I can't wait to see the USS Alabama pictures, I have not been there yet. I have seen some of the planes that are in the hanger before, I think there is a B-24 can't remember the name though. The people that owned it said they had sold it to a battle ship museum, so I am assuming it is the same one, this has been a while back though. As for my avatar? That is a P-51D converted to a TF-51 by the name of Crazy Horse, you know, what they were going to name Diamondback before they got the crazy idea of a snake. (Ride sally ride!!) The plane holds a very special place in my heart, one that very few people have been able to experience. Very nice report, loved the Corvette pictures. Did you know that if you park your Hummer in a spot marked Corvette, they will ask you to move it! Boy the stuck up people in this world. (Yes that was sarcasm, before you get your hoochies in a bunch)

They have been running some specials at times, but the standard price from Kroger's is $34.95. I do not know if they are running a different promo price right now or not. Best bet is to say $34.95 and hope that there is a special price.

Just an FYI. Fox 19 has an F1 race from the ring on right now, (started at 3). There are a couple of camera angles that show the track of the coaster in front of the new grand stands.

Well it says that super glue will not fix a priceless vase, and saving a lot of money will not get you quality. (At times spending a lot of money will not get you quality either but.....)

If you get a German written sight, just look for the British flag and that will take you to an English mirror site. And yes it will be helpful to know German if you go there, but they do have English speaking hosts to help you find the events and display's that are in English. (But it is pretty self explanatory and easy to find on your own.)

Lights are left on in certain areas for many reasons, some being: cleaning crews, maintenance, and security. Most parks that I have been in and or worked in do not sleep especially during the operating months. As a matter of fact, at this very moment (4:37am) crews are getting ready to inspect the many rides and attractions for your enjoyment.

Sounds like they go to Knott's Berry Farm, you will find the Timber Mountain Log Ride there. Close to Thornberries, but a better theme. I have also seen a lot of Sling Shots called moon shots. I will bet that we will see a lot more of this, CF park goers tend to visit other CF parks just to see what they are missing. On the Ka vs. TTD issue: The Germans do not have a clue when it comes to records. Last visit I spent a good hour on rcdb.com trying to explain the difference because one of them tried to tell me that: "TTD, you know the big green one in NJ wasn't going to be the fastest any more when they finished there coaster". and second: "I rode The Beast, and it wasn't that long or exciting, besides they tore that down a couple of years ago." (Never been to the US, but frequented Australia)
