  1. I enjoy Camden's Haunted House, and in my opinion it should be classified as a coaster. It has a lift, then is powered by gravity the rest of the way including an uphill section. (PhantomTheater running for the door after opening a can of worms).
  2. Oops! I meant Whizzer. PhantomTheater who went to SFGAm to find he enjoyed the little Schwarzkopf more than the other coasters there. Something about its spiral lift, low to the ground turns, and cozy train designs (now with seat belts unfortunately, as I assume it was like other coaster of its type that had none originally).
  3. Dollywood has one of those, and it is quite boring. They are nothing like a flying Scooter.

  5. Hasn't that been the plan since George Roose decided against the housing development idea?
  6. http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/fun/blog/2010/8/31/A_Special_Message.cfm The blog post have reappeared, how interesting.
  7. Actually I think the footage is from Knott's, not CP.
  8. http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2010/09/psychology_students_use_exposu.html Warning: PD enjoys putting "the" in front of every ride name.
  9. Every time I've ridden Maverick, the effects weren't working. The effects that need to be fixed is DISpatch mASTER TRANSPORT's, they haven't worked for 15 years.
  10. There's a gap between TG and R, maybe for MS 161' 1991? I hope not.
  11. Why did you put your body through that torture year after year?
  12. Already being discussed. http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=22773
  13. The fact that I still see toddlers and kids under 10 at the Haunt (and people who very clearly can't handle being scared) mean that these two bullet points are pretty much null and void; First off: Toddlers? At the Haunt? Really? What exactly are these toddlers doing during the Haunt? Watching Hot Blooded? They certainly aren't riding kiddie rides. I'm calling BS on this one. Sorry. You would be suprised at how many parents think it's ok to take their kids of all ages (literally from hand held infants), I've seen it at KI, CP, KW (which has no kid friendly activities at all) , GL and BGW. I have even seen parents laugh when their kids are freaking out, I question some parents judgments.
  14. Look buzz bars and no head rest, the way it should be.
  15. Was Skytower operating, or was it stationary with the eyes?
  16. It would, the block is set up that a train can not be dispatched until the previous train hits the brakes. If it had a MCBR the train could be dispatched when the previous train clears the MCBR.
  17. On Fridays and Sundays CP Halloweekends is worth it, but on Saturday's you might be parking on the grass!
  18. This is my response http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoPiJOubR-4
  19. If one is to ride MF in the morning or evening this time of year, the cooler air causes the train to run slow which results in less airtime. Also, us pirates scare the train to make it go slower.
