A boat is the woods?
Well I have asked the question: How much does a coaster train cost? And this is the response I received.

Am I the Only One?
Wow I had more of a lean steak and green veggies in mind, but your way works too. The only problem with ferrous sulfate is that it is also a blood thinner because of the very high concentration of iron, but some one with a condition such as yours needs that. Most over the counter iron supplements do not have the blood thinner in them, neither the high concentration of iron. Reading this, I take it that you are in remission? And what type of war were you battling? I do not want to pry, so if you do not answer I will assume that you are well and leave it at that except for the thoughts I will have on Sundays for you. Am I the Only One?
^^You have a better chance of brown or black out. The whole idea is to keep oxygen going to your head, that is what a "G Suit" is for, it squeezes your legs and lower body to force blood into your head. You are doing the same thing when you tens up your legs and squeeze your butt cheeks but in a smaller scale. ^High sugar levels tend to speed up the blood flow not allowing the oxygen to transfer to needed organs. Try running a mile after drinking a pop, your time will be slower than if you just drank water and you will be breathing heaver. Also a high protein diet low in saturated fats will help with proper blood flow.......Now you have me talking like my doctor, she will be so proud.

Am I the Only One?
Easy way to alleviate this is to squeeze your butt cheeks and tens up the muscles in your legs, that will help send and keep blood in your head. Make sure you continue to do this for a couple of seconds after the G's. Old pilot trick.

5 Roller Coasters You Have Yet To Ride but want to...
Been there 5 times, forgot to ride it all 5 times. (Yes I said FORGOT, it's an age thing.) http://www.rcdb.com/ig1150.htm?picture=1 ..And just because they will not let me ride.... http://www.rcdb.com/ig3139.htm?picture=4 Four months and this one will be scratched off the list.. http://www.rcdb.com/ig4065.htm?picture=27 When your in my bizz, you just don't go to Vancouver, BC to ride a coaster but some day.... http://www.rcdb.com/ig320.htm?picture=1 And finally, it just looks like a lot of fun, but I have not had the time.. http://www.rcdb.com/ig3757.htm?picture=25 I was going to do something similar to Terpy, but I start to cry when I think about all the coasters that I would like to ride but were before my time, and I can not seem to narrow down my top 50 into a top 5.

Coastermania: Kings Island in the Late 80s/Early 90s
Yes, I do know what Betamax is. It was a failed attempt at video recording, embarrassed by VHS, like HD-DVD was recently by Blu-Ray. So...Super-8 was really old, yet they made this tape is the early 90s or something. Wow. I would not use the term "embarrassed", more so I would say that the more superior "Betamax" was forced out by the "cheaper" VHS and the porn industry. (But all of that is for a discussion on a different board.)

Wild Escape--Now What?
At an estimated cost of $200 mil. I would think that they are thinking of building some thing with an old style park feel like Camden. I would hope that they would find some designs of rides and coasters of the past and replicate them. (I know, replicas never live up to the real thing but it would be a great place to start.) Besides, how hard is it to make a really good Pronto Pup any ways.......oh wait, never mind.
-
Wild Escape--Now What?
Will it have a sewage plant about 100yrds away? Or a stinky river next to it? I know it will not have some of the best looking coaster trains, because Camden is hard to beat in that category. (Monroe, who thinks Camden is a fun park, just has problems breathing in the hot summer time that close to a sewage plant.)

Could diamondback be considered floorless?
No, I am more of a GM kind of guy. I hated all of my fathers cars, he had the honor of meeting Mr. Ford so it was Ford or nothing for him. I will, however, have the chance to take a Mustang out for some fun in June. (A long and awaited journey by myself this time, it was supposed to be last fall but trips abound.) Let's just hope that Mr. Merlin doesn't play any tricks on me like he did the last time with the instructor.

Could diamondback be considered floorless?
Does the cooling systen in a 1958 Ford Fairlane work if all four windows are down but the car is not moving in the summer? (same answer for both questions. Monroe who failed his first driving test because of a 10 year old Ford Fairlane, stupid turn signal!!!)

New Orleans preparing to sue Six Flags....
^Yes I stand corrected, Pontchartrain Beach was on south shore. I guess that I just had Pontchartrain on the brain, never made it to Jazzland until Six got a hold of it.

New Orleans preparing to sue Six Flags....
^^^Barking up the wrong tree, they will get nothing out of Six because Six has nothing, we also have not heard the last from Six on there side of the story. The city is started in the right direction by the court order for non removal of assets, but I think they should just ask Six to walk away and redevelop the area into Ponchartrain Beach again. It was better then any ways, until Six moved in. (Man where have I heard that one before, too bad change took so long to come around.)

HTCO's PTR of RWW!
You can't loose the recipe for that, it is on the back of a napkin...or was it a menu....or was it a legal pad.....oh I give in.....I wonder what they used for Diamondback? What ever it was, it was water proof because it turned out just right!!

Diamondback's Problems
^Kicker wheels do not guarantee that you will not get stuck at the top, the discussion was about an evacuation procedure if it were to get stuck at the top. Yes the kicker wheels will help if the train stopped at the top, but if the kicker wheels failed? Just remember: If it is mechanical, it WILL fail, that is why preventive maintenance is performed, to catch problems before they occur.

Diamondback's Problems
Been hanging with the family so much that I did not even see this topic. Well to expand on this, (as teenageninja stated) there is a service elevator that caries about 4 people at the most. Never been used except by service people, it will not be used for evacuation unless the train, the track, or both are deemed to be unsafe to run. In other words, if they can push you over, they will and it has been done on TTD. (A push over that is.) I do not recall or know of any time the train has stopped at the top of KK, but that does not mean that it has not happened. There are other safety concerns and procedures that go along with that type of evacuation, but it would take too long to explain. Also Ki Man: good observation on your part with the proximity censors, the only thing that I would add to that is it would take multiple failures to shut the ride down. Each "kill zone", as it is referred to, has about 4 to 6 censors (in some cases, the 4 to 6 censors have 2 censors each for back up). If a certain combination of censors are not in there normal state for operation at that time, it will "kill" the ride or engage the all stop. Last is a ? for Aaron, where did you find Consign's web site? They do not plaster there name in a lot of places, but they do incredible work and have a lot of creative people who work and contract for them. Just curious.

Hand stamps
For some one with a pass, it is for the most part a minor issue. In this economy, it could play out to be a disaster for a family of 4 paying regular gate. My experiences have been very good with this issue. Two years ago, we left to go swimming at a friends house. Before we left the park, I talked to GR, the lady took our pass information so we would not have to explain any thing. When we returned, we were lucky enough to talk to the same lady and she let us pass without any issue. I am in agreement with Terpy on this one, (imagine that) the park needs to make it easer on not just the guest but the employees who have to deal with the public. If that means spending a couple of extra nickels for better ink, then so be it. (Good topic giga, I like discussions like this. Some times small topics like this one can make or break a family vacation.)

KI Should Get This Ride!
^Yes the trains and hardware used is from that company, but the design and track is in house.
