 PM the owners and I share wine....so much so that I need a designated driver. You'd better be sure you have one on your birthday! Cheers! Italian Chef :chef:
  4. I will talk to my friends, the owners of Siam Orchid, this week about reserving their party room. How does Sunday, January 11th, 2004 or 1/18 sound? Please let me know. Sincerely, Italian Chef :chef:
  5. Rickster, Hope we can meet next time. IC :chef:
  6. As a former victim of ecoli food posioning who spend countless PAINFUL hours on the toilet...I look forward to experiencing this new ride. And I tell you, ecoli is no joke. It's much worse than salminela. I had diarrhea more than 20 times daily and lost 30 pounds quickly. The strain of ecoli that I had, 157, caused some fatalities in Japan. Luckily, I wasn't one of them.
  7. Tonight I went to PKI with my friend Boddah. We got to the park a little after 8 PM and stayed until nearly 11:30. The park was so crowded that we only had time for one haunted attraction, Adventure Express, and SOB. On a positive note...I saw a most gorgeous lady who sat in front of me at SOB. She was full-figured...my type! Sincerely, Italian Chef
  8. Please specify.
  9. Tonight I went to PKI with my friend Boddah. We got to the park a little after 8 PM and stayed until nearly 11:30. Plus we met Dan....the brilliant president and financier of this esteemed site. We are truly lucky to have Dan & Dane, the Dynamic Duo of PKI fans, to bring us this super-awesome site! The park was so crowded that we only had time for one haunted attraction, Adventure Express, and SOB. On a positive note...I saw a most gorgeous lady who sat in front of me at SOB. She was full-figured...my type! Sincerely, Italian Chef :chef:
  10. If you are young and childless....waste no time. Sign up for culinary classes even at night! A chef is like a cleric...it's a calling, much more than a profession. A chef is an artisian, a creator, as well as a dietician. GO FOR IT! Italian Chef
  11. Thank you Rickster! I want to be a great father - 1000% better than my pop. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:

    Prices

Here's my PERSONAL opinion as a guest on prices: 1. Season Pass - Dirt Cheap! 2. One-day ticket - Fair. 3. Food - Fair. 4. Games - Fair. 5. T-shirts/souvenirs/etc. - Fair 6. Drinks - Too bloody expensive! Overall - Fair. Sincerely, Italian Chef
  13. He's a chef. He's a manager. Wish I could say the same.
  14. Dear Sir, When I first read your question, my reaction was "The Japanese people are NOT Pygmies!" However, I realize that your question suggests that you have never met a Japanese person in your life - or perhaps very few. I have been to Japan twice and lived there for over one year. I met MANY Japanese people and studied their language, culture, religions (Buddhism & Shinto), and history. And I am a full-blooded Italian-American married to a Japanese woman who is carrying our first child. First off, you are totally wrong to assume that Japanese people are too short to ride bigger roller coasters. The average Japanese is only 4-5 inches shorter than the average American. If you want evidence....read the following: http://blazernet.ccsd.k12.co.us/media/math...ere/height.html As a GENERAL statement of ethnicity and height...West Africans (ex. Nigerians, Ghanans) tend to be taller than East Africans (ex. Ethiopians, Somali) and Africans in general tend to be slightly taller than Europeans. However, Africa is also home of the Pygmies. Hence, the world's tallest and shortest people are Africans. Northern Europeans (ex. Dutch, Swedes, etc.) tend to be taller than Southern Europeans (ex. Italians, Greeks). And Europeans in general tend to be taller than Asians. Amongst Asians, Northeast Asians (Mongolians, Japanese, etc.) tend to be taller than Southeast Asians (Thais, Vietnamese, etc.). Not all of any race fits all of any stereotype. As a European-American man of 5'5, I am over 4 inches below my ethnicity's average height. My Japanese wife of 5'3 is 3 inches above her ethnicity's average height. Either way, between the 2 of us...we expect a short, dark haired child. On a side note when I lived in Japan I noticed that the "average" man over 50 was shorter than me but the average man under 40 was taller than me. Not only were men taller than me....but even some women! I actually dated 2 Japanese women who are TALLER than me before I met Mrs. Chef. In conclusion...no the Japanese are NOT too short for any ride that Paramount may bring to its new park in Japan. Have a great day! Italian Chef PS - I have studied anthropology and ethnicity in detail, so please don't feel overwhelmed.
  15. According to the article below in The Cincinnati Enquirer, David Zellner is "the new food service manager for Kings Island" and "the park's first executive chef". http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2003/04/0..._pkifood02.html Have a great weekend! Italian Chef
  16. Without PKI I'd only ride roller coasters 3-4 times a year and have to drive 2 hours south at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom to do so. Without Kings Island I wouldn't be less 45 minutes away from the adrenilin rush I get whenever I ride The Beast. And w/o PKI...I wouldn't have met all the groovy people on these forums. Have a great weekend! Italian Chef
  17. I doubt that PKI will install something like the Fast Pass system that Disney uses....but you never know.
  18. Fusiondude, If you have the tape...please bring it over. Have a great weekend! Italian Chef
  19. You are lucky to have a mother like Mrs. G. Trust me on that!. My passions are amusement parks, travel, cooking, and wine. And my parents didn't help with those interests. I saw your mother interact with you and I hope that I'll be as graceful a parent with my child. And may I commend you and your sister for your well-behavior? With all the troubled children out there commiting crimes and bad deeds....Mrs. G is lucky to have 2 nice daughters. I hope that I'll be lucky to have a nice, well-behaved child. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  20. I still don't know who earns more, The Beach Water Park or Coney Island.
  21. DocDude, Being 21 means that your younger friends will beg you to buy them beer. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  22. Well I surely hope that Paramounts Parks has something good planned for Boomerang Bay's eateries.
  23. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the new version of that site.
  24. Hey I have nothing against young people. My wife is pregnant with our first child who is younger than anyone that can possibly post on this site. It'll be years until Chef's child can use the Internet. :chef:
  25. Dan, I am hoping to be at the park this Saturday. Will you be there? Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
