Thanks Terpy, it would not show up as embedded so I did a link. Too tired to think right now. And yes the lip sync is horrible but I think it only adds to it.

Task Bar Blocking Your Text Box?
Monroe replied to coaster_junky's topic in KICentral Footnotes & Small News
They say a genius is born every day, at least we know who that was on Wednesday December, 2 1992!! Thank you, no more cut and past from word. -
Ahh yes the Streco turnpike, they were made just north of Cincinnati in Middletown Ohio by Streifthau Manufacturing. They were so much fun, that my uncle rode them all the time in a clown outfit. The proof is in the video at 53 sec. Uncle Jim is the one with the yellow umbrella and Hobo face. This was some sort of promotional day, maybe opening day but I'm not sure. That was the only reason he would do it is for some thing special.

I can see one of two things happening: First the sale does not happen and Cedar Fair re-structures financially through Apollo. With the debt that Cedar Fair has, I don’t see too many companies that would jump at it without a back out plane if the loan fails. (Apollo assuming full control and ownership of Cedar Fair.) Second, I see Apollo purchasing Cedar Fair and keeping Mr. Kinzel and many others on for one year. At that point I can see another sell off of several parks: Cedar Point, Dorney Park, Knott's Berry Farm, and Valleyfair. Who will buy them? If you do not know then you have not read a word Terpy has written. Just think about who the major investors are at Cedar Fair and also who there family and very close friends are, both who have and have not worked for Cedar Fair. I can see the latter happening before the former, and even maybe written into the sale agreement and contracts some how. I'm not a legal or any thing but I have seen stranger things happen.

I can attest to the fact that you can see ALL of SOB from the air, and yes it is from experience.

Toledo Blade, about 1990 or so had a coupon for Wendy's on one side and then perfectly matched on the other was a coupon for Burger King. Both companies in the area honored both sides of the coupon for the equivalent of what was on the coupon. I know not really related, but darn funny, and thanks to your comment I was able to remember and laugh again.

The Carousel, I could ride that forever.

It didn't stop me, or many many others from going in the past. As a matter of fact it was quite fun to huddle up with the family in the Festhouse to warm up after growing icicles on the Carousel. Besides, who goes ice skating outside in 60 deg weather any ways?

KINGS ISLAND, CofC Vow To Fight Admissions Tax Proposal
Monroe replied to The Interpreter's topic in Kings Island
There is a reason it has Deerfield Townships heavy rescue truck stationed in it and I hope I don't have to tell you why. Also that station responds to the golf center and the businesses along Kings Mills rd., part of the annex? Kick back to Deerfield Township? Or maybe a little of both? I don't think Deerfield Township would want to loose that kind of a kick back just to gain a massive responsibility without an income tax coming from the head ache....I mean park. Two last things: I'm not knocking you, just pointing out some thing you might have missed. Second, I want to thank that fire station publicly. They responded to an accident that my wife had and totaled her car. Every one was ok, and I contribute that to the response of the fire department. -
Thanks For Another Great Season!

I think this fits the occasion very nicely. There's even a Mouseketeer in there! -
I can say yes to all of them, at one point in time. Not every year, but I have done them all. One little side note: Does any one know of any one who has purchased a ring at KI and used it for an engagement ring? I do know of such a person, (no it was not me) and they are still married after 21 years.

Interesting conversation going on. I would just like to add that all hangers at Wright-Patterson have been reassigned since the early '70's. Some are gone and new ones are in there place, others are still there. The older section of the base, (Wright field) is mainly made up of research buildings and the AF museum. It did (or may still) have a hanger 18 with a research building attached to it, this may or may not be the Presidential hanger or the rebuild and fabrication hanger. If you look at Bing Maps and look at the Wright field section it might be obvious to you, but you will not be able to see an underground research facility that may or may not exist. I hope that I have been as clear as the Interpreter is? What I do know is that Wright-Patterson has the BEST medical facilities of any base any where, always have. There is at least one person on here who owes his life to those people. (I wish they had an Alfred Hitchcack emoticon.) (sp intentional, I hate *)

Be patient young one, talent is some times over looked but is never forgotten. Some one may have taken a position before you, but there is always weed be gone waiting. Companies don't always take the best first because it is cheaper in the short term.

Wow bot calls that will not let you hang up? What's next, Burger King adds on your watch every time you push the light switch? (Oh crap, I gave them another idea.)

^^Do you work for a company that opperates a help desk or some sort? In that case, some phone systems are designed not to hang up on customers, you have to wait untill they hang up.

^ I am talking about if your unit over ran the opponent and they had no one to pick up the flag. At that point, a member from your unit would fold the flag and place it on a fallen opponents chest. You are correct, if the flag does fall the person closest should drop there arms and pick up the flag.

Ha Ha same boat. I received a call on my cell just as I turned it on at CVG at around 1pm. It was like they were waiting for me to land, go figure. And no I have never given my cell # out to people like that.

The "rules" used for the American Flag are not really "rules" but rather respect and honor. This should be true for any flag, even if it has a bunny and easter eggs on it. It used to be that when at war and the opponents flag would fall without any one to pick it up, the flag would be picked up off the ground and placed on the chest of a fallen soldier. Respect and honor, a company flag represents an organization just as the American Flag, treat it the same.

Originally the park had many sponsors: Marathon, Firestone, P&G, Kahn's, Sherwin-Williams, and Kodak to name a few. Most attractions (Shows and entertainment) and some rides had sponsors, so there is nothing new about this at all. It would be interesting to see who would be interested in sponsorship today though.

I'm trying to determin if that was a jab or not...... Yes, it was a jab or not. I'm tryin' to "determin" if they teach geniuses how to spell in Massachusetts! Terpy, who loves to provoke good friends HaHa did not see that, my spell check must have been programmed by some one from Harvard.
